I had a pair of slippers from bean that lasted 10 years. They finally fell apart. So I ordered a new pair. The new ones didn't even last 2 years.
Very disappointed!

Comfortable enough but smelled horrible after a few weeks and my feet never smell (wearing socks may have helped)

Positive is it is wool and keeps your feet warm. Negatives are The clog is stiff. I have to curl my toes to keep it on. Going down stairs is a challenge because sometime the clog slips off your foot. I would not buy again but I hate to exchange so I will keep and put up with it.

I love the look of these clogs but they started disintegrating almost immediately. I anticipated a bit of wool pilling but didn't expect that the interior would starting falling apart just a couple weeks into wear. I hope LL Bean can figure out how to make a more sturdy version of these as replacing them so soon is not very sustainable. I've had them for two years but most of the wear occurred in the first six months.

This is my second pair of LL bean clogs, but this one has a different sole than the ones I bought several years back. Those wore like iron. This pair? Not so much. I bought them in February, and it's June now. The inside lining is already splitting and breaking down, which is unacceptable. I only wear them for a few hours in the evenings. I'll be returning them, which is a disappointment.

The clog is comfortable, but...the wool did not wear well. Lots of "fuzz". Also, the wool wore away and the clog has ripped. I do not wear these outside...just around the house. I hate giving a negative review, but I was quite disappointed with these.

I got these slippers last year for Christmas. Have not worn them too often, maybe 3x a week and the foam underneath is starting to show. Love everything about them, just wish they lasted longer.

I returned this slipper. Although well made with quality materials, the fit was sloppy and the sole much too stiff.

These hurt the top of my feet. The soles and bed were comfy but there was no give on the top.

The size was way off. I have always been a size 7 they were more like a size 8 if not larger. I was very disappointed!

I don't typically write bad reviews for LL Bean and have not had a return in about 20 years but these slippers were so painful, I have to comment. Firstly, they are way too big. That didn't bother me too much as long as they didn't slip off. I could deal with a roomy fit, but they were hurting the top of my ankle. I gave them two stars because I noticed that they were quiet around the house and very sturdy. I stumbled a few times which never happens - I didn't fall but had a feeling I eventually would. Then, the front of my toes were slamming into the front of the shoes to where it became so painful I couldn't wear them anymore. I found the receipt and had to make the return. Just didn't work for me.

These are not the same quality as the felt slippers you used to carry some years ago. While the length was perfect, even with heavy socks, the felt part over the top of my foot was very loose. I have normal width feet, but I just swam in these. I was afraid of tripping in them so I sent them back.

Sizing was off. I'm a 7 1/2, ordered an 8. The right slipper was flopping off my foot while the left was just about right, except it rubbed on the top of my foot enough to make a red mark after half a day. I ended up returning them.

I purchased these slippers last January, and while I will give LL Bean props for a warm slipper that has had the sole hold up, the upper wool construction leaves something to be desired. The slippers started pilling almost immediately, and the inner lining began to wear down rapidly. Now the wool is separating, and I have what amounts to holes exposing the inner lining on the slipper. The holes are new, the fuzzy, lumpy exterior started almost immediately - and almost exclusively on the left foot. Slippers were worn Jan - Apr, and left in the closet until October, so this is not daily use for months on end. This is also a pet-free household so damage is not caused by animals. I am disappointed with the quality and don't recommend these to purchase.

Ordered these two months agowith the exception of a sturdy sole, they look like I had them for a couple years. The inside fleece is worn down to the next surface especially at the heel and the upper fleece is not well felted. Lots of pilling! They look like they need a shave. Am a 7.5 and ordered down as there are no half sizes. The fit is fine. I usually buy this clog style from a German competitorthey last for years. I decided to try these because they are less expensive, but learned my lessonvery disappointed! Am a faithful Bean customer but sorry I bought these.

Got them very recently and the wool is already pilling, and coming off at the toes. Wish there was more arch support and that it was a real cork footbed. Don't think they are going to last as well as I had hoped.

I had received these for a gift and they are warm without causing feet to perspire, but the inner lining of the heels wore off very quickly--within 3 mos--and the fit is much too wide even wearing socks with them. Walking up/down stairs requires extra caution in stepping because of the loose fit of the slippers, particularly when not wearing socks with them.

purchased in Sept, didn't really wear until late Dec. the footbed felt/wool has worn off exposing something bright white. i would expect this a few years from now, but not within a few months. too bad b/c i like the look and the firm footbed (that did require an adjustment period, it's firm/stiff like a hiking boot). returning.

I have been buying ll bean slippers for years. I typically alternate between these clog type slippers and the clog ones with fur. I have slippers on daily.
I have always liked the quality and durability of LL Bean that is why I waited for them to come back in stock. This time when I received them they were very stiff and not nearly as comfortable as in the past but, I figured they would 'break in'. Now, only after having them for a little over a month they are pilling(fuzz balls) horribly and look like I have had them for years.
I always would recommend LL Bean slippers prior to this experience. I'm not sure if you are using a different supplier or if your quality standards aren't what they used to be but, I would not recommend these slippers going forward.

Loved these when I first got them. Comfortable, kept my feet cozy, just right but.... within just a few months the insert and heel showed some significant wear. Continued to wear them anyway because of the comfort. A few months later the wool started to wear away at my big toe. Really expected more lasting wear for the brand and price.
