I bought these for use as a house shoe, now that I work from home. Easily the most comfortable slippers I have owned and they have kept my feet warm in the chilly weather, without being too warm in summer. The hard sole is great for quick trips outside.
The only downside is that, after only six months wear, the sheepskin on one of them developed a split/hole near the heel seam which gradually got bigger (now approx 2 inches after 11 months wear). The other slipper has now also developed a similar problem. A little disappointed in this as, although I wear them daily, I don't abuse them. I will have to get new slippers this winter but will probably opt for a different model this time.

The slips looks comfortable but they are too loose and tends to slide off my feet very easily. The sides are too soft. I have to keep putting the slips back on.

Size was okay but the back of the slipper was much too wide for my ankle. Slipped off and made walking difficult. Returning which is too bad because the style and look was excellent.

In spite of it being a good fit sizewise, the heel constant comes out. At this point it's more a slide than a moccasin.

Big, floppy, and impossible to stay in the shoe because the heal is worthless. CRAPPY HOUSE SHOE

The fit was way off, about a size larger. They were comfortable,, but just huge looking. Also there's no support. Color was correct. Returned for refund.

We USUALLY buy the sheepskin moccasins with the wrap around sole. I thought I would try sonething different. Bad idea. THe sole on this one also had a small heel, it could catch on things when The Olde Marine walked on the rocxks & other uneven ground on his way to the outdoor space where he enjoys Nature. Really NO support on the sides etc. These slippers are not meant for senior citizens whose balance is going. So we went back to the old style & he is happy & I am satisfied because his safety and comfort are uppermost.

Slippers have poor support and integrity for the feet. The walls of the slippers are not firm or supportive and it's very easy to slip sideways and lose footing. Inside support is also weak. I expected much better from LL Bean

I wear these very occasionally. Maybe once per week. All was good until yesterday when my dog stepped on the back and my foot totally blew through the top. They were great otherwise. No coverage under any warranty after a year. Picture tells the story. In my view this is not LL Bean normal quality

Too small. The sewn in label is sharp and uncomfortable on barefoot or foot in sock. What were they thinking? I returned them immediately. Too bad.

I have given these to my husband for several gifts over the years, but this year the size was different. Too large and loose.

I purchased these in December 2018 and my husband loved the fit, they were very comfortable. However, the slippers developed holes in the material less than a year later. Given that he only wore them inside I expected them to last much longer.

Not the quality that I expect from L.L.Bean. Left slipper a full size smaller than right. Brown dye unevenly applied. Top surface cut in leather. All in all, a pair of slippers that should not have been sold.

This slipper is made well and should last for a reasonable amount of time. My specific problem with this slipper is with its cut/pattern. It, like most slippers, only comes in whole sizes. I take a 10 1/2 shoe size. It is always recommended to go to the next full size not to the lower full size. The cut of this slipper is such that the front part width is dimensionally stable by the sole and upper part but the back part is so flexible it actually can expand to that greater than the front part as you walk.It bulges out at the sides as you walk. While the sole is cut narrower in the back, the fabric itself can bow out easily on the side because there is nothing rigid to hold it in place. The feel of this slipper is snug up front but very loose in the back where it slips up and down as I walk. If I go to a size 10, I fear the slipper would be too tight lengthwise. I'm not one to keep returning items unless it is reasonable to do so because of quality. The quality is good. I don't know why they can't make a slipper in half sizes. Reading the other reviews it appears if you wear a whole size the comfort level is great.

I purchased these slippers because I had a previous pair that lasted several years and were of high quality. The price was high, but based on my previous experience I felt it would be worth it. The quality of the slipper has dropped off substantially from my first pair; very disappointed.

I've owned two pairs of slippers like this. On both pairs, the "fuzz" wore away way too quick. Nice and comfy except for the heel and toe area. The manufacturer should boost the fuzz thickness in these particularly high wear areas to make the slippers a truly perfect product especially for the money you are paying!

This is the second pair of these that I have purchased. The first pair was great. But the right one of these is bigger than the left. It caused it to slide to the side causing walking discomfort.

Pros: The product looks decent and is soft on your feet.
I have had 2 issues though:
1. They are sized big - I consistently wear size 9.5 across all shoe brands. I ordered the size 9 slippers. They still have a surprising amount of extra room (essentially are floppy and not fit as this style slipper should).
2. Durability - I was stepping over a cardboard box on the floor and accidentally hit the side of the slipper (near heel on leather part) against a corner of the box as I was coming down - the slipper totally ripped! While certainly this was my fault...I would expect a lot more durability than ripping on such a soft impact. As I looked closer - the leather used to make the slipper is indeed surprisingly thin. Particularly if I compare to my old Ugg slippers.

I did not care for these as the sole was very inflexible. I felt like I was walking with boards on my feet. As soon as I tried them on and walked a few paces, I knew I was going to send them back. I usually love Bean stuff but this was one of the rare occasions I sent something back.

These are all good comfort wise except if I do anything other than sit or shuffle slowly around the house my heal lifts out of the slipper and comes back down half on the ground. They are a good length for me but I believe my foot slides/pivots on the lubricative, inner shearling while pushing forward and my heal goes up and out and swings to one side or the other. These were a gift two years ago and I noticed it then but didn't want to fuss about it. They still flop off at the heal, it is plain annoying and in my opinion a bit unsafe. I would choose a more secure fitting slipper for an older person or if you do more than shuffle. The sole is sturdy but forget going to the wood pile or taking the trash out. 4 stars for materials but 2 stars for overall functionality.

Purchased these for me and returned them the same day. Slippers were way too big for stated size. Seemed like good quality though. Would recommend to buy a size smaller that actual size but I can't because not sure how these run.
