I was looking for a cushioned, balanced ,and supportive walking shoe and found a good match with the Clifton 8. I had knee pain from walking in ill - fitting shoes and my new hokas are completely comfortable for walking outdoors in my hilly neighborhood.

Nice cushy shoe, but I've slipped twice on wet asphalt so I'm not sure what's up with the tread on this brand. And the foot opening is too wide - my heel pops in and out. I had two other styles of Hoka and the Arahi was a favorite but only lasted like 6 months - again the tread just expired.

Love my Hokas. These feel very comfortable yet don't seem quite as cushioned as my last pair.

Purchased these Clifton Hokas after hearing how wonderful they were. I am pleased with my purchase as the shows did not require any break in period and were comfortable right out of the box. My only complaint is the arch digs in to my right foot slightly but I am hoping with a little time that will work itself out. Highly recommend these sneakers! Great comfortable sneakers!

Awesome colors. My feet are adjusting to running shoes, and while these for sure are stable and help me go the distance, they're a little stiffer then I would have anticipated. Zero regrets though. A definite step up from my usual kicks.

I really like the shoes. It took a little time to get the laces to the right tightness, but once I did, they are very comfortable

It feels a little big

I bought these for a trip I am taking next year. I will be walking more than usual so wanted them comfortable and arch supportive. I have plantar fasciitis and neuropathy in my toes. They are comfortable for this old lady's usual routine. If I wear them all day my feet ache a bit but recover quickly if I sit for a bit. So far my plantar facilitis hasn't acted up. Am walking more and more to see if they will get too tight as my feet react to walking so much. Wish they had an 11.5 in women's.

Bought these based on the reviews and they didn't disappoint. Great shoes for every day wear.

really digs the color. I'd give 'em 5 stars but the fact that Hoka skimps on sole construction means I can't truly love this purchase. The tread will wear off of these shoes within a year's use leaving the runner/walker with just a soft, smooth sole to propel their movement. They're built to be a disposable shoe.

Walking and shopping.

Generally use for walking and daily wear.

Good shoe but after wearing them awhile, my feet get real warm. The reason for 4 stars. They are very comfortable and I can wear them for long periods of time. Just wish they would be cooler during the wear time.

I use these sneakers for walking. I'm someone who needs a lot of support. These are comfortable but don't have as much of an arch as my old Bondi 7's. Also, I like having a loop at the heel to help pull on the shoe. The Cliftons don't have that.

I use it when running errands, short casual walks.

I suffer from plantar fasciitis and my job requires to be on my feet for long periods of time ; these shoes are good on support and cushioning but are narrow .

Great fit, with plenty of room in the toe box but snug where you need it. Used for walking ~3 miles per day. A little hard to slide into, and my last pair wore a hole inside the shoe back where the foot rubs upon sliding it on. But, comfort and support of the new pair reminds me why HOKA is worth it. The colors are too bright for me for everyday wear, but ok for exercise period.

Can wear for short periods of time but really needed a wide which was not available. Already have the new Clifton 9 in a wide. Does not feel, fit or look the same as the Clifton 8. Really miss the rounded toe!

Love the comfort as far as the soles. The arch is so high it's rubbing blisters above the arch on the sides of my feet.

I love the colors, I Love the design, I love the soft feel. I ordered an 8.5 in wide. The 8.5 is long enough because my large toe is not at the top of the shoe, however, even though I ordered a wide, my smaller toes feel squeezed in the toe box. My husband has the Clifton 8 as well and ordered a wide for himself and he found it too narrow as well. Men are fortunate because they have the option of another wider width. Since the Clifton 8 is being phased out, if I decide to try it again I may order a 9 wide and hope it feels better.

I love the Clifton 8. However, the color of this shoe is much brighter than it appears on the website. I will be returning them.
