This shoe runs a little large. I wear 7 1/2M and ordered 7M. Still a little large in the heel with thick socks, but I pulled the leather shoestrings tighter for a better fit...perfect, now!

Wow! Thank you for a great shoe! We are hip deep in snow right now, so I've just been wearing them inside to break them in a bit, but it won't take too long to do that! Very beautiful quality leather & stitching. I'm looking forward to wearing these all summer long.

Roomy and cozy like slippers. I can now plow through my muddy yard with easy clean up . Walking in snow and slush in these shoes keeps away the annoying wet socks and decaying shoes. They run big.

Love these shoes. They do run large if you are 1/2 size order down a size. Once I got the correct size I am very satisfied, They are comfortable to wear all day and great for dog walking on damp or snowy days.

I love, love, love the rubber mocs from L.L. Bean! This is my 2nd pair and the customer service assistant is correct; be sure to order down. I wear 8.5-9 in ladies and the size 7 is perfect. They are the first thing that I slip on my feet in the morning and can wear around the barn for hours. I especially like the fact that they never develop a 'flat' tire, and the traction in the wet grass is superb. Thank you for making these!

Very useful for gardening etc. Keep your feet clean. It is nice to see something made in USA. Seems a bit larger by size. I usually take an 8 and these slip off my heal.

I wanted these shoes forever and finally ordered them on my birthday. I followed everyone's advice and ordered a whole size down. when the shoes arrived, I immediately put them on with medium socks and they were huge. So, I put a thick sock on and they were still too big. I ended up putting a shoe liner in and that made them fit much better. I wear thick socks with them and the end of the shoe slips off my heel, but honestly, they're so comfortable, I don't care. They are cute shoes, keep my feet warm, and are quick and easy to get on and off. I wear them everywhere and I love them!

There is a reason this boot is so popular and why it is offered in so many styles! It is GREAT! I got my first pair of hunting boots in December 1990. I still have them and wear them. I just wanted something quicker to pull on than the taller boot. These low boots are the perfect answer. The comfort and durability of the historical Bean Hunting Boot in a quick on convenience. Love them!

I chose a 1/2 smaller & it was a great fit. The moc is not bulky like I thought it would feel or look.

This shoe runs very large. I usually wear a 10.5 wide or 11 and I had to return several sizes until I found that a 9 medium width fits perfectly (even with heavy wool socks on). I wanted these shoes for running in and out of the car to school, grocery store, errands, etc. and they are perfect. Classic, but updated with pink. Very cute with khakies or jeans. I live in Minnesota where the weather ranges from slushy, with heavy wet snow to slick and icy -40 below. These boot provide warmth, dry feet and decent traction on the icy sidewalks and parking lots.

I've owned quite a few of these pairs over the years and they always hold up well and fit nicely with heavy socks. Wish they still had the navy color.

I like the fact that these black shoe-boots do the job without looking too rainboot-ish. On a sloppy day when I'm gonna be running from meeting to meeting or store to store, I can wear with black pants and no one even notices that I've got on waterproof shoewear. Good for tailgating and football games too. Very pleased.

I should've listened to y'all when you said these boots ran a bit large--and that I should go down a size, or a size and a half to find the correct fit! Anyway, I returned the first pair and my smaller pair came promptly. I LOVE them--can't wait to wear them.

Was hesitant to order after reading some of the views. However, I do own the boot version and I luv them. I took the plunge and ordered the shoe version in Brown. If you follow the sizing information in the details section of the product description, you will get the perfect fit. I wear with cotton/wool ragg socks. The perfect fit! Also love the fact that the shoe is made in Maine, USA!

I have been looking for a pair of rubber mocs to wear walking our dogs and to take along on vacation to Alaska. I wear a size 9 and have a wide foot. After reading the instructions under important size information, I ordered a size 8 wide. The length and width are a perfect fit for me. The heel was a little loose at first, but after wearing for a day I did not notice at all. My feet feel great and there is plenty of toe room. The quality is superb!

I have a wide foot, so naturally I order the wide. They are PERFECT! Comfy arch support, I can wear all summer long, with light socks, or none. Durable, water proof for winter wear as well. Have never been without a pair. Recently purchased another pair, because inner soul pad was slightly worn; other than that, recommend them to anyone who loves to work in the yard, and garden.

I read the reviews and was a little nervous about the sizing, but followed the instructions and ordered a 6. I wear a shoe size 7 1/2. The fit is great. There is even a little room with light weight socks and I laced them up tight to help the fit. I am really pleased with them! I got the navy with light blue pair and they are functional and fun to wear.

This is the 2nd pair of Mocs I have owned. These are replacing a pair I have had easily 10 years. The older pair finally started looking worn. I like that I can slip them on and off, that they are waterproof, and that they are mud-proof. Lots of mud around here. Runs big. Wish they came in half sizes.

I followed directions and ordered 1 size smaller and they fit almost perfectly - with heavy socks. These are not for light weight socks/hosiery. Very happy

I wear a size 7 1/2 M, and with heavy wool socks, the 7 I ordered fits very comfortably. Thanks to the other reviews and LLBean sock suggestions for fitting guidence. I look forward to another 20 years of winter gardening use with my new replacement mocs! Excellent value, considering the years of wear.
