At least one size or more too big. I wear a 6 wide normally, these felt more like 7.5 extra extra wide.

I normally wear a 5 1/2. Tried on the 6 in the store and it was huge, both length- and width-wise. Since the shoe does not come in anything smaller than the oversized 6, I essentially can't order this shoe even though I'd love to...

I should have went with previous customer reviews, I wear a 8 n half medium. Bought size 8 M. They are so huge I will have to return I do not know If a 7M will work may need a 6? Quality looks awesome its just what I wanted for yard garden outside work. So not sure if I will order new pair.

Ordered one size smaller as recommended, my daughter still walked out of them, ordered another size smaller, still too big!

I had these years ago and they fit great. I had wanted another pair for so long and they were finally on sale. My foot size has not changed. so I ordered a pair and followed reviews that they run big. The smallest to fit my size seven was a six which was still way to big. These boots are so practical and cute as well-but didn't work for me.As suggested, I ordered a size down from what I usually wear(ordered an 8, when I wear a 9), but they were still way big. I then ordered a size 7, which were still too large. I did try with socks, but not really bulky ones.

too too big. both my daughter and I ordered thes rubber mocs and found them to be at least a whole shoe size too large. I ordered the AA. besides the shoe being too long, the heel is too wide.

I purchased a size 7 and over time they gave me many blisters. I wear an 8.5 to 9 shoe. I decided to order a size 8 and was swimming in them. When I put on heavy socks they still were big in the heel and threatened more blisters. I wish LLBean would amend their sizing to real life sizing......

Even getting a smaller sze and wearing heavy socks the heel was still too loose and I'm sure I would have blisters in no time. Too bad - because I loved the look just not the fit.

My friend has these shoes and told me they "ran big" but I underestimated just how big! I have to send them back, but I will go a whole size smaller-just beware.

After ordering, and returning, 2 pair of these shoes, I discovered that they run 1.5 sizes big. Would have been good to know that before ordering twice. Also found that the heel is really low in the back. Overall ill-fitting shoes - but good looking for waterproof shoes

These shoes were huge. I put my feet in them and there was an empty space of at least 1.5 inches behind my heel. When I returned them and requested a size 5W, it turned out that they aren't made that small. So I ended up with no shoes.

I am a womens size 8 true and true so that is what I ordered. Let's just say they fit my husband perfectly who is a mens 9. The yellow color I ordered on top of the shoe ended up all over (in pieces) on the navy blue bottom. I guess I expected more from LLBean. It's the first time we have been disappointed. :(

The quality of this shoe is outstanding--I wish they would have fit. I normally wear a 9 1/2 B, & ordered down like all of the info said. I ordered an 8. They were long enough, & the arch was great, but the toe was too narrow. The back of the shoe is very wide, & even with tightening the strings, slipped no matter how thick my socks were. When I tried a thinner sock, it fell off my foot.:(( Hard to know how to rate the length & fit because of how off they were--why can't they be sized by normal standards so we wouldn't have to guess??

I purchased these in navy nearly 15 years ago. They are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever owned. The arch support in them is back under my heel rather than in the arch area of the shoe bed. It's too bad cuz they are so convenient to wear. Wish I had returned them originally but am stuck with a pair of boots that will never wear out. :(

The length was good, but the heel was at least double the normal size. Tightening the laces did nothing. I'm surprised LL Bean didn't check these out better. I had read the reviews before my order, but I thought since I have wide feet, they would be ok. Very disappointing. Bad lot !

Tried 3 different times to get the right size - really thought I wanted these boots but no matter what the size / width, my heels kept slipping out! I'm very bummed!

I read the previous reviews that the shoes ran very large so I ordered 1 size smaller than I wear. They are STILL too big. Not just a little too big. They are at least 2 or 3 sizes too big even after ordering down a size. I wear a 7, so I ordered a 6. These could easily fit a 9 or 10. They are ridiculously oversized -- not even wearing additional socks could keep them from literally falling off my feet. I hate returning products, but at this price they are going back and I will not order again.

Had to return and of course the same color was not available. Now have to wait and hope the next pair fits.

Entirely too wide. Too wide even for my husband who has wide feet.

Do you have a new source for these? I have bought at least 6 pairs of these over the years and all were perfect. I ordered the green ones just for fun. They were huge and the lace broke when I tried to tie it. I sent them back for a smaller size and a stronger lace. I use these in the barn all the time so please go back to how they used to be.

The sizing of these moccasins is horrific. Two tries using your sizing information did not result in a fit. Actual womens size 8 medium; tried 7 medium-too large, and 6 medium-too small.

I ordered these shoes on the 19th of August and they arrived on the 28th. I was leaving on the 30th to go on an Alaskan cruise, and I thought that they would be perfect for that. They were about 3 sizes too big and I wouldn't have been able to walk in them. I sent them back on the 29th and had to scramble to find rain shoes at the last minute, I was not very happy about that.

So far these shoes are keeping my feet dry which was the point of ordering them. Smaller sizes should be available since Bean recommends ordering a full size down if you plan to wear light weight socks. I'm a size 6.5, but couldn't order a 5.5 since the smallest size offered is 6. Ordered them in a 6 anyways b/c I was desperate for this kind of shoe to wear to the barn in the summer. They're too big even w/ slightly heavier socks, and there's no way I can wear them w/o socks. They appear to be better made than the storm chaser clogs (loved the fit on those, but they fell apart after 8 months - pair 1 and 2 days - pair 2). Just hoping I don't walk out of them while walking through mud!
