I love my new Borealis backpack! It's not too heavy and it doesn't feel too light. Just the perfect weight. I use it for work, meaning I carry my laptop, books and will throw in my headphones, chargers, etc. I have gotten may compliments, and the aesthetics look really nice. I was looking for something that was not too bulky and would still protect my computer, and this is it!!!

Got it as a gift for my Boyfriend. He uses it for school and loves it. Very supportive frame and excellent laptop sleeve. Buy this if you have a work or school device that needs to be protected. I have a similar one for myself and have used it from middle school all the way to college. Lasts forever without looking worn or beat up. Also a stylish and a nice looking backpack.

Wasn't sure what to expect when I got it but immediately started using it as a work bag and it's been amazing. Very comfortable to wear and stylish.

I have enjoyed the pack so far. I had a flight recently and the compression straps work really well to transport on top of my rolling suitcase. I like the front organization compartment for wallet, keys, chargers, etc. I haven't had a chance to take it out on the trail yet, but soon! I'm a wider frame guy, it fits me well. I also like having water bottles on both sides. I usually travel with my Nalgene and my Yeti Rambler.

Terrific backpack! Its has gotten me through the roughest and muddiest days, and has keep all my material and equipment safe from any disasters that its came across. The padding quality is amazing and definitely a step up from my "jester edition" backpack (which, should i say is the reason i stayed with the north face branding). All and all, this a definite got to buy. It has great room, convenient space for laptops, and it has a cool looking design that beats all other backpacks out the water!

It's exactly as advertised, you can fit a lot in it and it will feel light. It hasn't worn out at all and its aesthetically pleasing. It's rained alot lately and even though it does not say water proof, the inside is always completely dry. Best backpack out there, just get it.

Bought this as a gift to replace a many-years-old Borealis and this one is great! Lots of fun pockets.

Love the room and organizational space of this backpack! Only thing that I do t like is the fact that it doesn't sit up straight at all, it always rolls and falls down on its back. But if the bottom of it were a little flatter to help it stand up, it'd be so much nicer to set it down while studying/working!
