I purchased the adorable Racoon style slippers. When they first arrived I felt the arch on the right slipper was a little off than the left slipper. I have high arches and thought that was strange that the padding was uncomfortable on my arch. I was on the fence to return them until my someone threw out the original box. I probably wouldn't have purchased them if I tried them on in the store. I'm still using them but fuss with right arch support every time I put them on. 3 stars because of the arch issue. 5 Stars on Cuteness and warmth.

I purchased these after years of buying another kind (which are no longer available). I loved the others-very thick and comfy insoles and a sturdy felt like exterior. When those became unavailable I tried these hoping they would have a similar fit/feel. They don't at all. While I love the cute pup design, the insoles are hard. I normally wear a
6 1/2 but with the hard insoles the arch does not fit my foot. (The old ones I got didn't really have an archjust squishy softness.

The arch seems to be in the wrong place for me. Size 6 always fits but if there had been a half size I would have tried that. They are cute and cozy...just not as comfortable as I had hoped.

I wear an 8 1/2 D. I followed the instructions for this item which were that 1/2 sizes should order up to the next full size so I bought size 9. I wish I had bought them in a size 8. They were shipped in a shoe box that was shipped in a really big box. I'm keeping them because I only intend to wear them around the house and I intend to wear socks with them to keep the inside of them clean. Even with socks on, these are wide, and a little too long. I've thought about ordering these for about 3 years. I was a little let down by the poor fit.
On the other hand, I like the color and quality of the materials used. They are cute. They make my feet look gigantic, but they are warm which is important with all the wood floors in my house and that was the reason I finally bought them anyway.

I wear a size 8 1/2 in regular shoes so sized up to a 9 as many recommended - what gigantic slippers! They are way too big and quite wide too and I don't have narrow feet, just regular width. I am going to try a size 8 and hope that works as I think they look adorable (raccoons) and seem comfy but at this size they are not going to stay on my feet. As a reference for others, I wear a lot of Clarks and Dansko shoes and am always a size
8 1/2 or 39 metric. Will do updated review when I get the other size.

Purchased the red cat themed slippers. Overall, well made and warm for those cold winter days and nights but just not as comfortable as I had hoped. Something about the sole of the slipper and the padding/lining just didn't provide a lot of cushion. It does the job but compared to my last pair of boiled wool slippers from another company I'm a bit underwhelmed.

Although I chose these indoor slippers for their Racoon Design appeal, I do find that the slippers are a bit clunky. The attempt to give some support to the foot resulted in lumpy bumps on the footpad. Not especially supportive or pleasant to walk on. They are warm enough without socks indoors. Slippers would be better with either a genuine strong arch support or no arch support at all but with firm cushioning in the footpad.

These slippers are great! They look cute and they are very soft. But beware, they have an arch support that is not for everyone. If you don't like Birkenstock, you won't like these. I had to return them, because they put too much pressure on my sole. I really wanted to like them, but they don't work for me!

Just as cute as expected. Wish they came in half sizes- the whole size up is too big to wear barefoot. Mine also have an un comfortable bar in the middle, under the arch. Considered returning, but use them with heavy socks as house shoes, so they work.

I purchased these as a replacement for a previous LL Bean pair of scuff slippers whose sole detached from the upper after about 2 years of winter wear. They were not used year round. I couldn't find the original style in the needed size so opted for these with the doggie decoration when they were on sale. They were purchased months ago and sat in the closet until today. These are definitely shorter in length than the first pair. Whether they'll loosen up a bit as they are worn remains to be seen. A winter pair (it's November) is needed so they aren't being returning, but the heel of the foot is coming out the back and landing on the back lip of the slipper with every step taken. It's rather annoying.

I've been trying to buy these exact slippers for years now, being a real cat fancier. Wouldn't it be cool to wear them with one of my cats on my lap? I also love the colors. A similar style, but plain, from another company in an 8 was a bit too small, so I ordered a 9 this time. Unfortunately, the 9 was too long--I walked out of them. Sigh. These were also too tight across the instep, telling me that if I ordered an 8, they wouldn't fit either. Alas, as I really did want them! I would still recommend them, for someone with a slightly different foot. I'm glad I tried them, but I had to send them back. I suspect that for my weird feet, I'm going to have to actually take them to a shoe store to find slippers that will really fit. These are at least the third pair I've had to send back, from that many reputable companies.

