after I returned the wide for a medium they were perfect. I ordered 1 size smaller but didn't know I also needed to adjust for the width. I love them, and they are truly waterproof.

Follow the suggestions in the other reviews and definitely order down, but you'll love them once you get the sizing right. Like all LLBean products, they're durable and well-made, but also incredibly comfortable and useful. I just bought my sister a pair for Christmas so she'd stop stealing mine!

This is my 2nd pair. I wear an 8.5 - 9 M shoe and the 8M is big. My padded FootLeveler orthotics and thick wool or athletic socks make these work for me. These shoes are very warm in the winter and very easy to clean.

Really like them. Very well made. Easy to slip on. Definitely order down, as recommended. I wear an 8, ordered a 7 - they are comfortable but still looser fitting with normal athletic socks.

These are for my daughter for Christmas but she just had to try them on when they came. They fit great and she is excited about the new pair that she will receive under the Christmas tree in just a few short weeks. Great product, great value, great company!

overall I was very satisfied with my moc boots purchase from LL Bean. The sizes are accurate ( order one shoe size down), they do run big. The boot itself is cute, warm, comfortable, and perfect for cold snowy or rainy days. They ship fast. The material is great quality. I would definitely recommend this item.

This shoe runs big and I went two sizes down. It has been a good fit. They are comfortable. I had the boot-type as a child and I am glad there is a slip on now. Easy clean.

I love these boots! I followed the instructions on ordering the correct size and they fit perfectly with a little heavier sock. They are warm and very comfortable. I wanted a lower slip on shoe or boot to be able to just jump in them. These fit the bill. I even wore them to walk the dog on a three mile walk and they were very comfortable for even that distance and I did not expect that. I may be back for taller ones soon.

These are awesome - comfortable and classic - just like when I was a kid. They run large, so size down.

The shoe fits very large. I would recommend a size smaller than you normally wear. Other than that, awesome shoes!

I normally wear a 8M, so I ordered a 7M, found them to be too wide, reordered a 7N fit great. Very comfortable. Waited too long to order the Sherpa insole - sold out for the season

My wife has a narrow foot. I wanted to get these for her to wear in spring, summer and fall, with a light sock. They may have been fine with a heavy sock, but too much room in the heel area, with a light sock. I tried two different sizes, but too much slop in rear, with both. Gramps

Glad I checked that this boot runs big. I usually wear a 71/2 or 8 and I ordered a 7. Fits perfectly. I had a pair in the past and I loved them.

This is my second pair of rubber mocs. My old ones will remain my around the yard pair while the new pair will look great for running errands and short trips when I need waterproof coverage without wearing boots. I purchased the lambswool inserts for added warmth. The sizing was exactly as recommended. I went to a size smaller because of the width and they are perfect. I ordered the inserts a size smaller than the moc size as recommended and they fit perfectly. These mocs are definitely a "10".

Love these boots sooooo much!! I went with the recommendations to go a size down. I got a 6 narrow and they fit perfectly. The narrow is definitely narrow. They are PERFECT for slipping on and taking the dog out for a walk or stepping out to the car for something or running errands. they are like flip flops for fall. Don't know how i have gone so long without them. Dry feet for days! Get them!

I live in South Carolina, and my mocs came in the day the flooding began - I've lived in these bo ots since, and I absolutely LOVE them! They are a little roomy, but with thicker socks, it's not a problem. They are incredibly light and comfortable. I orginally bought them to use on rainy days, because our campus tends to puddle a lot, but I may not take these off until summer time!

Made to fit perfectly with your heavy socks for those COLD days. Keeps shape forever. Easy to keep clean and rugged bottom helps traction in mud. I use them as gardening shoes in the rainy season and fall. This is my 2nd pair. The 1st lasted 10 years.

I finally ordered these Rubber Mocs after hesitating for almost two years and I am sorry I waited so long! I needed shoes that were waterproof to take my dog out in the mornings when the grass is wet and for walks during light rain or when there are puddles on the sidewalk. It hardly ever shows here so the full-size Bean Boots would have been too much for my needs. After reading many reviews and the sizing suggestion, I ordered a 7M in the navy/tan color (I almost always wear an 8.5M). These are a perfect fit with regular socks. When I first tried them on they seemed a little wide but I carefully tightened the laces on the sides and retied them tighter. I needed to go on a couple of walks in them and re-adjust the laces before they softened up and fit my feet well. So if the Mocs seem weird fitting (too wide) at first even after reading the size suggestions try doing that to get the fit to improve. This is my first pair of Bean Boots and now I know why they are classics and sell out year after year!

I'm very happy with my LLB Rubber Moc. It took several pairs to figure out the sizing, so if your having trouble figuring out what size to order, here's my advise. I'm a size 9 1/2 or 10. Although, in sandals I'm a size 9. I tried every combination of sizes and widths and ended up with the 8 Med. Your heel will slip but I think that's normal for this shoe, and they are comfortable with a thick sock. I tried the 8 Narrow with a thin sock, (thinking my heel wouldn't slip as much) but after a while, my pinky toe felt squished. I liked them so much I also purchased the 6" boots any since they tie, your heel doesn't slip at all.

Years ago I had a pair of these boots and it was time to get another. If anything, they are even better than I remembered them to be. Even though they just arrived I still remember that they are perfect for rain and some snow. This is a perfect boot to wear to walk my dog and I can wear my Bean rag socks for warmth. They can be worn when I drive or shop, too. This shoe-boot is just as comfortable as it is serviceable. They are left by the door for convenience so I can just step into them as I go out.
