I ordered over the phone at the LL Bean store because they did not have the color I wanted. The shoes arrived with no problem and I'm very happy with the product!

I did not imagine that they would be so big, however, they will probably last a long time. I do need to find a 1/2" thick partial insole to raise my ankle bone above the shoe.

The Rubber Moc Boot are made in the USA which is a big plus for me. They are a very fine quality. The only complaint I have is that they are big on me. I ordered the smallest size 6, which is what I wear. I had to insert part of a sock in the toe section of the boot to make them fit me and I have to wear heavier socks. Other wise I am very pleased with them. They come in very handy when I walk the dog every morning and the grass is wet.

I have been unable to find a good quality rubber moc here in London Ontario so I ordered the Bean Moc. It's just what I've been looking for. Excellent quality. But be very careful when you order. When they tell you to order a size smaller they really mean it. I take a size 9 average width so I ordered a size 9 moc. They were huge so I returned them and got a size 8. They're still a bit big but if Iwear them with heavy socks they're fine. Make sure you order at least a full size smaller.

I love these mocs but I cannot get them to fit. They definately need 1/2 sizes! I had to return smaller & larger size.

Really like these rubber mocs. Great in the rain and muddy areas. Clean easily too. The sizing is a bit weird. You need to wear a medium thick sock with these mocs.

I wish there was a "it depends" recommendation. I liked the mocks. While I thought the rubber mocks were very nicely made the odd sizing did not work for me. I sized according to instructions but they were still just a tiny bit short. I was wearing them around the house. I feel a larger size would have been too large. My main problem, and this was with my heavy socks, was the heel slipping. And that was not going to go away with a larger size. I would think it would get worse. I am sending them back with regrets. I wish S&H didn't cost so much or I might have been tempted to try again.

Great shoes for muddy yards or for light snow or rain. Have had the Bean gumshoes for over 20 years and it was time to replace them so I bought these. Do what the other reviews say and order a size down! I didn't and had to return. They are a full size too big even with rather thick socks. They do rub my feet in some spots but I haven't had time to truly break them in. They are what I needed to walk my dogs in the wet grass.

I have had these before and they are great. I ordered the size I usually wear and they were much too big. I have to return them for a smaller size, but since they are only in whole sizes, I hope the size smaller is not too small ??

Love these, HOWEVER, sizing is an issue...even with one size smaller they are still a bit loose...otherwise, PERFECT!

Had a pair years ago and I wonder why it took me so long to buy another when those finally gave out. These are loose fitting and the recommended sizing down is a must but with a thicker sock these are perfect for slipping on to walk the dogs. I can walk right through the puddles and mud with the mocs.

The recommendation for this product was to buy one size smaller than normal. I had pair of rubber mocs of a different brand that were too small so I ordered my regular size. After wearing the LL Bean mocs, I would probably be happier if I had ordered the smaller size

I purchased these and chose the size I typically wear, but when they arrived they were HUGE. I had to return them and exchange for a smaller size. I have not yet received the replacement - I hope these fit better since it has the potential to be a great shoe when the weather is bad. There needs to be some guidelines provided for sizing so you don't have to go back and forth exchaning - that get s expensive.

I'm taking these back to exchange them at an LL Bean store because they are too big (otherwise I'll have to pay $6.50 to return them via the pre-paid shipping label. I'll have to see if they come in half-sizes because I need a 10.5. I bought them because they're easy to take on and off. I haven't really worn them yet to tell you if I'll really enjoy them or not.

I love the look of these boots but the sizing is very frustrating- order 1.5 sizes down without a doubt maybe even a full 2 sizes. If you are a medium foot, order narrow. Luckily, their customer service is good.

These shoes were a bit too heavy for my feet. I wear 10 1/2 narrow, and most manufacturers don't make that size. I will return the shoes because I will not wear them comfortably, but that's because my feet are weird. Other people will find them fine.

I love the mocs, but it was hard to order the right size. I got them because of the rainy weather we get down here. In addition, they are very stiff and will take some breaking in, so don't plan to wear them too long for the first few times.

It's really hard to find this style (rubber bottom, leather top). My last pair (older than my 17 year marriage) were from a company that no longer sells anything like these. I usually wear an 8-1/2, and a size 7 in these fit perfectly. I like the contoured insole. They do slip at the heel, but then I wanted a pair that I could slip in and out of easily without having to tie up every time. And made in the USA? How great is that? Thanks for continuing to carry the classics......

Bought these as a gift but size is on the large size as stated in description. Ended up exchanging for a smaller size and the replacement was perfect. The recipient was most pleased. Very warm, comfortable, and great winter traction.

These shoes run very large. I ordered a pair and, because they are very stiff, they fell off the backs of my feet. I ordered another size smaller and still had the problem. The returns were getting costly, and I was doubtful that they would work for me because of the stiffness. I was disappointed, because they are clearly great shoes and would have been perfect for my wet pastures.

These run large. I normally take an 8.5 so ordered up thinking with socks they would fit. But had to send back for an 8, still some room in them. Unfortunately, that pair came with ripped lace. Back again.

I kept these because I need them, and they are SO cute, but I wear a size 6, and of course, your size 6 is too big. So I will wear them with heavy socks and have put thick heel protectors in the back of them. But they're still too big. Doesn't anyone have my size feet anymore? Many years ago I had these in brown, then the only color, and they fit--so you used to make my size. What happened?

Heavy shoes, but look to be functional for walking anywhere in a heavy rain. Run big. I took a whole size smaller and they fit. There are some rough threads inside so I will wear socks with mine to prevent blisters.
