Very stylish and functional. Color combo of black and navy looks sharp. Using for school laptop and books. Holding up and still looks amazing.

This is my backpack for college. It is both durable and protective for my laptop and various books.

My hiigh school senior picked this out for school. He's an athlete and also a good student and was reluctant to change his backpack but loves this one. He's planning to bring it to college next year. He likes the look and all of the pockets. It's very nice quality

I use the bad to work aswell as to travel including airtravel. The bag is very comfortable, roomy for checkin luggage. Would highly recommend the bad for school as well as my daughter used it for few days to her high school.

shoulder strap only lasted one yr. used for school books. Sent for warranty repair and they say it was "miss used"? Marketed as school bag! false advertising! Many have same comment. Not worth $.

This pack is big enough for my 16yo son to take all his books, notebooks and computer to high school. It is HEAVY. Most importantly, his water bottle stays in the side pocket and has not broken through the pocket as it has in all the other backpacks (where it was just netting). There are also lots of zipped pockets that help him keep (not lose) his keys, ID, money and other small things. His twin has had the same pack for 5 years and it is still going strong.

Bag design was average nothing very special or unique about it. Seemed overly bulky and cumbersome for the size and likely use.

Great Backpack. I use it to travel and carry my computer.

Bought this bag for my husband for traveling. Looking forward to many adventures with it.

I am a senior in college and just got the backpack. My favorite feature would be the waist strap! There truly is a difference with it on. I wanted something to ease the pain from my neck and shoulders and this did it. I also love how compact it is. I moved everything my old backpack to this one and it felt light because the volume was much smaller so the inertia was much less. The front pockets may be my only drawback but other than that, it's nice.

Bigger than expected

I use it for college and keep books iPad MacBook and my pouch I for daily use

I really like the size and the upgraded features. There is some string sheikh came loose a week after I bought it bot otherwise such a great purchase

Pretty color and decent size, just miss the old borealis backpacks as this one isn't quite as large.

i love the backpack because it holds everything that i need. i wish it was a tad bit bigger for my laptop.

Huge and comfortable. It gets dirty easily though which isn't great.

Not too big not to small. Great pockers for storing big and small things. I can fit my laptop and still have plenty of room for large items, plus small pockets for easy access. Solid handle for when I travel and am hauling the pack on airplanes. Fits nicely under the seat even when stuffed full. Great color too!

I use my surge backpack for work related travel and love it because it is quite roomy any has plenty of pockets and areas for all the things I need to bring, such as two laptops, books, office supplies, electronic gear, water bottles, etc.

Missing the bungee, seems like it should have come with one since that's part of the brand look.

I use this thing everyday, plenty of room except for the laptop and tablet compartment. I have an iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard, the iPad fits just fine without the keyboard but not so well together.

Didn't come with the bungee. Otherwise exactly what I wanted.

I use the Surge Backpack for school. I love that there is a separate place to store my computer.
