This was my second pair of Nisolo's. I love my first pair of the lace up oxfords, and these looked so cute! I wore them these around the house with socks on to try stretching them out a few times. The first day I wore them out, the leather in lining of the shoe by the toes separated from the sole and bunched up, which should not have happened. I also had major blisters. I had to send them back. Nisolo was great and refunded the money.

After reading all the reviews I broke them in two weeks indoors. Today I decided to wear them for the first time outdoors with no socks and four mins later I was BLEEDING, I had to call my boyfriend to bring me bandaids because I could walk anymore! Yes, they are beautiful but I don't know if it's worth the pain.

When I first received these shoes, I thought they were the perfect oxfords and so chic. Unfortunately, after only two months the heel part of the open side slip has come out of its socket. I've barely worn these shoes, so I know it wasn't caused by deterioration over time or being rough on them. I didn't expect it to deteriorate so suddenly especially after paying such a hefty price for these shoes! I'm very disappointed in the quality of the shoes.

Was tight overall and especially in the width - I could see my toe outline stretching to the point that it was over the edge of the shoe. I would suggest sizing up unless you have very narrow feet. Sadly returning mine instead, dont want to deal with the hassle of waiting for another pair.

I love the look of these shoes! And I've gotten several compliments when wearing them. But I'd only worn them a handful of times and the rubber cap sole has already worn away into the leather. It's frustrating to only have a shoe for a couple months before it needs repair - usually I only need to take shoes in after a year or two. Unfortunately, because of this quality issue, I don't think they are worth the money.

I really wanted to like these shoes. On the website they look very cute, but on me they just dont work. My feet are wide, so they were pretty painful to break in and when they did eventually break them in you could see my toes through them. Overall theyre way too narrow.

I was really looking forward to having these shoes as a staple in my closet. Unfortunately, these did not live up due to their poor quality. Light wear and no rigorous activities, just class. They have already deteriorated so much in under 5 months, I would compare these to forever 21 quality. I love the ethics this company stands for, but the quality is not there so wont be buying from this company again.

These flats are professional and stylish; however, they will leave your heals bloody and in pain. I *thought* these shoes fit perfectly when I tried them on at home. I know all shoes need to be broken in, so I wore these out on a day when I only need to walk to and from a location for a total of 5 blocks. Literally, 5 blocks, that is it! This picture shows where the shoes rubbed against my heal and are covered in blood (apologies, totally gross, but my heals are still in so much pain that I felt like I really should leave a review). A little bitter that I wasted so much money on a pair of shoes that will just be a fixture on my shoe rack.

These are by far the most uncomfortable shoes Ive ever worn. I cant even go an hour without taking them off. Quite sad for the price.

These are great looking shoes, but Nisolo's sizing is inconsistent. My chelsea boots are too tight, and these have my heel slipping even with heel stays. Since I have added, those I can't exchange them, but they still slip, so I can't wear them out. Fancy house shoes I guess.

I have tried to break tho show size 7.5 They make excessive noise when I walk through our office and halls. I would prefer to return them at this point. Ive only worn them twice and both times I had to take them off due to the noise complaints. Am I able to return them after letting them sit in the closet for 2 months?

I ordered the brown color and loved it so much and a month later decided to order the black. Wore it the first day and it was good but started to feel loose during the day. The next day I wore socks to try to make it fit perfect without my heels sliding it but it only got worse. The brown ones havent given me any issues and are perfect. I reached out to customer service and explained my issue and even sent pictures of both shoes to show the sizes where the same, but they pretty much said theres nothing that can be done since I wore it and I can try to sell it on Poshmark. This is ridiculous and pretty upsetting since I really liked the shoes and cant wear the black ones. Because of the style, its not manageable because the sides are open and my heel keeps sliding out. Very disappointed with the customer service.

No email email confirming they received my package or update on timeline. So I called them and all I got was a vague estimate of 10-15 business days which means I could be waiting up to 3 more weeks. I really like the shoes but this is getting ridiculous. I feel like Im in 1980 ordering from a catalogue...

I would size up. I had to return because they were too too small. I was going to exchange for a larger size. However, after seeing the actually craftsmanship of the shoe I was disappointed in the quality.

I ordered half a size up like reviews said. My feet were slipping out. So I exchanged for my normal size. SO TIGHT. So uncomfortable. Returned immediately

These are super cute, but wearing them is hell. Blistabloc, heel grips, and cushions were no match for the back of these shoes. Ouch!

As an FYI to all I bought these shoes well over a year ago (might even have been two years ago but i'm too lazy to look), and these never got more flexible. Heel still stiff as a board--still can only wear in short intervals or with pads on them. It's strange, because some of their shoes do break in beautifully (i have an old pair of heels that are no longer sold that are my daily work wear), but most of them do not. i own several pairs of shoes from Nisolo--only that heel and an open strapped sandal dont hurt.

I'm not sure why I am being prompted to review these because I returned them. They fit oddly on my feet.

I bought these less than a year ago and have worn once a week so I feel like I have a lot of experience to write a qualified review. I have 8 pairs of nisolos so I also feel I am experienced with the brand. These are beautiful. Feel free to buy them if you feel the price is worth 3 months of wear and then be prepared to toss them. They dont last. Within one month of wear I had to replace the heel I wore out the original heel. I also added new tread because I was wearing through it. So my $188 shoes cost me $55 in maintainance. The bottom liner also came unglued. It flaps around inside my shoe every time I wear. Back to the cobbler to have it re-glued. Then they started to stretch. The back heel stretched backwards so that my heel was sitting behind the original heel base. When I walk my foot slides forward and I effectively have leather flip-flops. They are basically unwearable in less than a year. I would expect quality leather shoes to last years with care and maintenance. I have done both and these are still little more than trash. Extremely disappointed.

I wqs very excoted about the shoes, but they were sent to me damaged. The sole was ripped away from the rest of the shoe. I sent a picture to customer service. They provided me a return label, but this meant I was out of a pair of shoes and had to find the time to get to a shipping store. All things I was trying to avoid by buying a high quality product online. Overall this experience was very disapointing and inconvenient.

I bought these shoes a few years ago and have loved them - but they took a LONG time to break in (many blisters). Now ... I have the opposite issue: the shoes are SO stretched out they fly off my feet as I walk! I asked for help and the Nisolo team suggested heel inserts? I was surprised by this as I expected them to stand by their product.
