I tried these mocs one other time and they didn't work for me. My foot slipped out of the heel, and I nearly fell. I decided to give it another shot. Well, now I know they're not for me and If I want the low cuts, then I NEED the ones w/the ties and shoelace eyelets. The "tongue" bunches up on the front of my foot, when I need to tie them tighter. My foot slipped out of the heel to where I tripped and nearly fell. I LOVE the workmanship in these and Love the purple and teal color. But VERY SADLY they didn't work for my feet. Back they went.....If you can get them to work for you? they'd be an excellent moc. But I need to keep to the ones which tie and have the shoelace holes in them to hold my foot better. I ordered a size 10 for my 11 huff and the size was perfect. It was the moc that didn't work for my feet.

I wear an 8.5 shoe. The bean boots only come in whole sizes. Last year I bought these in a size 9. I wore them a couple times but was walking out of them. Gave them away. So I recently ordered them again, but in size 8. But they are still slightly too big and still trying to keep them on when I walk! Rather frustrating and sad since I've ordered them twice, guess I need to look at a different brand

Nice quality but way too big in the heal. Will use to slip on in a hurry and walk around the yard.

I'm devastated in the sharp decrease in quality these shoes have taken over the years. Decades ago, they were my go to foul weather shoes. I purchased a new pair Dec 2023. It felt as though I was walking barefoot under the ball of my foot. The soles are paper thin. I was in pain after a few hours. What a waste of money.

Not the right size. I was hoping this pair would replace another LLBean pair. Not the same sizing.

I use to wear these growing up - sad to say having no 1/2 sizes is problematic - in addition the heel area is so wide. Needless to say very disappointed

Not true to size. Even with thick socks they are too large and can easily fall off my feet.

These are well made and attractive, but the sizing is off. I ordered a size smaller as suggested, but they still slip off of my feet.

Who makes shoes that you can't figure out how to put the laces in. I've searched You Tube videos, etc. Might like them but how would I know since I can't put the laces in??

I purchased my normal shoe size. It felt like one full size larger. I bought an earlier version of this LL Bean shoe several years ago. This one felt much bulkier and less appealing to me. I returned it.

Lots of reviews spoke of too large mocs. For the first time ever, I ordered size 7 instead of my normal L.L.Bean 8. They are still too large and slide off my heal. L.L.Bean suggests we wear their ragg-wool socks with the mocs, so I ordered two pairs (even though people mentioned how the seam that attaches the toe to the sock is too bulky and hurts their feet). They were right, Bean's ragg-wool socks hurt like the dickens at the toe seam. I donated them to Goodwill. I tightened the leather thong on the mocs and wear them with my own thick wool socks, but they still slide off my heal. The mocs are stiff and don't flex with your foot so they keep trying to pull my socks off my feet as the tighter thong cuts into the top of my foot. On flat surfaces, they're just o.k., but we live on a hill so whenever I walk uphill or across a hill sideways, the mocs slide on my feet. Not really safe for walking efficientlyI have to watch every step.

They are way too wide. Even if I doubled up on two pairs of thick socks, they would not fit properly. I also think the leather looks cheap. Very disappointed! I have been a customer of LL Bean long before the internet even existed. I have watched the quality go down... to my dismay. :(

I had to double check my order because it seemed like they sent a men's shoe, not a woman's shoe. I had to exchange for a smaller size than normal, a size I have never worn since I've been an adult. The replacement was supposed to be a narrow, but not only can I wear thick socks, it still slips off my heel. So not true to size, not even made for women. It's like Bean thinks women's feet are just like men's feet.

The rain boots I purchased are so colorful it makes the day brighter. I chose the teal with orange colored soles. The size eight was a perfect fit. The quality of shoe is excellent. Getting these on sale was a bargain. Always enjoy shopping at LlBean for the selection, quality of their m and the ease of exchange if necessary. I highly recommend these boots for inclement weather.

I am astonished that such a useful shoe design is so poorly executed by a company known for this type of shoe. These were stiff and uncomfortable. The sizing advice in these reviews is accurate. I am a 10 med and rather than take a size down, I wear them with heavy wool socks. The reason I put up with these is that this moccasin style weatherproof shoe is easy to step into for a quick trip outside in bad weather and I could not find a similar style elsewhere. I would not recommend them for extended walking.

These rubber mocs just arrived and they're too big. I'm a size 11B and I was swimming in these size 11s. Definitely order a size down.

I ordered size 6, but needed a size 5. Feet slide around even with heavy socks on. When walking you can feel the feet trying to leave the shoe. Why no size 5?

It's impossible to tie the leather laces. When I think I've tied them tight, they just uncurl so I'm walking around with flopping laces. Any suggestions?

The sizing on these is way off. I wear an 11 and ordered a 10 because the reviews said they run big. The 10 was too big and I couldn’t walk in them because my heel kept slipping out. I exchange them for a 9, but that didn’t work either. They were too small but the heel still kept slipping out. I really wanted these to work, but they just don’t. They look super cute, but LLBean needs to adjust there sizing.

largely because of the lacing system, it is difficult to tighten without crimpling the tongue... as a result the show flops at the heel cup.... returned these immediately may fit better with people who have large ankles but certainly not the average foot shape
