This purchase was my second pair of Scuffs. I should have returned immediately but am doing so now, five months later. They are uncomfortably wide, offer no arch support. Pair number one was perfect; great fit and comfort. Replaced because they were very worn after two years years of daily use. Pair number two exhibited poor quality control. Very disappointing.

They look so cute in the catalog and online, and I need a light colored sole for indoors, but these are shapeless. And for my foot (wide toe narrow heel) I need more of a heel to keep the shoe on the foot. Disappointing I'm sorry to say. I returned them.

I ordered a pair of these to replace my current pair, which literally fell apart after many years. Thos e were the warmest, toastiest comfiest slippers/house shoes! Their replacement arrived today. very disappointing. Not a great fit, but that's OK. The materials are awful - fleece is cheesy and thin (it doesn't even feel like real wool or good imititation fleece) and the felted wool exterior appears thin and of low quality. Sort of in keeping with the recent overall decline in quality of Bean's products. I've been a customer for over 4 decades, but buying less every year as the quality declines.

The whole sole came off both slippers when I washed them. Disaster.( I had some Geisswein slippers for years that I always washed in the machine and they were fine. So assumed these would be too. No way!) Since the insides are wooly they get dirty and need washing. These also pill. So be careful.

These are adorable. I bought two pair. I gave one away, because the heal was not sewn properly, and it would not stay on my foot. I should have returned that pair, but my friend has smaller feet, so it is not an issue. The second pair fit fine, but after a while, the inside liner starts pilling, and it is really uncomfortable to walk barefoot in them. I finally pulled the insole out, and replaced it with one from my tennis shoes, which of course, is not the same. I won't buy another pair. They just do not last like the other slippers.

I usually like LL Bean products a lot, although this is the first shoe/slipper I bought. THis one was a disappointment. THe sole didn't feel solid, it felt like there is a coil in the heel that keeps bouncing into my foot. (Hard to describe.) I need a more solid sole than this one . A very attractive slipper but uncomfortable to walk around my apartment in.

I was so sad because the slippers were as adorable looking as I hoped. Unfortunately, they were too big and were very uncomfortable in the arch. I wore them around for a day hoping I would get used to them, but I didn't. Sorry

I bought these slippers in winter because they were so cute. However, while the design did live up to the picture in terms of how cute they are, I had a difficult time finding a good fit. I had to exchange them and even then they still do not fit right. I often need to wear a thin pair of socks with them in order to get a good fit. They run a half size too big. Plus, the most disturbing feature is the fact that I'm not sure what these slippers are lined with, but they smell horrible. No other pair of slippers I own maintain bad odor like these. TBH, I do not have smelly feet, lol. I find myself having to put powder in these slippers often and/or just avoid wearing them. :-(

I like the look of these slippers but boy are they uncomfortable! Should have believed the other reviewers that were of the same opinion. Planning to return but will need to wait until the virus is gone.

I thought it was just me, until I read the on-line reviews. I expected these slippers to be very comfy, but the arches really hurt my feet (I've never had this issue with other footwear), and the somehow they rub me to the point of discomfort on the inside of my foot. I now try to wear them with socks, but still have the same issue within minutes of putting them on. Next time I'll remember to read the reviews before making a purchase.

These were too wide in the back heel area so with every step my heel flops up and down making them very hard to keep on my feet and walk in even with socks on. Even shuffling my feet was awkward. I had to return them. I do have a slightly narrow foot but was hoping these would work. I have a similar style with the low back in a different brand and those work good for me. Also I did not like the hard sole and lack of insole cushioning. I really liked the red with the butterflies though.

If these slippers came in half sizes and did not have such a rigid arch support they might be fine. I wear a 6.5 shoe. I followed the suggestion to order up in size. The very rigid arch support came in the wrong place and was actually painful to wear...they went back.

Thank God I only have 4 steps in my house ~ I have fallen twice and I am 70 and DON'T FALL! These slippers are made very poorly and I am surprised they cost over $60.00 even though I got $10.00 off. I am sending them back and will never buy slippers from LLBean again. So Disappointed.

The slippers were cute but otherwise they were a big disappointment. They were too short by a few inches. They were stiff & hard to walk in. For the price, I could not justify keeping them.

These scuffs are no match to the original scuffs that Bean made. These are way too wide, too big and are flimsy. Too bad Bean doesn't go back to making the scuffs from many years ago. Why they have to keep changing their products. Clearly the elder scuff was selling well as evidenced by their consistent sell out during the holidays. Very disappointed in the current overall quality of Bean's products these days. And I am a long time customer of over 20 years now.

Slippers are well made and colorful . The fit was a problem for me because I have shallow feet and the scuff was too loose; I almost fell out of the scuffs when walking. The edge of the scuff at the back was in the wrong place and was uncomfortable for me. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

I've bought slippers before from LL Bean, this were not the same quality. Not worth the money they are charging.

When I saw the puffin slippers, I had to have them (despite the fact that I live in poverty). I used my birthday money and bought a pair. They fit very well and had great support - I have bilateral hip replacements and a whole host of medical problems and I need a slipper with support. They were more comfortable than my old Haflinger slippers and I just LOVE the puffins. I bought a second pair because I loved them so much. However, after five months of intermittent wear around the house, the sole began separating. Is it just me, or should slippers last longer than five months of intermittent wear? (I have three other pairs of slippers - so these are not worn every day.). I will post a picture so you can see what I'm talking about. I just love them in every way except they fell apart with light indoor only use in too short a period of time. Please fix this problem LL Bean because you have an otherwise very lovely product here. I don't blame people for wanting to buy them - they are so lovely and plush and supportive. But be prepared to buy 2-3 pairs a year and never wear them outside.

These have what feels like a plastic inner foot arch support under the foam insert. I love the less expensive version of these and thought I was treating myself to an upgrade. Unfortunately the upgrade made these too painful for me to wear after about 3 days. They felt super comfortable at first but then once they started to break in they were unbearable. I bought a pair of LLBean duck boots this winter and they had the same weird arch so I returned them too. If you have boots and they are comfortable for you, then these may be as well.

These scuffs were recommended to me by customer service as the successor of the wonderful Comfort Moc fleece-lined slides of a few years ago, which are no longer available. Those shoes were very comfortable, with substantial rubber soles and proper arch supports, well sized, perfect to don after a winter day out in boots. I could even go outside in them. These Daybreak scuffs, however have very thin flat soles without real arch supports or a raised heel, and the sizing is very strange. The "fleece" is much inferior to the older ones. The "arch supports" in these feel like small hard marbles digging into my foot, the 10 was barely long enough (even though I wear 9.5) but so wide I slipped around in them as if I were wearing the box they came in, even with heavy socks. All in all completely useless to me and even dangerous, so I returned them. I very much hope that LL Bean will bring back those lovely Comfort Moc fleece-lined slides for next winter.

I bought these as a birthday gift for my girlfriend. She thought the cat on top was cute (she has two!) and the color was great. I returned them because they were not comfortable walking in them. The soul in each was way too stiff and made it difficult to walk.

I bought the blue tree frog - size 8. I received them and the arch in the left foot was bigger and higher than the right foot. Uncomfortable. I returned/exchanged them because I thought they were defective. The replacement was the same. The left arch was huge. Must be the whole lot of that one is defective. I kept them hoping it will squash down with wear, but so far, no. They hurt a bit.
