Love the look, feel a little loose.

I typically wear size 8, between 38-39 so I ordered size 8. I wore it for the first time yesterday and got a ton of compliments. The width of the shoe was great and the height was perfect. However, I had to change shoes by the end of the day because of the blisters on the back of my foot. It rubbed the skin off on the back. Hopefully with more breaking in, the shoes will be less painful. I'm optimistic!

These were one of my first Nisolo purchases! I am a huge fan of these chic little shoes. They work well for spring, summer and fall, and go with virtually anything. My one complaint is that they do stretch out quite a bit, which is the nature of leather, but I'm afraid they will soon be unwearable. Also, the material at the toes inside is beginning to scrunch up inside. Otherwise, these are the best, and so comfortable!

I have three pairs of these shoes; one pair is size 7.5 and two pairs sized 8 (my normal size). Let me start by saying that the craftsmanship is top-notch. Beautiful work. What could make these shoes stand out is to improve the fit. They feel narrow and I don’t have wide feet. They feel also a half size larger; I’m normally a size 8-8.5 but I bought a 7.5. The problem with these shoes is that they lack arch support and they don’t have removable insoles. So to improve the arch support I have to add an orthotic on top of their insoles, which then creates a tighter fit. Then I purchased size 8 (my normal size). The heels fit wide so my heels are loose and they come out of the shoes. I added heel pads and metatarsal support to improve support, fit, and prevent my heels from lifting, which sort of works. All in all, I have to modify them so much to make them fit well. If you want beautifully crafted shoes that are short on mindfully tailored comfort and fit, then these are the shoes.

I pretty reliably wear an 8 but it was too tight. They are very stiff so even just trying the shoe on was tough and once it was on, it hurt to even stand! I expected based on the price that they would be a soft, nice leather, but even if the size were right I can’t imagine they’d be comfortable!

The fit was great but there was a flaw in the leather on the left shoe.

I'm usually a size 6 in Clarks and other flats but these shoes were very stuff and too small for my feet. They are so beautiful so I'm debating about sizing up a half size to see if that changes the feel but stiff is stiff so we'll see.

Cute on the foot, but would be much more attractive if the heel was just 1/2" higher. I felt the lines of the shoe were a bit awkward with how flat it was. Ran small.

I want to support Nisolo but Ive had trouble with them. The sizing is incredibly inconsistent. Though shipping is often free, Ive had so many sizing issues with the different styles that the handling fees add up. In this shoe specifically, its very narrow and though Im reliably a 6.5, I would have had to size up to an 8 even though I thought Id finally figured out Im a 7.5 in Nisolo. I sent these back without exchanging bc there were also obvious signs of wear.

Excellent and soft leather. Unfortunately, the size I ordered was too big and the size I needed was sold out.

I was disappointed to find these are too narrow for my foot. They are beautiful to look at, but no amount of breaking in would help.

I don't know how long it will take these to feel comfortable. I've been walking around in them in the house but they are beautiful shoes and I appreciate Nisolo's mission.

I've worn leather shoes before so I understand the break in period, and I am a small/true size 10 with a narrow foot so I wear sized 9 sandals. I bought a size 10, and I can hardly even get my foot into them! So sad. I am actually afraid the 11's would be too small. I've never worn a size 11 in my life, so after reading the reviews on getting a half size down, I figured the 10's would be too big if anything. Yikes, I am quite disappointed after reading the chart sizes, reviews, etc, and now I've got to figure out how to return/exchange (for the $6 charge...ugh...I mean, after paying this much for shoes thats a hard pill to swallow...) :( Beautiful shoes though, I so hope I can find a size that fits!

I purchased these in a 9.5 as the 10 felt a tad loose, and with the expertise of the store employee, he suggested I go with the 9.5 so it's snug. I noted a pair of sandals I had I purchased my true size but they got loose VERY quick and didn't want the same thing to happen again. He said after a few wears they would start to mold. But holy hell, my feet were wrecked after one day of these. I had blisters and rubbed the skin off on both my heals to the point I couldn't get my foot back in the shoe. I am hoping the shoe shapers will help push the shoe out a little so I may wear them comfortably. They are gorgeous and I would love to wear them more but I walk a bit to get to work and can't have hurt feet for a week.

And not in a good way. The shoes take a while to break in. First time on, I made the mistake of wearing them to the office and hobbled home with my feet screaming. Second time on was around the house with a pair of socks on. That seems to make it better, but like several others, I think these run a 1/2 size small. Fingers crossed that the leather really loosens up and I can make this pair work. That said, the leather and shoes themselves are beautiful - but for the price (and pain to my feet), I wish I knew whether I've bought the right size (or not and have to write them off.)

These look adorable, but they run very narrow. I find them pretty uncomfortable. They are fine for walking around the office (what I bought them for), but I won't be wearing for anything else.

These are insanely cute, but the sizing is pretty far off. I ordered my normal size 7, and the cute of the two shoes was different, so one dug deeply into my heel. The second size 7 I ordered was far too tight. The next size was a 7.5 and honestly it still feels too tight to wear. Reading other reviews, I'm crossing my fingers the loosen up quickly, but for now I'm just wearing them around the house.

Beautiful shoes; I just wish they were made in an 11!!

These are lovely, comfy, put-together looking shoes and I will want to walk around in them A LOT. The soft, suede soles are pretty right out of the box, but I'd really rather have shoes that can take some some wear and weather. I love them so I brought them to the cobbler to have thin sole protectors put on, but I wish I didn't need to swallow the added expense for my brand new fancy shoes.

I wanted this shoe to be perfect so bad. Love Nisolo's quality, and I love love love this design. I am between an 8-8.5 and ordered the 8 as recommended. It was *super* painful to keep them on. The shoe was bulging and pinching at multiple spots, and I could barely walk. But they said they'd stretch and to keep trying, so I kept them and wore them for around 20 minutes at a time at home for over a week. They stretched *a little* but still seemed impossible to wear. So I swapped them for the 8.5 and thought I got my perfect shoe! They were still pretty snug and gave me pretty bad blisters for the first week, but since I knew they'd stretch I left the house with them confident they'd work out. I've now had them for over a month and I swear they continue to stretch every day?! I can barely keep them on now, they flop when I walk, and there are gaps all over the heel, top, and the sides. I've ordered inserts, because I still love them and want to continue to try to wear them (there's no way I could return them now that I've worn them outside the house for a month), but I can't believe there was so much range between the two sizes and that they stretch the way they have. It's a beautiful but tough design that has to work pretty much perfectly with your foot. I hope you all have the perfect sized feet, because then you'll have the perfect shoe I wanted!
