Overall one of the best pair of shoes one could own. Totally comfortable, very stylish, a classic.

My Grandfather wore Allen Edmonds shoes; therefore, I thought they were old men shoes. Wrong, wrong, wrong. My Park Avenues are the best dress shoes that I have ever worn. They require a break in period and will never feel as comfortable as your favorite pair of sneakers. There is a good reason for this. They are not your sneakers. These are serious shoes for men who want to be taken seriously. Take some time and wear them in the comfort of your home before putting them to work, it's worth the wait. Great workmanship, top quality leather, and classic American design are what you get for your money. There are other choices at this price point; however, they cannot match the Park Avenue for sheer presence. My wife loves to see these shoes on my feet almost as much as I like wearing them.

A SHOE THAT IS MADE SO WELL THAT IT IS THE CHOICE OF POLITICIANS , CEO'S AND ALL OF US WHO VALUE OWNING A TRUE CLASSIC. IT WILL NEVER GO OUT OF STYLE AND IT TRULY IS THE MARK OF A WELL DRESSED MAN.

I bought this shoe 12 years ago and have had the shoes recrafted 4 or 5 times. The shoes still feel great and look like new after they come back from recrafting. In between recrafting, I use the Allen Edmunds shoe cream and edge dressing to keep the shoes looking top notch.

black park ave's are my first pair of A.E. shoes purchased 12 years ago. since then I now own 20 pairs of your shoes, all with the same quality and workmenship. I am an officer in a Masonic lodge and I ware a tux 8 times a month, I do not like patent leather shoes so I took my park ave's and spit shined the cap toe to look like patent leather, it holds the mirror like shine for weeks, it only takes a few minuets to reshine the tips when needed. High quality leather makes for high quality shoes, keep it up.

I regularily dance in these shoes, I found that they have changed a lot over the time I have owned them and need to be taken care of with shoe trees, cleaning etc. These shoes are the only ones that have lasted me for more than a year while regularly being danced in. They have retained their shape and the sole is still in great shape. I have since bought a second pair for more regular wear.

Of all my Allen Edmonds shoes, the Park Avenues are my favorites (my wife like the Byrons best, which I just had recrafted by AE)! They mold to your feet and feel custom-made. I work for a large financial institution and meet with potential clients often. I feel "totally dressed" in my AE's and a fine suit. Several clients have asked me about my shoes and it's always a pleasure to say "they're Allen Edmonds; hand-crafted in the USA". They never go out of style and when these wear out (takes a long time!), they will be replaced with, you guessed it, a new pair of AE Park Avenues. On a scale of "10", these are a solid "10". DF

I own two pairs of Park Avenue shoes. I assumed it would take time to break them in but from day one they were some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. The soles and heals have a long wear life and with the use of shoe trees the upper part of the shoes keep their shape. A great American shoe that can be recrafted is well worth the expense and will be my choice in the future.

The Park Avenue shoe is a timeless classic. Stylish, elegant and personifying comfort at it's highest level. The quality of the leather reflects the integrity of the shoe. Treat it with a good maintenance plan the shoes respond accordingly. It is an investment that pays for itself time and time again. Allen did not invent excellent shoes they merely perfected it! Trendsetters not trend followers!

This shoe has a classic and conservative look. A great first pair of business shoes. These shoes match all my suits. The more I wear these shoes the more comfortable they are! Everyone who wears a business shoe should have this in their closet.

Have a pair in the dark brown. 3 months old. Holds a shine extremely well. Breaks in relatively quickly (no blisters). Waxed lases keep the shoe tied all day. I keep them with a shoe tree and creases are kept out for the most part. Highly recommend this shoe.

I've probably owned 3 or 4 pairs of these shoes over the past 30 years. Every pair has been reconditioned by Allen Edmonds at least once to replace the worn soles and heals. I wear them often and walk on concreate alot. I'll buy another pair soon.

I own these in black size 13D. I absolutely love these shoes. The fit is incredible and they become more comfortable each time I wear them. These were the first pair of real dress shoes I purchased. I love them so much that I now own four pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes.

I've owned three pair of the Park Avenue shoes, two of which are currently in daily use. Best shoes I have ever owned, both in black and merlot colors. Current black ones have been rebuilt twice over the course of ten years thrice weekly use (I rotate between the pairs#. Excellent fit right out of the box and they require minimal break in. Interior materials are both luxurious and durable; cork liner #replaced at rebuild) assures comfort on hard floors and sidewalks. Leather takes a high gloss with little effort. These are all I've worn for over fifteen years; I wish I had found them sooner. Their durability far offsets the initial purchase price. Take care of them and they will literally last decades.

The Park Avenue shoe design is the most versatile and classy pair of dress shoes a gentleman will ever own. The simple classy lines of this design will show elegance yet comfortable pair of shoes. I always wear my Park Avenue pair of shoes at least an average of 8-10 hours daily. The craftsmanship is in clear perfection. When you wear it, your feet feels like a you had it custom made. The sole is its best feature- it feels like you are stepping on a cork board. One can walk for several blocks and cannot feel a pebble while walking. In addition, the Park Avenue is very versatile. It looks best with a suit. However, it also looks very well with chinos and jeans. The best thing with the Park Avenue is when you look at it from the top and the side, the shoe body stands as if it was never worn but the leather used is so comfortable to the feet. I truly believe that every gentleman should own a pair of these shoes. Guess what- I own 2 pairs!

I am on my 3rd pair of Park Avenues in 20 years. I love the ageless style and most of all the comfort and fit. This shoe fits like a glove..I will continue to have them re-crafted until I have to purchase a new pair.

I have had the Park Avenue for several years and they are as good as new. These shoes are like WWII jeeps! They never destruct. I even mention this type of shoe in my book "Dress To Impress" as the perfect compliment to a dark suit. The best description is "AN ABSOLUTE CLASSIC"

I bought a pair of these in merlot and one in black. The fit is excellent and the construction is substantial. I have no complaints. If you are looking for a pair of shoes that subtly communicate that you are a person with distinctive taste, this shoe is for you.

I have 16 pairs of llen Edmonds shoes.They wear like iron and the fit is such that I can order a pair on line and get a perfect fit .The Park avenue is a classic look that never goes out of style.

I own several pairs of AE shoes including two Park Avenues (one black, one brown). I have worn each over the past 7 or 8 years (both have been redrafted) on average of once a week. My profession keeps me on my feet 8 to 10 hours a day and comfortable, stylish dress is important to my success. I can not think of any other part of my wardrobe that looks and feels this good after endless wearing. I am about to start a 10 hour day and just put on the black Park Avenues.

Three years in I am happy to report that this pair of AE shoes is still looking and feeling great. Classy business look. High quality leather keeps on looking great even though I travel a great deal and often bang and scuff them. A little TLC is all it takes. I've had other AE shoes/models that I could not recommend, but the Park Ave's get my highest recommendation.

I have two pair of this shoe, one black and the other one Merlot or cordavon. These shoes are timeless classics and fit into any situation. I have even worn them with formal wear when my patent leather shoes were lost in my luggage. They are comfortable to wear for hours even when standing on concrete. The leather is soft, but still holds its shape and takes polish well. I would not hesitate to recommend this shoe.
