These are my second pair of bean boots and I love them. I have a pair of limited edition ones that I purchased two years ago (which are still holding up well) and I just wanted a more original looking pair of bean boots. To me, these boots are worth it because, in my opinion, they look better than the Sperry duck boots, are made better, and are made in America and I try to support American workers as much as I can. Also when you get a pair of these boots you get a full 1-year warranty, I know they use to have a lifetime warranty but honestly, for a pair of shoes, a 1-year warranty is still generous. If you are ordering a pair of these boots follow the size guide, I usually wear a size 8 in Nikes so I ordered a size 7 in both pairs of boots that I own and they fit me perfectly with medium thickness socks. The only thing I can say negatively is that I wished L.L. Bean would bring back the Tan and Navy Bean Boots in the 6-inch height (I ordered the Tan and Navy in the 8-inch height). Where the tongue of the boot is gusseted (sewn into the boot) it makes it a little bit harder for someone like me to fit a larger calf inside the boot. They do fit me I would have just preferred the 6-inch height. Honestly, if you are reading this review right now and are debating whether or not to order these boots go ahead and do so because it's getting close to the time of year when they will start getting back-ordered.

I grew up wearing LLBEAN Winter Boots and lost my last pair 5 yrs ago. When I finally had some "extra" money, I knew the first thing I would and need to get is another pair of the warmest, driest and most comfortable boots to face another NE winter.

These boots are PERFECT! I love them so much that I want to wear them every day! Having to wear AFO's (a type of brace that goes inside one's shoe.) limits the shoes that fit. It was so exciting for me to be able to not only have a new pair of boots, but for them to actually be comfortable! Thank you, L.L. Bean, for making these quality and well-made shoes in a size W!! Keep up the excellent work!

I've been wearing a different brand duck boot for a few years, but decided it was time to invest in the LL Bean boots and I'm so GLAD I did. I love these boots. They fit well, are comfortable and they actually look stylish.

Love these! Originally ordered an 8 that was too big (I typically wear 8s). The 7s are perfect.

I have never left a review for anything in my life, good or bad. These boots are fantastic in any weather! They are warm and comfortable, and there is no need to break them in. Definitely follow the sizing guide. I usually wear a size 7 or 7.5, and the sizing guide said to order a 6 - they fit perfectly. I am required to walk miles in a day, and they have been the only shoes I can comfortably wear with a hip injury! Love them! I have not had any personal experience with this, but the customer service/returns is supposed to be fantastic as well.

These comfy boots are the best boots in the world! I had an identical pair, only a size smaller, that lasted 28 years. They are still wearable, but my foot width changed. They are durable, waterproof and super comfy! They have good support in the arch too. Every person in my entire family has these wonderful boots!

The quality is superior! Listen to the advice for sizing. I wear a 9 1/2 but went with an 8 and they fit perfectly.

Bean boots are a quality boot. I have a 28 year old pair with the gortex lining, and wanted a pair to wear in "warmer" weather. I also ordered the narrow and am very pleased because I have a very narrow foot. I normally wear a 7 and the size is perfect. My 28 year old pair have stood the test of time....could use a re-sole, but 28 years later are still amazing. Thank you Llbean for keeping USA made products.

These boots are great. I knew going in that these wouldn't disappoint, but I just walked through a deep puddle and my feet were completely dry. I have never been so impressed with a shoe's waterproof qualities in my life. Definitely recommend if you live somewhere with a lot of precipitation and wet weather conditions.

I've worn these almost everyday since purchasing! These boots are worth the money. So comfortable and amazing quality! I get compliments daily. This is my first pair of Bean Boots. I've worn Hunter Boots for years now and personally they're just so uncomfortable and I wanted something else. Since buying these I've given away all 3 of my Hunter Boots. These Bean Boots want disappoint and I'll definitely be purchasing more! Make sure to go by the size chart and order a full size down. I normally wear a 7-71/2 and ordered a size 6 (which fit perfect).

Purchased these for my wife for a birding trip in the swamps and coastline of Virginia. They were warm and comfortable from the box. A classic design that has stood the test.

I bought these as a gift for my mom and she absolutely loves them! They were delivered on time and clearly a high-quality product. She wears them everywhere because they're so comfortable and now the rest of my family is looking to buy a pair of their own.

I was surprised at how comfortable these boots are. I wanted a durable boot for working outside in the yard and needed something that could make it through mud and snow but keep my feet dry. These boots are perfect for that and I love that they're made in America. There's even a card in the box to say who made them - thanks Justin!! I originally ordered a size 9, but they were too big so I exchanged for a size 8 and they fit perfectly. Make sure you follow the size guidelines when ordering - they know what they're talking about!

Love my Bean Boots !!!!

I normally wear a 10, but ordered a size 9. I knew because they were real leather, I'd have to break them in. I wore them everyday for about two hours a day for two weeks and then wore them to work all day. They fit perfect, are comfy, stylish and keep your feet dry. This is the ONLY boot to buy.

Gift for my wife who wears 7 narrow so I ordered 6-NN. - Perfect fit. She loves them.

Great boot and fit only issue was the laces were inches too short. Maybe llbean will send me longer ones

I usually wear a size 8 or 8.5, and I'm very glad I read the reviews and size guide and ordered one size down. There is a bit of room in the toe of the boot but the paperwork claims this is for circulation and it doesn't bother me. They fit very well and are clearly well made. I'm so glad I spent the money for these great boots.

I have a pair of Sperry duck boots and I just ordered these during Christmas time. These are by far the best pair of duck boots I've owned. These are so much more high quality. I didn't really have a break in period, and it did take me a little bit to learn how to easily put the boot on since it doesn't have a zipper on the side like my Sperry's. The traction on the bottom is great and my laces never come untied. They are comfortable and definitely water proof. I wear a size 10 no matter what and the advice that they give when ordering on whether to size down or not based on your socks, is very very accurate. I wear medium thickness socks and I still have plenty of room to wiggle my toes in my boot. Overall, I love my Bean Boots and highly recommend them!

I love these boots. My husband purchased a pair last year and he spoke so highly of them that I decided to try a pair. I'm glad that I did.
