The product is very good. It offers a lot of features including a laptop sleeve and accessories pocket. However, the main compartment is too small and the capacity could be increased.

This backpack is an icon among backpacks. As a student, the Borealis offers me myriad features such as a dedicated laptop sleeve and a pocket for my accessories. Additionally is also exceedingly comfortable. When biking around the backpack is evenly distributed on my back and secure. One feature I wish the backpack had would be more space in the main body compartment. Overall, I would recommend this backpack. This backpack is a stylish and all-around good option regardless of occupation.

I think is the perfect backpack for the daily basis. Great for short hikes with light goods.

My first Northface bag, I would buy this bag again. I really like it. I always bought the competitor but quality was lacking. One feature I would love a zipper against the back about 6" long that I can store small items, the competitor bag had this I used it for a small CCW pocket.

This backpack is the perfect size for middle school to high school and beyond. The laptop sleeve is protective and durable. Plenty of pockets and storage.

We took our backpacks on our recent Alaska cruise and couldn't have been happier. Just the right size. We even used them for our carry on luggage. Fit perfectly under the seats.

I bought the backpack for my granddaughter that is in middle school. They have to carry all their books, supplies and lunch all day at school. I was concerned with her body carrying that much weight. I found this backpack to not only be durable but also the best as far as fitting and how you can adjust the straps to fit her body frame. The padding is helpful too. It is a great backpack overall!

Bought this for my son for school but let him use it for a hiking trip and he loved it.

We purchased this backpack for our son who is starting his second year in middle school, a school where there are no lockers and the students have to carry all their supplies with them throughout the day. We purchased another brand last year and it did not stand up to the weight of his school laptop, supplies, and rough use. The adjustable straps help him to redistribute the weight of the pack throughout the day and for his bike ride to/from school. He especially likes the extra outside tie downs which allow him to pack a lunch pack, something that he attached with an unweildy carboner on his previous pack. It is at a higher price point, but I can see this working for him through college and beyond which makes it worth the price.

I've already put a ton of miles on the backpack biking through the state parks on the Panhandle of Florida. The slim design and snug fit make this backpack perfect for navigating through the woods. Highly recommend this bag for everyone.
