This knapsack is really fine to sport about. The fact that is stands up on its own is quite a plus as well!

I use the backpack for school, and I also had the last version of the Recon that the North Face made as well. Unfortunately, this version has a smaller main compartment for my binders. However, there is an additional pocket in the back for computers. The front storage compartment is very nice. I also have a larger water bottle which does not fit in the side pockets because they are made from a non-stretchable material. The material is appreciated so holes do not form, but I wish they would allow 32 oz water bottles. Overall I would rather buy the old version because of the bigger size and water bottle capacity.

Use it every day for work, fits my laptop perfectly and everything else I need in a daily basis.

Very well designed with easy access to all the small things you to pull out quickly while in the airport. Comfortable even when the bag is full and you need to stand in line for a long time

Very lightweight but looks very durable. Compartments are well designed, positioned and are practical sizes. YKK zippers run smooth and sure! Really appreciate the waist strap plus the cross-chest strap for joining shoulder strapsno more slipping off shoulders for me!

These backpacks are the best. My daughters use them for school. Perfect pockets, durable, cool.

I use it for working at MTA as a conductor . The bag is made for slim and simple items.I put my communiction radio and safety mask that is vacuumed sealed to fit in a little portable pouch . It looks durable using at my job. It looks it will take time for it to loosen up i have loosened all the straps on it but it still tight .

I bought this January 2022 and as of April 2 2022 one of the straps stitching has came undone, padding also seems to have not been unattached to the rest of the padding.It's very inconvenient having to send this back to Texas for review of the damage and be without a backpack for up to 6 weeks! My child will be out of school by then!

My boys love these book bags. They can use them for several years! Will always buy my kids book bags from here. Love all the pockets on the Recon!

Got this for my college son. He is excited! It has so many compartments and pockets, and it can hold his laptop very well.

Bought this as a gift for my husband and he loved it. Great for daily commuter has lots of pockets for laptop, tech accessories, and more. Very roomy but not overly bulky!

I'm about a month into using this backpack every day and I really love it. I use it for work and am planning to continue using it for law school, and it's more than spacious enough for everything I need while having enough specialized pockets for organized storage.

I am absolutely in love with my new North Face backpack. I use it on a daily basis for work and life in general. The quality of the workmanship is unlike any bag I've ever owned. On top of that, it's very comfortable around my shoulders. The amount of storage areas within the bag are perfect along with their locations. My laptop, iPad, note books, pens and all my charging components have plenty of space in their individual compartments.

I purchased this backpack for my husband to use as a carryon for a trip we recently took to Belize. It was the perfect size to put under the seat on the airplane. He loved all the compartments for his laptop, snacks, extra clothing, sunglasses, and water bottle. Being able to wear it on his back while navigating the airport with our checked baggage was perfect. Now I want one!

Use this backpack for school and it's really great. Has enough room for all my materials. It's also very comfortable while wearing it.
