I got these boots for a Christmas present and I love them. They are the most comfortable boots I've ever had. The look is very stylish and they look great with everything. I would highly recommend them.

I got my bean boots a couple months ago & have been LOVING them since. I wear a size 6 to 6.5, so I was worried they would be too big. I swapped the insole they came with for spenco insoles which helps fill a little space & adds comfort and support. They have some extra wiggle room, but they stay on fine with thin or thick socks & it's really not a problem. Ideally if they made a smaller size I'd probably take it, but I am so glad these work because they are amazing boots! I live in Wilmington, NC & have worn them walking my puppy in the woods on soggy days, on cold beach walks, & now recently during a freak southern snowstorm & they have been comfortable for walking miles from day one, & only continue to get more comfy as they break in. With thick socks they are warm enough for romping in snow but didn't seem too hot when it was mild in fall. I got them for function but love that they also happen to be considered cute currently. I got the 8 inch because they look a little sleeker than the 6 inch to me. Fabulous boots & thank you for making them llbean! But do consider making them down to a size 5 for us smaller feet ladies?

Purchased these for my wife for Christmas and she loves them. Ordered a half size down and it was a perfect fit. Look great and she wears them all the time!

Bought these for my daughter and she loves them. They fit well and are comfortable with enough room for thicker boot socks if she wishes. So happy that bean boots were available this year.

I love my Bean boots! I get to wear cute fuzzy socks with them to keep my feet warm. Most of my socks peek out of the top of the boots to add a little bit of my personal style to them! Also, when the snow is wet, they keep my feet dry. The boots are pretty tall so I don't really have to worry about snow getting into them either. The laces are kinda stiff but I think they will eventually be easier to tie as they get older (and they will last a lot longer since they are not at flimsy). It is nice to be able to wear the boots loose (without even tying the laces) or I can wear them a little tighter on colder days. I am so glad I can represent my home state quality clothing from all the way over in Illinois! Looking forward to having boots that will last for the rest of my life.

What can I say? Everything from LL Bean is the absolute BEST. Boots well made, comfortable fit, look great on!

I have been waiting a long time to buy these boots because I already had an insulated pair that I found at the outlet store. I was nervous to get them as I'm a size 12 womens and they only go up to 11, but there was plenty of room in the boot for my feet AND super-warm, very thick winter socks. I couldn't be happier with these boots. Fabulous quality and great look. The blue is adorable. AND, UPS messed up the shipping but the customer service at LLBean was fantastic and worked to get the boots to me ASAP.

I was thrilled with these boots. They had quit making this particular boot for a while and I settled with the "rain boot" version but kept my eyes open. I got these for Christmas and they had a personalized card from the person who made them. I wanted to thank them but I am not technology friendly and couldn't figure it out. The tongue is sewed all the way up in these boots which makes it harder to get your foot in but this "seals" the boot from water and snow. It took a little getting use to, but I now can enjoy the same boot I once had in high school and finally had worn them out! Nothing like a Bean boot! So HAPPY.

Boots fit well and kept my feet dry while I was treking in the snow while on vacation. My normal go to shoes are flip flops!

I have eyed the Duck boots for ever. I was very confused if I should have brought a less expensive boot that looked like the Duck boots from LL Bean. I was looking on the website on Black Monday and I was in when it came to ordering the boots. I was very nervous on how they would look and feel. I brought a simpler style from another company and was very disappointed it, sent them right back the next day. I got my Duck boots from LLBean and everyone comes up to me and states I love your boots. They are fantansic and comfortable and durable for the weather. Thank you LL Bean

Got these for my daughter to take with her to college. After seeing so many look alikes, we decided to go with the original, and are so glad we did! She said they are comfortable and sturdy, just what you want in a boot.

Bought these boots for my college granddaughter. These boots are nicely made and good colors. I did have to return to get a smaller size for her. They were easily returned. I'm waiting for the smaller size.

I have been wanting Bean Boots for awhile, I made the purchase and I do not regret it!

