The band across the top is so painful after wearing them for a little while. It has no stretch at all.

I was given these slippers as a gift. I had another pair that I really loved so I wanted them again. Big mistake. This pair, which were worn exclusively inside, have completely fallen apart. They were purchased almost 2 years ago, but I wear them only in colder months so in reality, these have been on my feet for a total of 11 months, tops. I contacted customer service, sent them the actual slippers, and they told me they looked like "typical wear and tear". The wool is pilling (the rep condescendingly asked if I had washed them, which I have not), holes formed at the toes and in several locations. They became unwearable. Call me crazy, but I think a pair of $80 slippers should last a little longer than a year. The rep asked if I wanted them back or if she should just trash them - I told her to trash them. These are trash. And everyone on here giving positive reviews are going to be back here in a year after theirs fall apart too. I'm terribly disappointed in the quality and the refusal to stand by the product. LL Bean was a company I respected and would buy items from because it was worth the money to have better quality items. But now I see I'm better off just buying somewhere else.

I am sure if you can buy a pair that fit, it would be great. According to your site, if you wear a half size, order up. I did and they were like flip flops. So, I get to return them and pay for shipping! Not fair.

These completely fell apart after a year - fleece is pilled and my toes are poking through the end of them. I called customer service and was told that the warranty only lasts for a year and these were 16 months old. No more llbean lifetime quality guarantee - ended in 2018 per the rep. Guess that's the end of me prioritizing llbean as a site given the cost of the products and the lack of longterm customer loyalty prioritization.

I purchased these clogs and they started to form holes and fall apart after less than a year typical wear inside my house. I contacted customer service one week after the warranty was up and was told that it was my fault that the slippers fell apart and they refused to refund me or send me a new pair. I will not purchase anything from LL Bean again. Their quality has clearly suffered over the years and their customer service is deplorable.

I couldn't walk in them for more than a few minutes because the top of the shoe was so hard it hurt my toes, also they were fairly loose.

I received the slippers in late October and they already have multiple holes in them (after just 3 months of use). Both heels have holes and the outer edges inside. The slippers I had previously lasted 3 years. Overall, it's a waste of money for the poor quality.

The soles are pretty cheap looking & didn’t feel like they’d last very long or provide any traction. Plus, because they’re lined with some synthetic which doesn’t breathe they make your feet too hot. I returned them.

I purchased these clogs and after just a few months, there is noticeable wear both on the back of the heel and on the balls of the feet - the wool has worn almost completely through after not daily use. I am disappointed with the quality of the shoe. As others have noted, I recommend sizing down if you are between sizes. (I originally purchased a size 9 and they were considerably large - I normally wear an 8.5/9 and reordered a 8 which fits well).

Returned this slipper. Size was what I usually order but my toe was hitting the front. It was very stiff and hard to walk in. Would not recommend, they have others that are better.

Yikes. these aren't the LL Bean Wool Slipper Clogs I remember. Fabric (wool?) wore through in a couple spots by the springtime. Cork is falling apart. Either Bean has totally cheaped out on these or they're counterfeit. Bummer, because we've been wearing and loving these since the early 90s.

Very disappointed in these slippers. 'Wool' lining has been shedding since first wearing, foam insole is almost bare in several places and slippers are not warm, but very clammy. Questioning whether there is actually any real wool in them at all.

I really wanted to love these. There's plenty of toe room and the construction seemed good . The size felt right -neither too loose nor too tight. But within thirty minutes of wearing them the edge of the upper had abraded my foot to the point of bleeding. You can see the bloody mark left on the slipper in my photo.

Very disappointed in these as the felted footbed of each clog has significantly worn away after only 13 months of wear. I've had two previous pairs of wool clogs from L.L.Bean that each lasted for about 15 years before I had to replace them!! To return this latest pair, I have to send them back at my expense and wait several weeks for the returns department to make a decision as to whether or not I have a legitimate complaint. Not worth the hassle.

I had these clogs for all of 3 weeks before they were filled with holes in the interior lining. I found them to be very hard and uncomfortable and not made to L.L. Bean's standards. I owned a pair of these clogs in the 90s and loved them. The new version are a total disappointment.

Perfect fit. I have a wide foot and this fit perfectly. I was recommended these kind from my lyme doctor as many lyme patients struggle with pain on the bottom of your feet.

Stunk of chemicals to high heaven! Returned them promptly. What happened to your former great quality LL Bean? It has become a thing of the past. I am no longer a customer of yours.

My wife really likes this style shoe, this is her second pair. However, the soles are off gassing a strong rubber odor that triggers her MCS. The first pair she had, a long time ago, did not off gas like this. These are good shoes but be aware if you have chemical sensitivities these shoes may be a problem.
