I like everything about this duffel except for the size. It is a little small for my needs so I will have to buy another size. I did not do enough research on my end so this has nothing to do with North Face

Just got back from Spain. This is the perfect bag for travel if you're traveling light. Yes, the zippers are stiff, but they loosen up some with use. That said, the bag rides close to your body so you're not bumping into things--that's huge. The bag is comfortable. And, the bag has the most space allowed on planes and yet if fits into overhead storage compartments like a dream. Suggestion: use packing cubes. Only 4 stars because this bag needs a chest strap! I'm having a chest strap made for it, because other than that issue, this is the best bag for travel I've ever had.

Easy to find. Zipper is a little weird opening and closing, almost needs to be broken in. Smaller mesh bag came with it perfect for the small garments. I use this for ski gear and it works well as a duffle or backpack. Holds quite a bit, I might get another

Love the bag. Hate the zipper. I have a of the larger size of this same bag and zippers are the problem with those as well.

As advertised, strong and reliable. I wish the name tag spot wasn't on the top but on the side as sweat while wearing it as a backpack caused the ink to bleed on the label just a knit pick

Overall I am pleased with this bag. I was able to pack a weeks worth of midweight clothes, including tall kayaking boots. It fit easily in the overhead storage bin on the plane. I also like the neutral two-toned camel/brown color I chose. The zipper takes a tiny bit of patience, and the shoulder straps were brutal on bare shoulders.

I use to carry and store clothing and equipment if increment weather is suspected. It would be easier to carry if the side handles were longer like the larger versions.

Bag looks like advertised. Backpack straps aren't too uncomfortable but maybe a little inconvenient when not in use. Would be nice to have a hand strap on the top but I get that it could make wearing annoying. Material feels strong but it can make zipping a little harder

Great for travel. Pretty solid. Just a little stiff but other wise great so far!

Lot of space. Nice design. Resistent. It would be nice to have more external pockets and a long strap outside

Very sturdy so your Toiletries don't get crushed but depending on what you have in there the shape makes it a tad hard to fit everything. Definitely still an awesome travel bag.

Great bag, good size for a quick weekend. No carry handles like the Medium size and up, just hand loops on the side of the bag.

Good durable bag, a bit on the expensive side, It is pretty minimalist in terms of pockets. The straps are my only complaint, they loosen up if you put a heavy load in the bag.

I love using this bag for a few days out of town. I can fit everything I need instead of needing another bag. I also don't have to worry about it getting dirty easily or damaged

Great Durable bag! Love all the color and size options! It was a gift from my mom for my birthday. I love it. I just wish there was an easier way to take off and put on the backpack straps preferably with like a side release buckle or something instead of having to tread the strap through each time.

Great little bag, "slightly" too big to be an official carry on, but I've never had a problem if it wasn't over stuffed. Material is pretty stiff, which I find to be a feature for durability, but my wife considers a bug for ease of use and storage.

Fits nicely into overhead bins and carrys as a backpack comfortably. Simple design not great for compartmentalizing clothes but functions as an original duffle nicely.

Love the bag but hate that they don't have handles to carry the bag comfortably. The backpack handles are too wide to carry with a good grip and the side handles provided are short and useless in my opinion. The backpack straps also do not work well with an over the shoulder style carry and constantly want to slide off your shoulder. I bought a replacement duffel strap and hung it end to end for a over the shoulder carry as I have no use for the back pack straps. Besides that a great bag and a great size.

Perfect for carry on luggage.

Love the simple design. I would give it 4.5 stars but the "stars" won't let me. These were great for a 16 day trip to Norway first time we ever used them. We look forward to using these many more trips. The only thing that could be better is if the back pack straps had a clipping system for quick on and off for flight bag check but easy enough to deal with when needed.

The bag is great the zipper is hard to use.

Bombproof material but not very pliable. Zippers are burly but tend to stick at corners.

Solid and sturdy. I believe that they used to drop these out of airplanes. The overlapping flaps and dense fabric look rainproof. I'm not exactly sure how the backpack straps detatch, and once they are off, how you're supposed to carry it other than by the small handles on the sides. Agree with other reviewers that it needs central carry handles.

Perfect for I'd say no more than 3-4 days depending on weather you're packing for of course. I love it!
