Shoe is sized a bit large as is stated in the literature. I wear a 6 1/2 shoe and ordered a size 6. A pair of heavier socks are still needed.

Received order early, was exactly as shown on website and they fit great. I ordered size based on reviews and they fit perfect with socks. This is only my second boot purchase over the past 15-20 years so they last a very long time. Excellently made and I will purchase again.

Love them!! Been wearing these boots for over 25 years! I work in the operating room and these boots keep my feet clean and dry, and slip free! Let's just say they are various liquid proof!!!

These are my go-to shoes for early morning work as a landscape manager. Very comfortable with sports socks, easy to put on and keeps feet dry. I switch to LL Bean comfort mocs as the day progresses and the ground dries since they are less heavy and cooler on the feet. Great, long-lasting quality. Great footwear combination year-round!

I have been a rubber moc wearer for a long time and is great for the quick slip-on around the house. I finally found that my wife has found the same pleasure in the ladies moc. She is a dog walker and finds the moc great for that duty. The size runs slightly larger than a "normal" wear so note that when selecting. Don't think it will disappoint anyone.

This is my third pair of Bean Boots. I keep one pair at home for walking in the rain, one pair in my car for emergencies, and I just got this pair of moccasins for use at the ranch when I bathe my horse. The other two pair are 6", but I wanted a pair I could just slip on after taking off my riding boots and these are perfect. I have wide feet, so ordered 6 D since it was recommended to order down a size. The fit is comfortable, a bit big, but that's OK since I can wear heavier socks if necessary.

I was confused about what size to order. I had these shoes years ago and they lasted for over 30 years. I keep them by the side door and loved to wear them when I had to run out for a minute. I needed new ones and read that I should order a size smaller. I wear size 8 wide. so I ordered a size 7 wide. I can wear them with heavy socks they are very roomy. I was told to order size 8 if I wanted to wear heavy socks but that is not correct for me. so I am glad that I ordered a size 7. I use these in my garden they are heavy and give me sure footing in a muddy garden.

I have had these 10+ years and absolutely LOVE them. They are roomy enough that I can wear thick socks with them in the Winter. I can wear thinner socks and though they are looser fitting they still feel comfortable and don't make sores on my heels.

After 12 years, my Bean mocs finally died. Constant farm wear, mud wear and rain wear finally wore them out. Ordered another pair the same day I put my old friends in the trash can. Great pair of mocs!!!

The most comfortable boots, but I don't like color. I wish LLBean produces also the black color.

These shoes are the best shoe for wet or winter weather. In Indiana we do not get scads of snow, but we do get some, just enough to ruin shoes, but not these. I have an extra pair I keep in my car in case the weather changes. The last pair of these I purchased from Bean have lasted about 30 years and I only bought new ones because I wanted new ones!

I wore these shoes years ago, but not from LLBean. I would wear the soles right off of them, but eventually the quality went down. After my veterinarian told me that LLBean would re-sole them if I wore them out( and how good the quality was ) (of course I understand you pay for this)---I then decided to try them out. I have horses and I'm outside all the time with big luggy rubber boots that I cannot seem to get to fit without making me sore somewhere. I decided to try these shoes. They are great. I normally wear an 8.5 to a 9, and had to order an 8, and they fit just right. ALL shoes hurt my very arthritic feet, but these are just fine, and have innersoles that can also be replaced. I highly recommend these shoes.

I needed pair of walking the dog shoes in damp spring weather that was different than a sneaker. I have problem feet with bunions and planters fasciitis so many shoes are not comfortable . These from L.L. Bean are comfortable, large enough that I could wear a pair of socks with, and easy to slip in and out... ready to walk the dog and myself anytime!

...or should I say, "mud season"? Here in New England, it's great to have a wardrobe of Bean boots. These are perfect March/April footwear.

I love these shoes! I usually wear a 10 or 10 1/2. Got the 9 1/2 wide but they were huge. Then got the 8 1/2. They fit fine - maybe a bit snug. Doesn't matter. Very comfy and durable.

Been wanting these for a while and thought to treat myself during the Holidays but these popular mocs were sold out. I continued to order despite notification of "Backordered until June". So thrilled that they came just in time for February's unpredictable snowy/rainy weather! I took the advice of several reviews and ordered an entire size down from my normal shoe size. I always wear size 8 in shoes/boots, and prefer thin socks to thick, so ordered a size 7. Couldn't be happier with the fit and Love that these mocs are slip-on/off which is exactly what I wanted. There are other brands with similar style offered out there but glad I waited for the BEST.

Have really enjoyed these shoes! It had been wet for a while and my yard never dried out, so these were perfect when I needed to get things done! I followed the suggestion to size down and shoes fit perfectly!

I am so happy with my duck shoes. I was a bit concerned about the idea of ordering a full size down but they really know what they are talking about. I am always a size 7 but ordered a 6 with some trepidation. They fit perfectly. There's just enough room to comfortably slip the shoe on and off without feeling like I was going to break the back edge. The shoe is comfortable and does what it's supposed to do. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I love my Mocs! They are easy to slip on and off. I live in NYC and these are my favorite dog walking shoes in rainy and snowy weather. They are super comfortable and keep my feet warm and dry. I usually wear a 7.5 and my Bean Boots are a 7 as I don't mind them a little sloppy and I wear them with heavier socks. I went down to a 6 for the Mocs after trying a 7 first. They were still a little wide, but I just pulled the laces a little tighter and now they are perfect!

I am thrilled to death with these. I had no idea how comfortable these mocs are on top of their amazing practicality ! I had another pair of bean boots with shearling offered many years ago....they were a slip on ankle boot .....my 16 yr. old daughter swiped them on me since they're in style.....so I've had nothing to slip on quickly for quite some time. I searched and searched and saw these and LOVE them. I will be wearing these ALL the time ....they are a fantastic investment. I wear a size 8 to 81/2 shoe and was quite hesitant to order a 7 medium but I held my breath and did. I put them on with my mid weight L.L.Bean socks and they fit PERFECT and even have arch support. Super Happy ! ! !

I have a wide foot so hard to find comfortable wide shoes. Big enough that I can wear a thick sock with. Got them before the latest snow and they were wonderful in the snow. Liked them so much I got my sister a pair.

These were too big even though I ordered a size smaller than I usually wear. I ordered 6 Narrow to see if they would fit better than the 6M. I have not received them yet. Unfortunately, they don't come smaller than a size 6. I really like them. If the 6N is too small and narrow in width, I will keep the 6M and put inserts inside of them to make tighter.

I wear a 6 1/2 wide shoe. I have both a high arch and wide ball of the foot which makes my foot hard to fit. Ordered size 7 Wide first and I swam in them. The length of the shoe is true; I was a doubter. I re-ordered a size 6 Wide. They are indeed wide, in fact very wide at both the front and the heel with my heaviest socks. They fit the ball of my foot perfectly but the heel is very loose. I'm keeping them because I use them to run in and out of the door to play with the dog in the winter and can slip them on and off quickly when we have little snow in Michigan. They work perfectly for that. If you want a warmer, secure boot that keeps anything over a couple of inches of snow off my foot I use my shin height LL Bean boots. This pair of boots work well for the application that I bought them for and recommend them for that. Just know that wide is wide and believe their sizing recommendations.

I usually wear a size 6 1/2 to 7 shoe, so I ordered a size 6 since they do not come in half sizes (other reviewers suggested ordering "down" when in doubt). I am so happy that I did because they fit perfectly! They are surprisingly comfortable and not at all bulky. The only downside is that I waited a few months for them to be made and delivered. I am very happy with this purchase!
