This shoe provides great cushioning, but the shoebox is somewhat large and I have to tighten the laces beyond what might be expected so I have lots of extra shoelace. Otherwise my foot slides around too much.

My feet have always hurt when I stand too long. These really helped solve that problem. I would lol be ordering more soon!!

Love the color and love the support!

I tried on both the Clifton 8 and 9. I never owned a pair of either, but I know some people are the Dedicated Eight crowd. For me, I found the 8 and 9 to be comprable in stabilty and plush - both very comfortable. But the 8 had a slight firmness in the arch that even for tryiing on was bothersome. This is a "me" problem, not the shoe problem. Overall, the fit was very good, other than the arch issue, it is a comfortable shoe with room enough in the toe box and a secure feeling in the heel.

These Cliftons are slightly longer and narrower than previous 2 Clifton 9's. The 9's are narrower than the 8'a. Too bad there's such a lack of consistency but still good enough to keep them.

I bought these for walking (about 3 miles a day). I am switching over from ON Clouds. They are very cushiony, great on the heels. Would love a little more on the bottom of my feet.

These sneakers fit me great. The heel is slightly loose and that would be my only complaint. That's why I ranked them a 4 instead of a 5.

Nice for work stand all day

I would love the shoes if it didn't have seams that run along each side of the ankles, not far from the Achilles tendon. They bother me for the first 10 minutes of wearing them and feel narrow in the back even though I have narrow feet. I eventually get used to them and then forget about it, but for the price I wish they didn't put seams there. My husband ordered a different Hoka type and his does not have seams there. Next time I will try a different type. They are supportive and bouncy for kickboxing, nice for walking.

The sole is super supportive and bouncy when doing kickboxing but whenever I put the shoes on, the area around the Achilles tendon is annoying. There's a seam that runs down each side that I can feel and overall it feels very narrow there, even though I have very narrow feet. I don't know why they'd design seams to go there. My husband ordered a different Hika and his doesn't have seams. Maybe I picked the wrong shoe. Once I have worn the shoe for a while, I get used to it and it doesn't bother me too much but next time I'll try a design that doesn't have seams there.

I normally wear a size 6 but I ordered 6.5 because my podiatrist suggested half a size bigger for comfort. I expected to feel a bit loose but they actually fitted more like a size 6.

My cousin admired mine at Christmas. She does everything for everyone else. So you guys marked these down so I bought her a pair. She works out four times a week. She loves them

I needed to replace my old Clifton 8s. I felt they were a little big and decided to size a half size down. I realize that the half size down would have rubbed my toes wrong. Returned for my original size. Otherwise, I love the Clifton 8s. They are the first shoe that I haven't had to add an insert to. I tore my Achilles in 2022 and can run comfortably and easily with no pain on my Achilles or hips.

I love my Hoka shoes and these are good shoes comfortable I just don't like the way the back goes up so high on my ankle. That is the reason I gave it a 4.

Size up run small

First pair of Hokas. I did the shoe finder quiz and ordered as suggested. I like the look as they are not as bulky as some of the other models. Left shoe isn't as comfortable as the right. Arch seems a bit higher. Comfort is average and not more than my Brooks. Overall give the shoe a 6 out of 10. They do fit true to size.

Every since I discovered Hoka's I've always purchased the Bondi 8 and I've never gone wrong with the comfort I have with this shoe. I decided this year to try and branch out to some of Hoka's other styles so I bought the Clifton 8. I could tell right away that it didn't have the same cushion I was used to with the Bondi 8. I have been wearing the Clifton 8 shoe to work and because I'm a nurse, I wanted to see how it would make my feet feel. So far it's been good. I was also a little concerned about the size since I only wear an 8 in the Bondi's but the Clifton size 8 fit perfectly. So no complaints there. I would buy the Clifton 8 again for sure

It has a great foot bed, cushion

My old running shoes caused me to have hip and ankle pain as well as constant shin splints and cramping. Since purchasing these shoes, most if not all of these issues have been resolved. Running has become more comfortable and less impactful on my body. Now I can successfully train without fearing injury or unnecessary pain.

Comfortable for being on your feet. Light weight and breathable.

I normally wear 8.5, going forward, I asked for a 9 and it feels smaller than 9

I like that they are more comfortable than what I have been wearing but thought I was going to love them! The arch on the inside it harder than I would like it to be. They also have a squeaking sound when walking inside on a hard service. Didn't expect that!

I have tendonitis in my ankle and feel the Bondi shoes are more for supportive for that problem. Hopefully; these will be fine for me as my ankle improves.
