Nearly 20 yrs ago, I purchased my first pair of Bean boots (10 inch, wool insulated) before I left for college in upstate NY and while I still have, wear, and love those boots, they're tough to drive in for my hour commute to work (1hr+ in the winter). I purchased a pair of Rubber Mocs two years ago and now barely take them off all winter. They're easy to slip on an off, are fully waterproof, don't allow water to slap up the back of your legs when walking, and are super comfortable. They're not insulated but a pair of Smartwool socks (also from Bean) easily keep my tooties warm and toasty.

Yes, the Rubber Moc runs large. I wear woolly socks and have never had a problem with these - they've lasted for me for about 5 years and they're incredibly durable.

I previously ordered my usual size but had to return them as they were quite large, even with sporty/thick socks. I re-ordered one size smaller and the fit was perfect. These mocs are of great quality and craftmanship. I replaced the insoles with Superfeet insoles as I have been using those insoles in all my footwear. I am not saying that the included insoles are uncomfortable, but I love the Superfeet insoles much better. These are the perfect rainy day mocs; waterproof and I never had soaking wet socks or feet anymore. These mocs can withstand light and heavy downpours but you can't wade on heavy floods with them. They are very comfortable and it's easy to slip your feet into them. I don't just wear them during rainy days, I wear them everyday!

I ordered a size smaller like it was advised, and they fit great! It hasn't rained yet (and hope it does soon), so no comment on how they are for that, but I was so happy with the fit.

Thanks to all the reviewers who took the time to write. I purchased my Rubber Moc only after reading the reviews. I bought one full size smaller than my normal size and a pair of rag socks. So they're perfect the first time around! I love them.

I live in Canada. Because these are made in the US, there is no import duty. However, keep in mind that web prices are in USD! I got these for walking my dogs when the grass is wet or wearing to work in heavy weather. The fit is as advertised. Buy a full size smaller than you normally wear and expect to add socks for a comfortable fit. I like them. They are 'as advertised'.

I've wanted a pair of rubber mocs for a long time. I ordered a size 7medium and normally wear a size 8 or 8.5 med in shoes. The 7's were perfect. I will use them as slip-on's for going from house to yard and for rainy/muddy activities. I wore them straight out of the box for a few hours with no socks and got no blisters. Very comfortable footbed. Still enough room for a thin or medium weight sock. Thank you Bean!

I recently got a new puppy and she loves morning walks through the dewey grass. I went out one time in regular sneakers and instantly came inside and ordered these. Like most reviews, I'll reiterate, pay attention to the sizing information! I wear between an 8 and an 8.5 and got a size 8. They are a little big currently in the summer and not wearing socks, but I feel like a 7 wouldn't have given me enough room once I will start to need to wear socks. The information card that comes with the mocs indicate needing a thumb length from your big toe to the end of the shoe for proper ventilation and sock space. I have just that and cannot recommend these enough!

I have already been using the higher LLBean lace-up rubber boots in an 8-wide for several years. I have a wide foot and a high instep - finding a boot that I can put my foot into is a problem, but that one works. I wanted something I could use in summer in the garden, so I ordered the same size in this moc. There is a significant difference in the way it feels when being worn. With thick cotton socks it will work for me if I tie the laces very tight. I always use a sock or liner anyway - but this runs really big and wide. It is very long - absolutely order one size down. I really wonder why LLBean doesn't adjust the sizing since they actually make the shoe.

I took Bean's advice and ordered one size smaller than normal and the fit is perfect. We have many rainy days in the Pittsburgh area and these shoes are great when the weather is warmer and rain boots are too hot.

Loved the shoe, BUT even with heavy socks the shoe was toooooo large....I ordered the smallest size available...... Please create a smaller size for us "little feet people" Thanks

I love these rubber mocs for year-round use. I wear them gardening, taking the dog out, and for walking in the winter. Easy to slip on and off and so comfortable!

I work with pre-school children and I am out doors a great deal of time - winter LL Beans boots the best and spring summer rubber mocs are a must in the mud and then sand - also love for walking beach - comfortable and practical = LL Bean service is THE BEST

I buy a pair every year ware them every day. I work in a very busy garden center. However haven't made a purchase this year because the current colors are so boring. Please bring back the Kool colors from previous years

My new Rubber Mocs are comfortable, good looking and more importantly are a perfect fit. I have a wide foot and normally take a half size and search for a wide shoe. I never thought I would find the perfect fit. I was advised by the L.L.Bean on line shop Advisor as to which size to choose. She was absolutely correct.

