The best rubber boots for quality and comfort.

These really do run larger than street shoes, so pay attention to the suggested sizing. I normally take a half size in a wide, so ordered 1-1/2 sizes smaller. While the suggested 1-1/2 sizes smaller fit (in wide) it also did not allow enough room for a thick sock for me. I went up to the next full size that's a trifle large, but perfect when worn with a very thick sock. The slider above reads "very wide", but these are really true to width--something that seems to be rare these days. I do find that the ankle height is a little high for me--my ankle bones tend to rub on the edge of the shoe--but not enough to be a problem. With LL Bean's inherent quality, these are an excellent buy, and have been a godsend with the winter we've had thus far in North Carolina. No leaks (and I've walked through an inch of water with them), and no problems.

Very happy with this all weather mud boot. It is durable, warm and comfortable. It was shipped and arrived very fast. I would recommend it.

After receiving my order, I found that the rubber mocs were a size too large. I called for an exchange and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to do. Not only was a replacement at my door within five days but directions to make the return at no cost to me was included. Thanks L.L.Bean!!

They are great, warm and comfortable. Use the suggested sizing as they run full. If you will always be wearing thick, heavy socks you may need to choose your regular shoe size, if not use the sizing chart as they run full and the heel is deep.

Item is very comfortable and works great in the wet weather down here in the south. Be sure to pay attention to recomendations on sizing to avoid problems.

Love the shoes especially with all the wet weather we have had recently. Sizing is tricky. I usually wear an 8 medium and I had to order a 7 narrow and that fits perfect.

Following the size guide for these shoes, I ordered a size and a half down from my regular size. They fit quite well with a thin sock and great with a medium-weight sock. They look fine and are very comfortable. Best of all--they're really waterproof. And I test-drove them in Vancouver rain and mud. Thanks!

I normally wear a 7.5-8 shoe. These run very large. I originally got a 7 & had to return that for a 6. They are on the narrow side so I can't wear them with thick socks. They are comfortable too. But overall, Love my new Bean Boots! Would recommend them to anyone. Now I feel like a true LL Bean fanatic!

I got these for myself--from husband (teehee) for Christmas. Definately follow the sizing instruction. I always wear a 9 wide--no exceptions. I ordered an 8 with a normal width. I am currently wearing them with a thick wool sock. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I have been wearing them around all day. I have waited for years to get these because I am a penny pincher; I am glad I finally did it!! if you have been thinking about it: Doooooo it!! You deserve it:)

These boots are great! They are super light-weight and made extremely well. Just followed the directions regarding choosing the right size and they fit perfect! I use them outside around my horses/animals. I muck the stalls and do all my other "dirty" chores and these rubber mocs have worked out PERFECTLY!! I would highly recommend them for just about any outdoor activity. They stand up to dirt, water, mud, etc. and are extremely comfortable and durable. This was the perfect choice!! I searched in stores and online for more than 3 months looking for a great muck boot... and I found it at L.L. Bean. Definitely would purchase these again!!

Great fit! Go with LL Beans sizing information - I wear a size 8.5 & went with their recommended size 7. Just enough room when wearing with a light weight pair of socks - not too tight or loose.

L.L. Bean has great Customer Service!! My rubber mocs were too big; called Customer Service and had no problem exchanging them; they were very pleasant and helpful. These do run large so order a size smaller. I have ordered from L. L Bean in the past and love their merchandise! Thank L. L. Bean for such great service!! I wear these all winter long outside in the Iowa weather.

I am normally a size 7 1/2 Medium but had to return first pair and downsize to a 7 Narrow in order to ensure a proper fit. Once I got the second pair, the fit and the purpose worked beautifully. I highly recommend this shoe for walking on wet surfaces. The shoes keep my feet and socks dry and me comfortable. Emily

I own 2 pairs. I keep one pair by the front door and the other pair by the back door! Unless the snow is deep they are my year around boots! I wear them to the horse barn hose them off and go to the store. My husband also has a pair! My original pair are 15 yrs old and are still perfect! Yes getting the right size can be tricky, just order a size down!

Love these mocassins even though it took me three trys to get the right size. I normally wear a 10 1/2 to an 11 1/2 medium shoe. Using the special size information I ordered a 9 medium - the width was great but the length was too short. Then I tried a 10 medium - the length was right but the shoes were waaaaay too wide. So, finally, I tried a 10 narrow. Perfect fit and perfect product for all the rain and wintry mix we've had.

I have had these shoes for about three years and they are still going strong. I love them. Slip into them on a rainy day or on a light snow day and you will stay dry and warm all day. While others are stepping around puddles, you will be walking right through! Great for people that have a job that takes them outside too!

THEY RUN A SIZE LARGER THAN YOUR SHOE SIZE, SO I WEAR A6 INSTEAD OF A 7 - 7.5! THEY'RE PERFECT FOR WET, COLD DAYS. I WEAR THEM ALL THE TIME IN THE FALL AND BEFORE THE SNOW COMES. TRULY A GREAT SHOE!

These LLBean boots are replacements for very old favorites. They always keep one dry and comfortable, and look right with classic casual clothes...jeans, khaki pants and heavy sweaters. Follow the directions for sizing as they run large.

We had to return/exchange the first pairs for both my husband and me b/c they were really way too big (even though we had ordered a smaller size for each of us to begin with - we needed to go not only 1 size smaller in length than our ordinary size, but also a size narrower as well). They are really comfortable and easy to slip into. LLC Bean was excellent at making the exchange quickly and with great customer service! We will definitely order again.

Sadly my Bean Duckies purchased in 1994 have worn out & I'm now purchasing a new pair. They are the greatest gardening & muck bootie. Slipping on & off for carrying in firewood or walking on a muddy path or getting the horses into their paddock. Great quality seemingly last forever!

I'm glad I read the other reviews before buying these -- I am usually a size 10, but on their advice, I bought a size 9. It is still a little "roomy", but with thick socks on working in the garden, they are perfect. Nice and sturdy, just as I wanted, and perhaps best of all -- they are made in Maine, so I am especially happy to have an American-made product.
