I was in need of a new backpack after trying multiple different bags (3 to be exact) that claimed to be "the best everyday bag" and yet none of them came as advertised. I came across the North Face Recon bag and loved the look and overall flexibility the bag offered for any number of uses. It is the perfect back for day-to-day work to and from the office or to pack up for travel. I am more than happy with this bag and relieved that my search for a quality backpack is finally over. Highly recommend it to anyone who is in the market for a quality bag that can accommodate any number of activities.

Great backpack. Incredibly roomy and great quality. Not too large or bulky, which is great since I am not very tall. I primarily use this to go to the office. Usually take books, papers, computers. Really love all the pockets.

It's excellent for my everyday carry; I can bring it to the office and when I'm going to class. The water bottle pockets are underrated because they can carry my 36 oz no problem. Every pocket in this backpack is so handy, and I love that they use recycled materials to make it. I would recommend it to a friend for sure. I'm really happy with my purchase.

My son in law is always the family pack mule. This wonderful backpack allows him to please everyone. Ipads, phones,extra clothing, diapers,toys, water bottles, and anything else we foist upon him are easily accessible. We all love it and the quality is exceptional.

I bought this as a school backpack for my 2nd grader. It is not very wide, so it didn't work for even a second grader's school materials. It was not wide enough to fit his binder/trapper keeper (do they still call them that??)

I use every day riding my motorcycle to work, and even on the weekends when I get out of the city. By far one of the most practical and convenient backpacks. Not my first North Face, and definitely not my last.

Best back packs I've ever used

I use my Recon for road trips, zoo trips, and traveling. It's the perfect size for all the essentials and gadgets, and room for more. I've never met a North Face backpack I didn't like.

Our son loves it, very sturdy and well constructed.

First of all, Recon is very comfortable. It fits perfectly and carrying weight is almost unfelt. It basically has one big compartment where all the gear goes in, and a few other compartments which are smaller in size and fit small items. Also there's a laptop compartment that is separated from the main compartment. All in all, I like this bag very much

I loved the Recon. It's not too big on the outside and have lots of storage inside. Love Northface

This backpack is sturdy and is a nice size. I bought it for my husband and he really likes it. He had an older version of this backpack and wanted the same one.