I read the other reviews and since I normally wear an 8 wide, I ordered the 7 medium. The fit is perfect, I don't even have to retie the laces, and they feel like slippers. I also love the traditional LL Bean look of the boot and, although I wish I had ordered them last Fall, they will be very useful for Maine's mud season. I can tell that this will be the "go-to" boot next winter for walking the dog. Thank you LL Bean !!

After having read so many reviews with fit problems I received a pair. Figured out that it is indeed the lacing. Look closely at the photo and you will see how the laces go around the outside laces. Then you will be able to pull the knot tightly to secure them to your feet. Hope this helps.

Make SURE you order at least a size down!!! I called LLB's SUPER customer service before ordering these!!! I norm. wear a sz 10M. They suggested ordering a sz. 9M to wear w/reg. every day sox. Even a 9M is Big! I wear my little fuzzy sox w/a pr. of reg. wt. sox w/these shoes!!! I have 2 pr. of LLB boots like these~one insulated and the other not. And I have those in sz 10M. And they are Big on me but I wear multi wt. sox w/them. These are still big w/a 9M but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE these!!! I wear them to work and work on concrete. Normally I have a hard time w/my feet wearing ANY shoe on concrete! With these they are Sooo VERY WELL made, comfortwise and constructed~wise, these I CAN wear on the concrete floors at work and don't have ANY issues w/my feet. I don't walk out of them as some said. They are NOTHING but great! I can slip in and out of them very quickly to go outside so for liking this style. They are Super to do yard work in and walk my dogs!!! GREAT for muddy weather; great for walking in the rain! You will NOT get your feet wet walking through the rain in these!!! I just LOVE these!!!! I would DEFINITELY recommend this shoe to ANYONE w/Caution to ORDER a smaller size then you normally do!!!

Bought these to walk the dog in and now wear them all the time. So much more convenient than lacing up big winter boots all the time - I now wear those only when shoveling. Great traction for walking in snow and so convenient to slip on and off. Good insoles too - I always replace the insoles that come in shoes with Superfeet ones due to arch problems, but I left these in and have not had an issue. Runs very large. I'm usually between a 7.5-8 and I ended up taking a 6 in these. Granted I ordered them in wide, but the 7W was comically large on my size 8 foot. I wasn't even sure they would stay on when I walked.

The rubber mocs are absolutely perfect for wet, muddy weather. My husband and I both have them and they always sit by the door, ready for us to slip on and off on our constant trips out with the dog. They run large so definitely order a size down. I am usually an 8.5 or 9 W, and the 8 M is loose on me.

Awesome....they are so comfortable...they do fit very big...I'm normally a 7, I ordered a 6 and could actually probably wear a 5.5 size. They keep my feet dry and warm...love them...so happy I ordered them!

My normal shoe size is 8.5 wide. I followed the size recommendations carefully, and ordered an 8 wide, since I like to wear thick wool socks for dog walking, whatever the weather. These fit PERFECTLY. Plenty of sock room, and the toe length is just right. Follow Bean's guidelines and you can't go wrong. I consider these year-round shoes. I purchased them in blue, of course!

I have plantar fasciitis. Without the proper shoes, your heels feel as though you're walking barefoot on broken glass. I was worried about ordering these without a try on first. No more worries! I followed the fit instructions, and they're not only a perfect fit, they are a shoe I can actually walk in. Be aware that the fit instructions are correct about ordering smaller and narrower size. I wear an 8.5-9 with a medium weight sock. I sized all the way down to a 7 narrow! As soon as I see the 8" zip or slip-on boot again, (lace ups just aren't for me) I will be jumping in there with another order. I am very pleased to be able to walk painfree in these shoes.

Fine quality - Made In USA!!!!! The instructions say to wear the Moc's with thicker socks. This is a MUST. I normally wear a size 7.5 shoe and ordered the Moc's in Size 7. Without thick socks, my feet swim in the Moc.

These are perfect for icy or otherwise sloppy weather - so easy to slip on. I had to size down to a 7, but I usually wear a 9. A 71/2 would have been perfect, but I'll just forgo the thick socks.