The print on these slippers is adorable. I absolutely love the raccoon pattern. There is also some nice cushioning. I just wish they fit better. The small lip on the heel of the slipper is awkward in that it gives the illusion that it will hold your foot in, but it's too low to actually do that so my foot slides out of the slipper pretty easily but has an uncomfortable factor due to the fact that there is a lip then underneath my heel when it slides. Overall, I find my foot has too much room to move around. I'm a size six and bought a size six, but without really thick socks, these are too wide and too deep. Bummer.

I am going to be returning these, as they have become very "worn-looking" after just wearing them for a couple of weeks. This is a shame. They look cute, and I was excited when they arrived.

The cat on these is adorable. Love it!
The lining on these is odd, though. It is a synthetic fleece. When I first got these, the lining felt and smelled like plastic, and did not breathe at all. I decided to return them, and then decided to try washing the lining gently. The plastic odor went away. I live in Florida and rarely wear socks with slippers, and wore a thin cotton sock for a few days. Then I realized that the arch support was truly minimal; better than memory foam slippers, but barely there. So I added 3/4 arch supports which cover most of the plastic feel of the lining.
The toe box room is good, height and width, as is the instep. The rubber sole is good. And they have a bit of a heel that holds your foot in. Wish they were machine washable.
I would recommend them to cat lovers, but the slipper itself needs too many modifications for me to recommend them as a slipper.

I was delighted by the design of the slippers, but the size was completely wrong for me. I wear 8 1/2 so I ordered the 8 hoping it wouldn't be too small. It was way too large. Couldn't keep it on.
I would love to recommend it for the style but the size issue is puzzling.

These slippers were the correct length, but entirely too narrow. Many comments said they were large. Nope!

I bought a pair of these slippers a few years ago. Loved them, but now need a new pair. However, I can't stand the silly motif on every color and refuse to buy them. I would recommend these to anyone if you bring back the solid colors and get rid of the motif. Please bring back the solid colors!

I bought my usual size with the Labrador, but they were too large and just weren't comfortable. I returned them. May try the moccasin slippers that I bought for my husband. He loves those.

I had ordered the "Green Moose" and "Rustic Blue Bear" scuffs for me and my friend to be opened on Christmas eve for us to wear on Christmas day. Luckily, I opened them to check them out and was so disappointed with the colors. They did not look anything like you see on the website. The blue was a grayish blue and not anything like the bright blue displayed. The green was more of a brownish green and not close to the green displayed. I will be returning them. I just went to the website to enter my review and saw they have two other "Rustic Blue" scuffs - tree frog and sand dollar/starfish. They look just like what was displayed with the bear so beware, they may not be same color as what you will receive. I would caution you to call LLBean to get a better description of the color before you order.

I was very disappointed in these slippers. The appliques were poorly stitched and I had to super glue them on. VERY LITTLE padding. Like walking on cardboard. Quality sure has gone down with all the out sourcing to China.

I've had these slippers about three months now. They are attractive and comfortable. I usually wear them without socks. The nap on the inside has become very matted down. And with occasional natural foot perspiration the insides smell unpleasant. These can only be spot cleaned, which means I am stuck with basically worn out slippers after only three months use.

I love the rubber soles, warm lining and the cute racoon on these slippers. My only warning is please for all that is holy wear these with socks!!! I made the mistake of wearing these toasty things all the time while running around the house without socks and within weeks they smelled so awful! My husband would tell me to "put your feet away!". The blanket I kept on the couch to snuggle with soon smelled like a pickle from being near my feet. I was horrified when I read they were not to be washed. Who makes shoes you cant wash??? When my shoes became so smelly that I could smell them in my sleep I knew what had to be done. I checked reviews where others had successfully washed them and gave it a shot. They are now smelling 90% better after a wash and hopefully I can enjoy them again but this time, wearing socks.

I bought these as a holiday gift for my brother's girlfriend who wears a size 7.5 shoe. Based on the sizing guidelines, it was recommended I size up to an 8. I did and when they came, they were absolutely huge. I wear an 8.5-9 and they were too big for me. Needless to say I was disappointed and when I went to exchange them they were backordered until March. Ended up buying slippers elsewhere.
