The Anacapa is perfect for hiking! Great grip and well fitted with stylish design. I didn't even had to break it in! I would buy this again and again!

Great shoe that works for walking and hiking with feet comfortable. Granted every shoe needs inserts at least fir me but has helped with my planter fasciitis.

This is my second pair of Hoka shoes from LL Bean, I have the Speedgoat, thought the Anacapa would be great for fall, very comfortable.

I use these shoes for walking to work in a city and as hiking sneakers on trail - haven't had them very long but I really love them. they're really easy on the feet and comfortable all around. would definitely purchase again, but given the quality of the shoes, I do not think I will ever need to!

I use these shoes only for a hiking trail.

This was my first Hoka purchase - and it won't be my last. These trail shoes are amazingly comfortable, absolutely perfect fit, snug in the heel with plenty of room in the toe area. The sole keeps you from slipping, but doesn't track in dirt when you get back to the house.

I use this sneakers everyday, as I'm on my feet all day.. this is actually my 3rd pair. Different styles and colors of course. I love , love , love them..Very Comfortable. And highly recommend by My Podiatrist the best investment I've made this far. Thank You from a Satisfied Customer..

Hiking at national parks

I love these shoes, I am very hard on my shoes and the Hoka are the only ones ive found that make hiking wonderful! I hiked through Iceland with my new HOKA's and was so happy i got a new pair!

Waterproof. Has great grip when walking in difficult conditions such as mud and rocks. Toe box runs a little small.

I bought this shoe for walking and light hiking. So far so good. I don't know if these shoes are supposed to help with posture, but I find myself standing up straighter with shoulders back when I'm wearing them. I often wear a 7.5, but went down to a 7.0 Hoka due to my narrow foot. I hope at some point Hoka will offer narrow sizes! :) Very pleased overall -- will purchase again.

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box! 10 hour work days on my feet were no problem with these shoes. Was looking for waterproof hiking shoes and these fit the bill perfectly.

I typically buy the mid as I have problems with my ankles. This has the same cushioning and foot support.

Extremely comfortable walking/hiking sneaker. The vibram soles are slid resistant keeping you upright on the steepest and sloppiest inclines. The gortex waterproofing keeps your feet dry and protected in the wettest of climates. Perfect shoe for walking in Ireland.

I keep thinking I need "serious" hiking boots, but I just keep reaching for my Hoka trail sneakers. We live in CO in a house that backs up to the National Forest with miles of trails. These shoes really do the job. I love their running shoes and I had a feeling that the trail runners would be just as comfortable. I was not disappointed. My husband now wants to try them...and he's a hiking snob!

From the first hike these shoes have been super comfortable and have great grip on those rocky hills. I have, for the past ten years, been very loyal to another brand, we have now officially broken up and I have moved on!! Love my Hoka hikers

Wearing for work to help break them in for my upcoming trip to Iceland. They're comfortable, to the point where I'm finding ways to put more steps in (which I'd have to force myself to before due to poor foot structure and plantar fasciitis). Light and not hot at all in the summer, even with the goretex.

Super happy with my new hokas. Wore them for a full day walking and felt like I was on clouds. Really appreciate the waterproof material and design details of the shoe. Obsessed with them!
