Received the tartan kitties design for Christmas, and although they are very cute, they are not comfortable. The footbeds feel like there are arches in them but they are not in the right spot so it ends up being an odd fit. The structure is not very rigid and do not provide much support. Disappointing product for the cost.

I bought these slippers expecting them to live up p to the LLBean brand. I have worn them for just an afternoon and they are already looking worn. The right one has an irregularly sewn heel and sole, making it list to the left. They are not comfortable & I find it difficult to keep on. Definitely a disappointment.

I just received these slippers for Christmas, and while I love the design and how comfortable they are, I did not realize how slippery the soles would be. I wore them for less than an hour and slipped in the kitchen and would have fallen backwards if the kitchen counter hadn't been in the way.
My last pair of Bean slippers lasted me for over 10 years of constant use, and even though the soles of those have worn smooth, they're still safer for me to wear in the kitchen. So, I will continue to wear the new ones on carpeted surfaces, because they really are comfortable and pretty, but I don't want anyone else to fall accidentally.

I saw these(blue/green with Chickadee) slippers in the Catalog and thought they were made for me, until I put them on. The heel slips off constantly and it was hard walking in them that way. I loved the look so much but sadly had to return them.

These are adorable, so I ordered a pair for my mom. She was very pleased with their appearance, but was disappointed with the quality. She wears an 8.5-9 shoe normally, so I ordered her a 9. While the length was ok, they were tight on her big toes and also slid off her feet when she walked around the house. This made me very nervous because she is in her 80s. She is very active, not feeble at all, but I don't want her falling because of the slippers. We were both surprised that there are so many positive reviews. Not what we expected from LL Bean.

I received the package with 2 items in it. The slippers were in a box that was totally destroyed, which means that it was packed that way. It was a gift so I had to buy a plastic box to hold them...and I'm hoping they weren't returns. I'm having to answer whether they fit or not, but because it is a gift, I should have the option of UNKNOWN. Although I don't shop on this site much, I expected more from LL Bean.

I purchased these online and had them sent to the store. They are very cute, ran a little large. I bought 3 pair (2 for Christmas gifts). I could tell that 1 pair was returned - the box was open, all the tissue was out of the slippers and they had dirt and hair on the sole! Not what I would expect for this price for new slippers. Disappointed L.L. Bean doesn't have better quality control when reselling returns!

These are ok slippers. I don't really like the light taupe lining - they look dirty even though they brand new. The sizing is off so I recommend you size up. The photo shows my old LLBean slippers and these new ones stood on end. They are both size 8. These slippers are a good inch shorter than my old size 8's. Overall, a disappointing purchase.

I was looking forward to cosy winter house shoes. I wear a size 9. I do have normal/slim feet. These don't stay on the heel. Ordering a size of half a size smaller would be too small. They are hard and poorly made. Very disappointing.

Not sure what's going on, but the quality of these has changed. Ordered a pair a couple of years ago and those were okay. Always wanted the ombre trees pattern, though, so ordered another pair. Very different! Much shorter (toe hit the front hard) even though same size as before, and not as supportive. They felt smaller and the trim material around the opening felt cheaper as well. Main reason I returned them is there was a hard "joint" in the trim on top that hit my arch. LLB sent a replacement, and those had the same problem, only there was also a VERY hard knot at the back of the opening where it hits your ankle (you know the spotwhere we all get blisters)! And the L and R in the replacement pair felt like two different sizes. Had to return those, too, and won't try again. LLB was good about the replacements/refund, but as it goes with these things, I'd rather have had good scuffs. Don't recommend.

We have bought several of these slippers for the last 6 years but these pair already have a hole in the toe after only 2.5 months of wear. I will try them again but if this happens again we won't be able to keep up our tradition of getting these slippers yearly/bi yearly.

These were so big I couldn't keep them on my feet. I could fit my hand in the slipper along with my foot. Even with socks they were too big, so I had to return them.

They start out well, but maybe six months later they wear out on the sides and the wool just peels off this is my second pair to do this within six months L.L. Bean is a great brand. They should have shoes that last longer than six months.

I don't really understand the hype, and I read a lot of reviews before purchasing these because I wuod not normally spend this much on slippers but needed extra foot support on my wood floors. While the sizing is nice and they do stay on well compared to other slippers, there are a lot of problems. They shed ALOT almost immediately, like wool pieces coming off all the time. I have had these for aboit a month and the inside gets dingy and wears out really fast, and I am wearing socks with them a lot of the time. They are too warm for my liking, but I imagine in some climates that's a great selling point. For the price, the arch support is almost non existent. My final opinion is that I would not purchase them again, they seem to not be a high value slipper for the high price point.

I fell in love with the chickadee motif and was excited when they arrived. Alas, they were far too roomy especially around the heel. In fact, they are ridiculously wide open around the foot. I had 2 other people try them with larger feet and same problem. Sadly, I cannot wear them or gift them so must return.

Have purchased these in the past and ordered the same shoe/same size. Recommendation from LLBean is that half sizes should order up. I am an 8 1/2 and ordered an 8 because 9 sounded too big and 8 is what I've ordered in the past. LLBean must have changed their manufacturing of the slipper because the 8 was very wide and very big. Ordered a replacement at the recommendation of the associate thinking there might have been a mistake in labeling. Both shoes were way too big. Sadly, can't get my favorite cat slippers.

But...bought them a month ago and paid 69.00, already falling apart not good. I usually buy a different slipper but thought I'd give these a try because they are so pretty love that green but they don't last more than a month before falling apart.

These looked like regular slippers, but they are more like clogs. The back doesn't cover your heel and flops off with every step. I guess that's what a "scuff" is. Who knew? I was beguiled by the cute cat photos. Also, the color looks dark blue on the website, but it is really charcoal gray.

I bought a pair a few years ago. They are super cute, but they have always had one annoying problem that nags at me every time I wear them, and today is the day that I just can't take it anymore, so I won't be wearing this pair anymore even though I love the pattern (puppies). The problem is that the fabric behind my heel won't stay up. The shoe fits me, but the back always collapses and makes its way under my heel so I'm walking on an uneven surface (soft insole + elevated chunk of fabric chafing under my heel). I've stretched the fabric to try to keep the fabric out, and it doesn't help for more than a few seconds. The back just falls down again. This makes the fabric go under my heel so that I'm always stepping on it (like when you stick your feet into sneakers without pulling the fabric around the heel out, and you're just crushing that back portion into the insole of the shoe). I usually put them on and then pull the heel way back, but every time I take a step, that back fabric collapses and sneaks it way under my heel, where it chafes and irritates the sole of my heel. It's unbelievably annoying, even though it might sound like a small, petty thing. I don't know if my pair was stitched wrong. Why aren't they a little more open? Why is the mouth of the shoe so much narrower in the back than the area of the heel of the insole? I'm sad to toss these but they're just SO annoying and I've had a hard week where coming home to these slippers was just an extra annoyance every day and I've had it with this week and these slippers! I might buy another pair to see if these just were faulty, but I hate the backs of these slippers and am writing my review to release all these years of pent up annoyance at these slippers. Thank you for reading.

I've worn these for several months now and they have not held up. They are sloppy looking, and collect fuzz and dust. Cute at first but they just haven't held up.
