i hike in these all the time. miles and miles. so comfortable and supportive. no blisters. keep my feet dry too! i sized up a half size so i could fit warmer socks in them when it gets colder and it's perfect!

These shoes are great. I was afraid they would be big and bulky, but they totally atenta. They're just a little bulkier than the Bondi 7s I have. They are super sturdy and comfortable. They definitely feel more like a high too tennis shoe than a hiking boot, which is great for me!

I used the Hoka hiking boots throughout Scotland. I don't think I would have survived without them. They were comfortable and incredibly stable.

These are absolutely perfect! I did an 8 mile strenuous/wet hike in Yosemite National Park and these were very comfortable, amazing grip, & kept my feet warm the entire time.

I didn't use because it was narrow, and my toes touches the front of the boot.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
Runs SmallRuns Large
Runs NarrowRuns Wide
Poor SupportGreat Support
Shoe ran a little short. I wear a 9 in most "street" shoes, 9.5 in Hoka Clifton, 10 in Nike Pegasus. I ordered a 9.5 in these (same as my other Hokas) and needed a 10 as my toe almost hit the front of the shoe. Would not have been good for hiking at that length. Otherwise, the shoe is great!

We bought these at the last minute before a hiking trip (my partner bought the men's version) and they were worth EVERY penny and more!!! The grip is unbelievable, they were so comfortable without a single minute of breaking in, the ankle support was amazing, and they were all-around life (and trip) savers. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!

I purchased these for a trip to Alaska coming up in September. I needed comfy water resistant shoes. I have been wearing them during daily routine stuff and they are so comfortable and they do keep my feet dry! Love the color and love the feel.

Me and my boyfriend bought a women shoe and a man shoe, we are very avid hikers and these shoes were great so far. They are true to size do not get a size larger. I got a half size larger because I always wear thick socks. We went on an uphill three mile hike the first day and they were great and very comfortable.

Would buy again...comfort out of the box. Purchased Danner ($$$), Sorel and Timberland boots, some never did elevate to comfort status on my hikes. Moved into Hoka line for running and hiking shoes after some serious discussions with my doc - have been wearing most of the line but find myself returning to the Mach 5 and Clifton 8.

I've only worn them once but it was for a 15 mile hike, and they held up pretty well. I still need to break them in so they were a bit tight at the back of the foot (Achilles area).

I had constant arch pain and my 30 yr old twins told me about Hoka AND blessed me with a Hoka gift certificate! I loved my Cliftons so much, I decided to stop wearing my designer boots and replace them with these beautiful mauve Anakapa hiking boots ... best decision ever ! Plus ... I get so many compliments - everyone wants to buy Hokas!

These are both comfortable and supportive. There is also the wonderful Hoka cushion in them. I wore them around the house for a couple days before wearing them hiking and am happy to say they were great to wear hiking. Very happy with them.

After loving my tennis shoes, i decided to try rhese boots for hiking. Just wore these for the first time on a 2 mile hike. I hike this trail weekly. It's a moderate trail with large rocks, roots, leaves, etc and today it was muddy in places due to heavy rains. These boots were great! The traction held up on all parts of the trail. In places where I'd normally slide, these boots kept my feet firm, and the ankle support was great. Laces stayed tied with a single knot. Although I didn't submerge my foot in water, they did stay dry while trekking through the mud puddles. I could have easily continued hiking as these kept my feet comfortable. If you're not sure what size, definitely measure. I did and got an 8.5 (typically a 8 or 8.5). Fit great and didnt rub my feet. You should wear taller socks bc these come just above the ankles
