I have wide feet, and I inquired with customer service about the fit/ sizing on these beauties, I was told to just size up. The shoe was still 1/2 too narrow :( ... dont waste your money shipping them back if you have wide feet!

After 3-4 hours of my first wear, the sole/lining bunched up. Your staff offered a $20.00 credit. That entailed me taking the shoes to be repaired. Doesnt seem like a fair solution

Ordered these in a 40, and they were too big. Ordered in a 39, seemed to fit, but they chewed up my heels on the first wear. I'm still wearing bandaids with other shoes! Will try wearing them around the house with socks to break them in, but a bit of a bummer after so many reviews raving about comfort!

Beautiful! But uncomfortable to wear.

I bought the Emma d'Orsay for the appearance of the shoe, and am very happy with how it looks. Unfortunately, I had some fit issues, with the fit feeling about a full size smaller than the other Oxford shoes I had purchased from Nisolo. In addition, the shoe squeaks when I walk - which is very apparent at work. I enjoy the way the shoe looks a lot - and it goes great with a lot of outfits. However, I have to wear it on days when I don't anticipate a lot of walking due to the size and squeaking issues.

Too narrow (and my foot can fit into almost any shoe). Great arch support. I bought the Nisolo ankle bootie and that style is wonderful. This Oxford was just meh.

I really wanted to love these shoes. After sizing down from a 8-7.5 they were too big for me in the ankle. These really are lovely shoes though

At first, I was in love with these shoes. Once they were broken in, they were great, absolutely beautiful, comfy even. Until less than a week later of gentle use out and about, and the leather upper began to peel and leave ugly splotches of pale leather showing through. The photo shows the beginning -- it's worse now, just a day later. On top of that, the inside at my toes has begun to pull out. I have literally not worn them outside for a full week yet. Super disappointed by how rapidly these seem to be deteriorating. I've treated them with utmost care because I had wanted these to be a sustainable purchase that would last me for several years. Now I doubt they'll last half a season.

I purchased these in May of 2019 and had to discard them by the end of that year. I did everything I was supposed to treated them with leather conditioner and a buffing brush, kept them in a dust bag, used cedar shoe trees, didnt wear them two days in a row, etc. Still, they were falling apart within months the heel peeling off, the shoe so stretched out that it slipped off at every step. When I first ordered it, the fit was so tight that my toes hurt and it stretched comfortably over time and then eventually stretched so much that I couldnt wear it without nearly tripping. Im so disappointed because I loved the look of these shoes so much and got compliments on them constantly. I barely make a living wage in my city and wanted to save up to invest in shoes that were beautiful and long lasting, and now I feel I made a huge mistake. I hope that this review posts, since I have tried to review this shoe before and it was not posted despite my verification.

Thats why I wish they had lasted. I did everything I could I cleaned them often, polished them with the products sold at Nisolo, and put cedar shoe trees in them. I still had to toss them in under a year. I was so, so disappointed at that because I wanted to spend my money on a product from a company that aligned with my values and something high-quality that would last. I was saddened when they stretched out and began to slip off my heels with every step, and when the soles wore down incredibly quickly. If I purchased these anew again I would certainly take the added step of having a cobbler add rubber soles. I still think they should have lasted longer without.

One shoe was great and the other was of lesser leather quality and seemed to be put together asymmetric to the other shoe. I sent them back, would have loved them if both shoes were of same quality and craftsmanship.

Ordered the same size I have Chelsea boots in and these seem loose in the heel. Love the look of the shoe but unsure if adding heel stays will do the job

So pretty but hurt my heels

These shoes look great and seem to be of high quality. They are, however, the most uncomfortable blocks of misery I have ever put on my feet. I'm trying to slowly break them in by wearing them in increments and with socks on. So far, no luck. They're stiff and thick and relentlessly cut into the tops of my feet. I have red places on my mid-foot and 3 of my toes. My toes are squeezed in and they push on my heel. There's absolutely no give - just stiff, thick leather with a scarily slippery sole. I walk tentatively in them so I don't simultaneously hurt my feet and slip and fall. I'm not sure I can do it. An expensive mistake.

I was very excited about these and finally wore them outside (the prior several months after purchasing I had worn them for events inside buildings) for a total of three days. This led to the heels wearing down quite heavily, along with the soles. I reached out to customer service and they offered to replace the heels, since they disagreed that the soles needed replacing as well... but upon return, the replaced heels were mismatched, which is a bit disappointing given how expensive the shoes initially are. I don't think shoes that are this expensive should wear out so quickly, or at least there should be a warning that they are only meant to be worn inside. The style is great, it would just be nice if they were made to walk in outside in typical situations, given the price. I recommend that anyone purchasing these shoes at a minimum find a cobbler to place rubber soles on them ASAP, although I don't know why the company doesn't just automatically do this if there's a tendency for premature wear-and-tear.

I wanted so badly to keep these shoes as I loved the style and the craftsmanship was really good. HOWEVER, these shoes are NOT made for wide feet. I sadly had to return these. It would be fantastic if these (or any Nisolo) came in wide.

I received these yesterday. The top and inside of the shoe seemed to be of a high quality. The shoe itself is stylish though larger and more corporate than I expected. In briefly trying them on in my living room, my heel kept slipping out of the shoe, even as my toes pinched in the toebox. There would be no way for me to size down in these shoes. Before trying them on, I noted slight scuff marks and lines on both soles...out of the box. I literally returned these shoes an hour after receiving them. Disappointing.

These shoes are gorgeous leather all around and I was so excited when the brandy color was back in stock, however, upon immediately stepping into these shoes I had a hot spot on both heels, that I knew once in motion would provide horrible blisters, and hot spots over my outer toes. I read the instructions to wear a few hours a day on carpet with socks to attempt to break in, but I didn't want to ruin the shoe for someone else, so regrettably put back in the box to return immediately. I do have slightly narrow heels / feet and can't imagine breaking these in, as they'd only stretch and rub more. Perhaps if they stood behind a trial wear period as well, like other brands that back up even after wear, I would give these a try. So sorry to miss out on a gorgeous and modern take on the loafer.

These shoes are wayyyy too narrow in the heel - they pinch the base of my heel. I've never had this problem with shoes before, but I can tell that if I wore these they would cause blisters instantly. I will be returning these.
