We went to Yosemite for a hiking adventure weekend. We hiked over 30 miles and the shoes were a hit! I don't have a single complaint. Actually, it is quite the opposite. They felt like walking on clouds. I did have to get 1/2 size bigger than usual. 100% recommended. They are worth every single penny!

since I had extensive foot surgery on my left foot, these are the only hiking boots that don't hurt my foot after the first mile.

68 yr old post hip surgery female - Hip was great but the rest of my body was wrecked from years of wonky walking. Spent years trying all sorts of shoe inserts, new shoes, anti-inflammation diet and exercise, etc., you know, I know you know. I am walking like a normal person again instead of Frankenstein's daughter. I see many pairs in my future but these Anacapa Low are perfection for me and my lifestyle, or the lifestyle I'm beginning to recover again. And I love that they are waterproof!

If you are in the market for hiking shoes . . . these should be your "go to"!!!! Were amazing from the first hike . . . and kept my feet dry in the rain!!! I normally wear a 7.5, but did size up to an 8 in these and they were perfect!!! Highly recommend Hoka One One Anacapa Low!!

I bought these to replace my old hiking shoes before a long National Parks vacation. I had hoped to break them in before our hikes well, life got in the way. First time wearing them out was a10 mile hike in Grand Teton. I have wider feet so I was worried they would start hurting, but I had no pain & no blisters! They only got better with each hike & have about 35 miles on them now & they are the best I've owned. Great arch support, & super grippy on all terrain, even slick rock. Love my new shoes!

Bought the Anacapa Low for a trip to Acadia. Took them out of the box and wore them for 7 straight days! I had not intended on doing that, but they were so comfortable I never took them off. They provided stability, comfort, and I think they look great, as an added bonus! I often have heel pain after long treks in sneakers, but these had so much cushion, it was never an issue. I LOVE these low hikers! Now I'm going to try a pair of sneakers from Hoka!

These needed absolutely no breaking in. True to size, nice and cushy, no rubbing on the ankles. Really well designed and stylish looking.

I walk 35+ miles a week and have had trouble find a supportive but comfortable shoe. I am very satisfied with this shoe, well worth the price.

I’ve completed 2 hikes of about 3.5 miles each oh rocky paths. The grip is great. For brand new shoes, they were pretty comfortable; hoping that continued wear increases comfort!

They are comfortable, but don't have the great memory foam cushion like the running shoes do. They have good traction on wet surfaces but not oily or soapy surfaces. Do not recommend as work shoes like another customer recommended. They are great for hiking.

Love everything except a bit of rubbing on the side seams inside. My feet have never had the wide width needed and I don't think they do now, so I don't really get it. I am going on 60 so I've been buying sneakers a long time, lol.

The arch didn’t align with mine and the left side of my foot slightly rubbed on the side of the shoe. It’s narrower than most Hoka shoes.

First time Hoka buyer. Got these for easy to moderate day hiking in Iceland. I have gone on a couple hikes with them at home and they are stable with good grip. They are warm due to the water resistant material so not great for hot weather. I got a half size up based on the reviews and I'm glad I did they fit well.

Love the look and performance of this shoe. I have not been hiking in it yet. It is roomy. It would be so nice to buy 2 different sizes as my left foot is a half size smaller.

I had to reorder these in a half size larger. They absolutely don’t fit true-to-size because I have NEVER worn a 7.5 in my entire life. That being said, once I got the fit right I was able to cruise along very comfortably with plenty of the wiggle room you want for your toes when hiking. Another point is that these shoes make my feet look HUGE because of the sole extending so far in the rear. But my feet aren’t very big to begin with, so not a real problem. They are very comfy. Lots of support where you want it. Cushy enough that a thin sock was all I needed. Would recommend!

I have the Hoka Bondi which has more cushion than this shoe. This anacapa has more structure to it, not as cushioning as Bondi. Good grip and goretex keeps everything dry which is great. Only complaint is that the back heel height is low - wish this provided more coverage.

Admittedly, I have some foot problems, most recently working through plantar fascitis, but I found these soles to be very stiff. Having had the Stinson and wear the Speed Goat for regular use, I bought this shoe for my daily 1-1.5 hr hikes. The shoe fits well. They are very stable. The soles have great traction. But, the soles are stiffer than anything. My foot gets super sore after a hike. I've gone back to my Speed Goats for hiking and use this shoe for working around the yard--hoping it will break in. I wore them on Earth Day to pick up trash along one of our local rivers and was crippled after 3 hrs. I did walk on a lot of rocks but it was bad! They look great and feel great until I walk. Will keep trying!

Colors are better in person. Not true to Size, I'm normally between a 7 1/2 to 8, have HOKA's in 7s that fit perfect. Thought I should order 7 1/2 in hiker, big mistake heels were lifting in shoe. Going for the 7 on next order. Comfy, light weight and supportive w/firm sole grip.

I really like these shoes. They are true to size and width. I thought I would need to do a long break in for my upcoming walk but they were comfy from the beginning! I have flat wider feet and these shoes seem like they will be perfect.

I normally don't need to buy wide shoes, but this was just a tad too narrow for my feet. Really wanted these to work for me as I need a waterproof shoe. Tried to break them in, but after a week, they were no better.