These are awesome boots. I ordered them for my 20 year old daughter for Christmas. But, pay attention to the ordering information that suggests ordering down a size. I didn't believe it and ordered her regular size and it was definitely a full size too large.

After buying these boots for three of my college kids in prior years, I decided to give them a try. I'm very pleased with my purchase! I like the heel in them and the fact that they don't come all the way up to my knees. Today I was shopping in the rain and so thankful to be wearing them... my feet were dry and the boots were comfortable enough to wear all day. I typically wear a size 9 shoe. The size 8 Bean boots fit very well. These boots are keepers. Now I want to order a pair for my husband. Note: I also ordered the insertable shearling insoles, but they made the boots so tight I couldn't get them on. So I'll be returning the insoles. Maybe if I had ordered my normal size 9, this wouldn't have been a problem, but everything I read said to order a size down.

Of highest quality and materials. Everyone in the family has a pair now.

Had these boots first over 30 years ago in college, loved them then and still love them. A good comfortable fit, plenty of foot space and toe room. Nice grip on the bottom, prevents slipping. I wear to walk the dog, in the rain, snow and to work. They are versatile enough for all of the above.

I have another pair of winter boots that are a different brand and have an insert to keep me warmer in the winter. These boots, without a liner, are warmer and more comfortable than those boots/any other boots that I've owned.

I have a pair of these I've had several years, and they are so warm (with the Cresta wool socks) and comfortable. I recently ordered two more pairs (one women's, one men's) to give to family members for Christmas. I think this makes nine pairs (not counting a pair of the low-cuts) I've purchased in all for family. Everyone loves them. They do run large, but I don't think they run quite as large as stated, maybe one size but not a size and a half. I usually wear a 7.5M or 8M, and in these a 7M fits very well, but my toes almost reach the end. (I don't have the thumb's width between my toes and the end of the shoe that the enclosed card recommends, but there is a little.) They are very comfortable even wearing them all day. The leather just gets softer over time. I just got the LLB Boot Guard conditioner, and that also softens them a bit while adding protection to the leather. These are great boots that have also become stylish with the young folks the past several years.

Ladies, if your foot is anything like mine, I am a "one size" girl. I am a size 7 and that's it. I can't squeeze into a 6 or 6.5 or "make it work with a 7.5. So, please listen to L.L.Bean and order a size down. I am a size 7 and ordered a size 6, as recommended by the website. My foot fits perfectly and there is still quite some room so I wear camping socks with my boots to fill the extra space and to give my ankles the cushion they need otherwise it can become quite uncomfortable wearing regular ankle socks. Also, thick camping socks keep your feet very warm, especially if you have regular boots and not the insulated ones. I bought a couple pairs from J-Crew and love them. Love these boots! Can't wait till it starts snowing in my neck of the woods so I can wear these more often!

My daughter wanted a pair of these for an upcoming trip to NYC. We are a Florida family so we don't have much in the way of cold weather gear. She normally wears a size 11 and has a somewhat narrow foot so we ordered two sizes to ensure we got a correct fit. She found that the 10 Narrow fit her perfectly. How cool is it that duck boots are offered in narrow sizes! She looks adorable in them and she loves the way they look, too. Plus they will be warm and waterproof for cold and wet NY streets.

I love these bean boots. I've been contemplating purchasing them for a while and finally decided to get them. I've worn them in the snow and my feet were completely warm. I love the look when socks peak out the top and the look of bean boots overall. I definitely recommend sizing down, since these do run large. I usually wear a size 7 in every type of shoe, but in these i got a 6 Medium and they fit perfectly.

Love love love this boot! I've been wearing them since early fall, and now that it's snowing i love them even more. I'm a size 10 and ordered a 9, and they fit great. They're super comfy and i love the tread on the bottom!

If it's any help, I am a women's nike sneaker size 8.5, I ordered a size 7 in these boots and they fit wonderfully with a little extra room to spare! Great Boots!
