This slipper was just a poor match for my narrow feet. I first ordered the normal size for me, but me heel kept lifting out of it when I walked. I exchanged it for the next size down. The lifting out problem wasn't quite as bad, but it still happened. There was just too much of a gap on the sides of my feet. I'd say that if you have narrow feet, this is not the right slipper for you.

The slippers are, like all L L Bean products, of high quality. My problem is with the sizes that are available. All of L L Bean's slippers for men come in sizes that are too wide for me. My feet are 10 1/2 C. The narrowest for L L Bean slippers is equivalent to a D. I had the experience in the past of ordering a size 11, and discovered that they were uncomforably larger. Hope springs eternal, though, and this time I thought that perhaps I could order a 10 and that the reduced size might make them fit OK. Not so. If you have a narrow foot, L L Bean slippers are not meant for you.

I bought these for my father-in-law. He wears an 11.5 shoe but after reading reviews, decided on 11. That was the right decision; he says they fit great/snug right now, and are not yet completely "broken in." I was a bit disappointed at the appearance. The fabric/top looks a little cheap to me. The lining is nice. Some competitors have been coming in with wonderful alternatives for ultracasual shoes/outdoor slippers to fill that run-out-for-the-paper gap. Hope they last well.

I wear a size 12 1/2. The catalog indicated that I should order the next size larger, so I ordered 13's. They were so sloppy that I couldn't keep them on when just walking around the house. I returned them and ordered a pair of 12's. These are a little snug, but at least they aren't falling off as I walk. If they stretch a little as they age they will be a better fit. Shipping for both pairs was significantly longer than I experienced with previous LL Bean orders.

These slippers are very warm and will keep your feet nice and toasty in the winter. They run small, and as you'll see from other reviews, you should order a size down because they will stretch. I did this, and at first they felt tight but they did stretch and fit me well...for a short time. The problem is that they continued to stretch and now they are too big! I wear a size 8, so I ordered a 7, and now they feel like a size 9. I was willing to deal with this because they are so comfortable, but I noticed that the lining is starting to wear already (I've only had them for a few months), so I will be returning these and trying another style of slipper.

I would not buy these again, but only because of looks, they are old fashioned, but the moccasins were sold out for a Christmas present and my husband needed new slippers. Nothing wrong except style.

I had some shearling lined slippers, but they finally fell apart. These are fairly comfortable, but not really cozy. They'll do for awhile.

These slippers run much larger than the men's Wicked Good moccasins. I am returning them. It is a shame that the slippers do not run true to size. I would only recommend these to a friend if they could try them on before buying them.

My husband has worn this style for years and his complaint is the same with the new pair. The slippers start out very snug and then over time stretch and get too big so that your foot slips out. They don't come in half sizes so it makes the fit difficult. He is fussy about shoes and doesn't usually wear slips ons so it could just be him.

These slippers do not come in half sizes so LL Bean suggests going to the next size. After wearing them for two days that dosent work. They are uncomfortable.

The slippers are comfortable, however, I found that the left slipper was larger than the right slipper. The heal did slip quite a bit. I exchanged them for another pair of LL Bean slippers that are a better fit.

I got these for my husband this Christmas. I was a little disappointed... He says they feel nice but feel like they are going to slip off when he walks around the house. He says it's like the bottoms are too hard.

These are very comfortable and feel great on my foot. Unfortunately they are too long and slip off the back of my heal when I walk. I wear a standard size 12 and have never had a similar problem with regular shoes, so I'm not sure why these don't fit right. Maybe the fluffy lining requires a larger upper than a normal shoe does. Anyway, they don't come in half sizes, and there's no way an 11 will fit me, so I guess I'm out of luck on Bean slippers.

The verdict is still out on these slippers. My husband wears 9.5 and the ad says to order the next size up. Size 10 were at least 1 inch too long. Returned them for a size 9. The 9 is also a bit loose and they flop on the heel. I'm afraid an 8 will be too small. We're undecided whether or not we'll keep these.

I purchased and received a pair of size 11 (my shoe size) "Wicked Good Slip-ons" bedroom slippers. They were way too large, so I exchanged them for a size 10. The size 10, although somewhat better, was still too large; when walking, my heel lifted out of the shoe and sometimes came down sideways on the adjecent material. These also had to be returned. I have concluded that when it comes to shoes and slippers, it is best to buy them at a store where you can try them on before purchase. I will say that this is my only LL Bean purchase that has not worked out. I am very happy with the quality and service LL Bean provides. I will be making my Christmas purchases soon!

The slip-ons fit well and are warm. My ony issue is the inner material. The material 'clumps' under my toes and sort of feels like there is a synthetic carpet in the shoe - I have to constanly re-fit them. I have owned these for about a week and wear them every day (mostly all day as I work from home) and the material is already shedding and the brown inner material also stains my feet (and socks - if you wear them with socks, they are uncomfortable because of the clumping and aren't as warm) - maybe they need to be broken in?. I was hoping for a softer, more woolly feel. FYI - I got the Chocolate color.

seem to run small. Ordered 11s and returned for 10s. Left shoe feels larger than right in both sizes. Great for warmth and feel.

My husband has back problems and wanted a house slipper that would cushion and support him while walking on our hard wood floors. He thought the slippers were warm and cozy, but lacked the cushioning that he needed. He said they were "hard as rocks." He kept them in the mean time, but is still looking for a new pair that fit his needs better.

Shoe does not fit snug which impacts walking. Difficult to simply slip on as shoe does not keep form when at bedside - sides collapse when not wearing. The shoe is warm and comfortable otherwise.

I have a real problem with the size of these slippers. I take 11-1/2 exactly and when I ordered, I chose the next highest size (12) as recommended. The size 12 slippers are really too large and walking with them is like walking with flip-flops. I did a fast exchange for size 11, and these are really tight and uncomfortable. Also, they are made in China and after examining the construction, I think they are somewhat over-priced.

I bought these as a replacement for a 7 year old pair of Bean slippers, and when I put them on and tried to walk across the room, my heel and the shoe's heel parted ways. A previous reviewer writes that the stiffness of the sole is to blame. I can prevent this slippage if I walk and think about walking at the same time, but there are times when I must walk or (Heaven forbid) run and think of other things. Unfortunately, I am going to have to send these back.

My husband likes them however they run big so even with socks on, they flop off his feet. I recommend you buy a 1/2 size smaller.

I had the same problem as tax consultant - the inner seam at the heel tore and could not be repaired. We'll be trying the wicked good moc boots this time.
