I wear a 9 1/2 so, based on the recommendation, I ordered a 10 in the cute cat design. They were too long and my foot slipped out with every step. I exchanged them for a 9. This time the lip in the back rubbed on my heel each time I took a step. Very disappointed. I will return them and go back to purchasing Dearfoams which are true scuffs.

Loved the look of this slipper for fall with its autumn leaves but the fit is very wide (they would not stay on my feet trying to walk) and they are uncomfortable besides being too wide -- maybe as others said the arch is too hard (?). In any event, returning them as the fit is poor all the way around.

I love these slippers. They are so warm and comfy and very cute! However, for the price, and because they are LL Bean, I expect them to last. And they don't. The upper wears well, but the inset rubber sole comes off from the slipper and starts flapping around. I have glued them multiple times and they just won't hold. I will glue the heel and the toe will come loose. I'm tired of gluing them back together and rather than invest any more money by taking them to a shoe repair person, I guess I'll throw them in the trash. I'm very disappointed because I love them. They really aren't up to the quality that I expect from LL Bean though.

Very cute but, for some reason, they inserted a very hard arch support (incorporated into the footbed), which will feel comfortable to some but unfortunately renders these un-wearable to others like myself. Ouch!!! I wish L.L. Bean would include the strong arch support feature in their item description, as I would've never ordered these had I known. Also, just a heads up, these slippers run very wide and also a bit short: I normally wear a size a 8 (which is the size I ordered) and my toes were bumping against the front. FYI tag states made in China.

These cat slippers made me smile and I was due for a change so I ordered them. The fit was fine (6) but I noticed they were not as well-made as my old LL Bean slippers which I had for 10 years. I regularly washed my old ones and they always came out great. The new ones do not give as much support and the insoles are cheaply made. Very disappointed, especially for the price I paid. I think this is my first negative review for LL Bean!

By default, I always have a pair of LLBean slippers. After my last pair, of 3 years, wore out, I purchased these. There is virtually no cushion under my feet. I can feel the hard sole instead of soft cushion. These are not comfortable. It feels like there is something poking the insoles of my feet :(
Very disappointed!

I've had these slippers, (cat version) for about 9 mo. now. They are so cute, quickly noticed and they put a smile on people's faces. They are comfortable... My quirk is with the lining..... as its a synthetic material, I find that my feet are either hot or cold in them..... the material is hot, making my feet sweat, followed by then getting cold and clammy. The boiled wool outer shell doesn't seem to keep my feet warm, in and of itself. I would tepidly recommend these, and with reservations. I'm going back to Bean's Wicked Good Shearling slippers.

These slippers are comfy, but wear out quickly. I've had two pairs, and they both started getting holes in them at about 6 months. I expect better of L.L. Bean products.

I was pretty excited about these adorable slippers, but they've turned out to be pretty uncomfortable. The felt in the toe is shaped around a hard material, and my toes bump up against it uncomfortably. I kept thinking it would soften up as I broke them in, but I've now worn these slippers for five months, and the toe hasn't softened up at all. Really adorable slippers, but they didn't work for me.

These cute slippers are not as comfy as I had hoped. I am not sure I want to keep them. The length is fine, but they rub a bit and aren't a perfect fit.

Really wanted to like these slippers, but they were too short for my feet. Since they don't come in half sizes, going a size larger would have been way too big. They also had labels sewn on the insides that would have to be removed if you were to wear them without socks.

One was too wide but the other is ok. I couldn't return cause I lost the packing slip and the package. The fabric and color are great.

I asked for these for Christmas and received them in blue/bears. Loved the look. Well constructed. However, for me, the fit and comfort wasn't there. I couldn't walk in them! Back they go.

I bought several pair of these day break scuffs a couple years ago and all of them have a very poorly designed sole. The bottom of the shoe has an inset which after very little wear, comes apart from the shoe itself and is dangerous. I've tripped and almost taken a fall. I've tried to glue the inset back to the shoe and it doesn't work. LL Bean is happy to accept the return but it's more of a hassle after you've worn the shoes several times and then have to return them. I've thrown away three pair of these scuffs. NOW, I have another issue with a pair that I bought last year, just took out of the box to wear as it's very cold here. These have never been worn, they are tight, obviously not true to size and the arch opening is so narrow that you'd have to have flat feet and no arch to wear these. I'll give them to a child as they obviously are not made for women. I wouldn't recommend these.

These are adorable and the fit was as expected. However, they are so incredibly stiff that two days after wearing them around the house, my feet still ache. I am so disappointed to have to return them!! I really hoped they would soften or loosen with a little wear on carpet, but I had to give up long before anything of the sort occurred.

I recently purchased a pair and have returned it. They look cute, however the cushioning on the insole is VERY thin. What little cushioning there is, disappeared after just a few wearings.

Being an owl lover, I had to have the owl design slippers. The description assured me that the wool/fleece upper would be a wonderful fit and feel.
Alas, upon receipt, my arthritic toes did not like the hard shell of the upper enclosure. Back to finding a pair of Haflinger.

I really want to love these slippers. They are so adorable but the fit is awkward.
They are quite small, much smaller than any other footwear I have ordered from LL Bean. They also tend to slip off my feet when I walk.
This is the second pair I ordered, the first was WAY too small and had to be exchanged. This one was just a little too small so I thought it would work but it just doesn't fit my foot right. Unfortunately, I recycled the box so I guess I am keeping them:(

I had a similar pair but this new one didn't fit right. It ran small and the slippers were a bit stiff. I returned it.

This is my third pair. The first two pairs were wonderful.
Unfortunately they have redesigned the slipper in a way that it is now less comfortable. The back part, at the heel, is lower than previously, it barely keeps the slipper on when walking, and rubs as it moves up and down. The older version was more generous and the back was higher, enough to keep it on when walking around and not rubbing.
I bought the owls version, and they're really cute, and the sole is great, indoor outdoor rubber, which is why I ordered another pair, because I can run outside to fill up the bird feeders, for example, without having to put on my boots, but I guess it's just cheaper to use less material, and the result is that they are not as wonderful. Too bad, this will be my last pair.

I got these on sale in October prior to Christmas. I never tried them on until recently. Length wise they fit but the foot area is so loose! Taking a step in them they shift and want to fall right off. There is no way to tighten them. These are a tripping hazzard walking in them, trying to scuffle my feet so they stay on. Natural gait is impossible.
Definitely not the quality I expect from LL Bean!

After 6 wks+ wait, my slippers arrived. I wear a size 9 and these slippers did not touch my foot anywhere. I felt like a kid in my dad's shoes. I tried to walk around and they fell off when I lifted my foot. Definitely a problem with quality control. They were not even comfortable standing still in them. So disappointing! Not the LL Bean I remember.
