Didn't have these slippers long before they started to fall apart. Not the usual LLBean durability. Returning them and going to shop some place else for slippers.

size issues and unlike my other slipper/slides it will not stay on my foot

Very plush and cozy, but this particular style wouldn't stay on my feet while walking. The back was too low. I'm guessing there is a purpose to this design, but it did not meet my needs. So I returned them in exchange for the model with a backing that goes above my heel. Of course LL Bean makes that very easy!!

Slippers have a very nice soft and warm feeling. The size seems about 1/2 too small, and back of slipper does not stay in place but flops.

I agree with another reviewer who said that these slippers flip and flop all over the place. Because the back of the slipper is cut so low, they won't stay on. It's really an annoyance. I also notice that many of the glowing reviews were written by people who bought them for someone else, NOT by the person who actually had the misfortune of receiving them and wearing them. Be forewarned, while the overall quality is good, they don't and never will fit properly because of the way the back is constructed.
Gift-givers, please don't write reviews for items that YOU haven't had to wear. Those reviews are very misleading.

New Slippers size 11. Size 11 are too big and size 10 would be too small. I need size 10 and 1/2. Big Company like yours with lots of slipper sales. Why do you not offer half sizes so the customer can get the proper fit?

As a woman with very bad feet, I decided to get a men's pair hoping they would be longer and wider than the women's. Alas, the comparable size 10 that I needed (men's 8) was still too short and narrow.

This product is not good for summer time. For years I have purchased a leather slipper, leather lined with in door out door sole. this slipper was too warm for summer wear and could not be worn in winter with socks

These didn't look nice or fit well. I returned them and shopped elsewhere. Sorry, LLBean.

My husband and I both recently purchased a pair of these warm, comfortable slippers. Unfortunately the lining of the heel is wearing out too quickly and is now almost gone.

I have worn LL Bean slippers for several years. This is the first time I have tried scuffs. I am very disappointed in the fit. If I take one step in the scuff the back edge of the scuff folds over and I find myself walking on the folded over edge. It is very uncomfortable and I wonder how long the scuff will last walking on the back edge. I've tried thick socks, thin socks and barefoot but the results are the same. Will not buy them again.

I've been buying these scuffs for 20 years - always the same size (11) and perfect fit. This last order I couldn't get them on (too tight and my heal was landing on the back), so I returned and bought a size larger (12). These fit weird and aren't snug like all my others before. The new design seems to curve up at the toes, whereas the past ones were always flat to the ground. So disappointed. I'll need to find new slippers somewhere else going forward. LL Bean: Please do let me know if you go back to the old design or if you have any older ones available.

The scuffs from 8 years ago were much better. They were better fitting in the toe, and easier to put on.

These have really not worked out at all. They will not stay on my feet as the heel keeps coming loose off back of the slipper. I bought my regular shoe size. I would not recommend them at all and I am planning on returning them.

I've owned a few pairs of these and they have always been my favorites normally lasting for 12 months... However this pair has basically fallen apart with limited indoor only wear in less than 60 days. The inside fur is just falling out in large chunks.

I received the slippers for a Christmas present and when I removed them from the box, there was a very strong odor of mold. I'm not sure if they came from a moldy factory or warehouse. I will be returning them after the holiday.

Disappointed with the complete wearing away of the shearling inside the slipper after a year of occasional use. The leather portion of the slipper is in great shape but the interior completely worn away. NOT the LL Bean quality we know. Disappointed.

I'm so sad about this slipper. I bought one years ago and I loved it! This one, not at all. I am so disappointed in LLBean, the quality went down. It's so thin and narrow. I feel the base and the inside footbed feels cheap and thin. My old one was made way better. This one I feel I like I'm walking on the floor as if the base is hollow and inside no padding/cushion. I'm seriously thinking about returning it. They don't make it in womens anymore without having the fluff around it so there is no alternative. They need to go back to the old materials and maker because this does not stand up to the LLBean name and brand.

This is my second pair in a single year. The build quality of these slippers has completely deteriorated, just like these slippers! They were very comfortable for about a month, and after that I had worn through the inner lining at the heel and under the balls of both my feet. Within the last month, they are noticeably less comfortable, especially if I have to stand around in them for any length of time. I've also worn holes at the tip of both slippers from my big toe! I was willing to give these slippers a second chance, but don't make my mistake. There are plenty of other good quality slippers at this price point.

The slipper heel is deceiving. Your heel doesn't stay in the slipper and "slips out" making it difficult to keep the slipper on and walk normally

I thought that, as a premium scuff, this product would be a very good purchase but it has not lived up to my expectations. The heel of the scuff does not conform to the shape of the foot because there is a rigid rib that goes around the top of the shoe. As a result, the heel of the shoe constantly sags down and I must frequently pull it up to prevent the shoe from tripping me up or falling off. I would not recommend anybody purchasing this item. I thought it would improve over time, but it hasn't.

I ordered these in a size 10, my normal shoe size, and they were far too large in the heel. I exchanged them for a size 9 that were still too large in the heel but tight everywhere else.
There is a strange lip on the heel that it is too short to surround your foot and too tall to step on top of. The end result is a slipper that glides up and down your heel. Very uncomfortable.
