Not only are the KAHA GORE TEX the best boots I've ever owned, they are also super comfortable. It's like they've been broken in just for me. I was a little hesitant to order the black iris/blue sapphire, but they look sweet with everything. I'm a super impressed first time Hoka owner & I'll be back!!

I got these boots for hiking. They are extremely lightweight. I have a hard time fitting in shoes, but not these. As soon as I tried them on I fell in love. They fit and already felt broken in. I thought about them all month then finally got them. I always go for function over look, but I got both with these! Cute and functional.

I have used HOKA running shoes for several years and loved them so when I needed a new pair of hiking boots, I switched from Keens to HOKA hiking boots and loved every step! I would highly recommend HOKA anything to everyone!!!

These are second best behind the Hoka Tor Ultra's I own. I really love these boots. I wear them every day even with shorts. The extra support the high-top gives really stabilizes my knees and ankles. I have 4 different colors too. I buy the Men's 9.5 and the Women's 10.5--depending on colors. Hope they have these and/or the Tor Ultras next year too. The more colors they have the more i buy! Yep---I'm a boot junkie.

I wish i would have got the lower cut boots as these pinch the outside portion of my ankle when walking sode hill. I tested these boots out this hunting season and that is my only complaint. If anyone has a suggestion how to lace up these boots so they won't pinch your ankle please let me know. Otherwise these boots kept my feet dry in melting snow and 17 degree weather. I wore toe warmers anytime temp was below 28 degrees and ot worked great in them. I would recommend these boots as they felt great on my feet.

I’m outside on my feet all day in various environments and these are the most comfortable shoes I can spend 14 hours on my feet in. I don’t like the Hoka style and have avoided buying based on the goofy look of the shoe, but nothing beats how comfortable they are. And everyone around me thinks they’re cool, so there you go!

I have many pairs of Hoka running shoes, which are sized at 8.5. So that's what I ordered in the boot. They are HUGE. They're at least a size too large. It's unfortunate, I really wanted them for winter.

I'm using these as a work boots, all indoors, but I've already sent back my first pair (2 months old)after the glue ate away the leather and also a split in the leather..now my new replacement pair (1month) is showing signs of the same thing. Gonna have to send them back as well. So comfortable but what is with that glue that eats leather!? Please change the glue....they are good shoes

I love Hoka running shoes and have owned several different types. I was so excited to hear about the Women's Kaha gtx and couldn't wait to buy them. Boy am I disappointed! When I opened the box I was shocked!! They looked huge!!! I thought they must have mixed up the mens and womens sizing but when I looked at the tag they were correct. My husband actually could fit his size 11 foot in the shoe which amazed me. My usual sizing is a 9 but I always order a half size up in my running shoes for my races. I figured based on my current hiking boot I would do the same and order a half size larger. Even with a thick hiking sock, my foot slipped in the heel and felt lost in toe box. As far as comfort it was difficult to tell because of the fit. I returned them today and haven't decided if I'm going to reorder a smaller size. I'm giving them 2 stars because I read other reviews stating similar issues and maybe with a smaller size I would change my mind.

Unfortunately, this shoe has a very strange fit for a hiking boot. There is so much room in the front of the foot bed that it is unstable and not suitable for down hill hiking. To the point that it is dangerous.

Traction is phenomenal, shoe itself is very comfortable. I got the high-tops for more ankle support, but the cording around the top folds in and is a lot tighter than the shoe itself; they dug hard into my Achilles on both ankles. 3-Day hiking trip in Moab last month, and by the end of the first day, I could barely walk and concerned that my tendons were injured. I was so disappointed because they're so good other than that one design flaw. Glad I brought my old hiking boots and tried these ones out before taking them back packing! Returned them as soon as I got home.

My love for hoka went downhill after experiencing the poor construction of these boots. They really need to retool these. They are very comfortable and lightweight but they didn't come close to having longevity. After 4 hikes the sole started peeling off as did the toe rubber on top. Customer service was great for my return but what a disappointment. I am just glad I didn't give away my old boots.

This shoe was not only uncomfortable for me, I got a cramp in my leg from p trying to get them on and off. I am older and have a terrible back, so maybe it's just me.

I LOVE MY KAHAS. I wore these on a 5-day trek (12-15 miles/day) in Chilean Patagonia and I could not have asked for a better boot. I carried a ~30lb pack and the trek was full of steep up/down hill rock-traversing and since Patagonia can have all weather conditions in the span of one day, a lightweight and water-resistant boot was just what I needed. Miraculously, my feet did not hurt at the end of each long day and I had zero blisters (though I did wear silk liners with merino socks), which was not the same fate as my partner (who did not wear Kahas). Comparison to Anacapa Mid: When ordering, I tried the Kahas and Anacapa Mid. The Kahas are much more plush than the Anacapas and provide more ankle support. The Kahas are a hair more heavy, but both are incredibly lightweight. I found that the Anacapas did not feel as supportive (felt much more like a basic running shoe) and that the side of the ankle, which drops down much more than the Kaha, hit in an uncomfortable way that I am not sure I would have gotten used to. Sizing: 5.5 in Kahas / 6.0 in Anacapa Mid. I found that the Kahas run a little wider than the Anacapas. Break-in: They were comfortable right out of the box. Prior to my trek, I wore them a handful of times during rainy errands, as well as a 10-mile day hike. Break-in breeze.

I got these to wear in the winter, the snow, the rain, & the mud, hiking the trails with my dogs. I switched out Hoka's insert for my own merino wool topped one, to make the boots a bit warmer with temps in the single digits & a foot of snow on the ground. I have to say, these are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn, light & plush (even more than my Bondi 8s), yet still very supportive on uneven & rocky ground, & they keep my feet warm & dry in the snow.

I love my Hoka shoes. It will really be great if Hoka makes hiking boots in WIDE too for us who have wide feet. Thank you!

So comfortable, excellent performance. Still plenty of grip after more than 400 miles of use and the waterproofing is holding up pretty well too.

Turns out I do! I'm one of those people who has had the same hiking shoes for 20 years. I finally had enough with the rigid upper on my last pair of a well-known outdoor brand and gifted myself these Hokas after years of running in every Hoka imaginable. I have to say I am so pleasantly surprised. Ended up wearing them not only on a day hike but also in blizzard conditions, in snow shoes, and through slushy puddles and these kept my toes warm and feet happy. Definitely an all-around great boot.

I absolutely love these boots! I've worn mine in pretty much every condition and they truly hold their own. I wish there were more colors such as the men's dune, as I'd buy multiple pairs. I also ordered half a size up!

I use mine on the farm every day taking care of my horses and trekking in the field. I am hoping to hit the trails soon, just haven't had the time. I am using them more like work boots, but that rock. I had a foot surgery and my Hoka's are the only thing that are helping.
