I ordered these slippers for my son for Christmas and they shed brown fur all over my house. I thought it would end after an initial "breaking in" period but the bottom is bald already. I ordered the slippers for the slip proof bottom and rugged sole but I expected the fur to last longer than a few weeks.

I thought these slippers would have at least some arch support but they have none. thus I returned them.

The sole was not for outdoors. The heel and arch were very "lumpy"

They would have been good but the heel is not contoured & therefore slipped off with each step. I ended up buying similar shoe by a competitor -a perfect fit because it had a heel which conformed to the normal shape of a foot.

I have always been pleased with LLBean slippers - but recently bought these for my husband and after a week they started to tear at the seam - so I am returning them for a refund. Perhaps it was defective construction.Sadly no other slippers in his size are available at this time to replace them - so have purchased replacement slippers elsewhere.

Over the years I have purchased three pairs of this slipper. I have always been ecstatic at the comfort, the fit and the warmth they provided. However, to my dismay I recently purchased my fourth pair. I found that the quality of this product has been compromised. It no longer fits in the same way and manner as previously. I have difficulty walking in these current slippers, where as previously I could walk and stand with no problems. The sole is not the same, the heel is not the same, the lining is not the same in other words, this shoe is not the same. I will not purchase it again.

Most things I get from LL Bean are of good quality that is pretty much worth the price. That's not the case here I gave these one star based on a combination of both quality and value. Although they are fairly decent (at best), they aren't worth the price. The lining, while warm enough, feels cheap and the sole is way too stiff. They barely bend with the motion of your foot while you're walking. I'm hoping the soles will loosen up as time goes by so they stop causing the back of the slippers to pull off of my heels as I walk. Thy do this despite the snug fit. The placement of the tag (which clearly states Made in China) inside the right slipper makes it a little uncomfortable when you use them in bare feet. I would tear the tag out, but I'm afraid it would cause damage, or loosen the lining. These would be a fair value at about $25 or so, but their "Made in China" quality only earns them the one star.

I ordered these for my husband based upon years of satisfaction with slippers from LLBean going all the way back to my grandfather. When we opened the box, both my husband & daughter were aghast at the bright orange-color trim on these. I didn't think it could be that bad until they showed me ... and they were right. Simply awful. Hope it was just a bad batch. If not ... ugh!

I like these slippers. I first ordered a size 12 and then I read that these run large. I rec'd the size 12 and they were right, they were too big. I exchanged them for a size 11 which is I feel a bit too small. They look nice, and are very warm. I just wish they fit better.

very poor fit. One slip-on appears to be larger than the other. Both are a very poor fit and keep coming off. Have used Wicked-good Moccasins for years with no problem. Bought two pair of slip-ons and am sorry I did.

I had purchased this exact item several years ago. I was very satisfied with it until this year. The fuzzy lining directly under the heel had worn away over time and they were no longer comfortable to wear. I reordered the same item and was dissatisfied within a week. It was obvious that the same deterioration was going to occur in a much shorter period of time. I returned them.

I bought my first pair July 2010. They seemed to be made well. Last week, I discovered that the uppers on both slippers had started to seperate from the soles. I called LL Bean and they made good on the product as always. When the second pair arrived, I found them to be made of much thinner material. They hardly kept their shape without my feet in them. Quite a change in quality in just eight months. Furthermore, they ran about one whole size larger than marked. They are hard to wear but I will not go throught the replacement process again. A very big disappointment for a long time LL Bean customer. Bottom line, don't buy these slippers.

I wear a 9 1/2 shoe size, as suggested I ordered the next size larger a 10. It is way way to large in length and width. The slipper construction is bulky, not a cozy fit. I would not recommend this item - one size does not fit all. I expected better from LL Bean.

First I ordered a size 8 (my footware collection ranges from 7.5 to 8.5), then tried a size 7. Even in the size 7, the rear half of my foot steps out of the slip-on with every step. In part because I have narrow heels, in part because there is no sidewall support in the footwear and it is too wide and the sole does not bend. Disappointing, because the material and assembly quality seems great and so does the fuzzy lining.

I am a size 11D in most shoes, I first ordered an 11 which fell off my bare feet; I then ordered a size 10 whidh also fell off; I'll try a size nine next and keep my fingers crossed. I really can't rate the product yet; by he way they don't come in half sizes. Once I get a pair that fits I'll probably change my rating.

The overall quality of these slippers is mediocre. The fit between the left and right is dramatic. Although both were marked the same size and the soles were stamped accordingly, the left fit tight and the right fit as though it was at least one size larger or more. I was constantly walking out of the right slipper.

I had trouble walking in these slippers. I have an older pair with a different style sole and they have been much better but are about worn out.

I've had these slippers for a month. The inside bottom lining soon began to bunch up under the forefoot causing a ridge in the lining between the toes & body of the foot, causing uncomfortable pressure. This occurred in both the left & right slipper.

I purchased a pair of Wicked Good Slip-ons on February 6, 2008. The shearling insulation on the heel of both slippers has already worn down to the leather of the heel. It doesn't seem that this should have happened with this quality of slipper. I have purchased many other Wicked Good slippers in the past and this has never happened before. I do not know if this is an isolated incident, but with the experience I have had with this pair, I definitely would not recommend them.
