Sorry to say I returned my slippers. They were too short along with having a musty odor to them. I know sheepskin can have an odor but that wasn't the smell.

Less then 1 year and these slippers are already completely worn out, seams seem to be missed when sewing the soles on, the leather is so thin compared to my old 7 year old pair, these are house slippers only, I never wore these out to get the mail or anything as I wanted to keep them nice since I loved my old pair so much. DISAPPOINTED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. And I have been an L.L. Bean lover my whole life.

I have been buying these slippers for 30 years. They have declined in comfort, amount of fleece to a great degree. I have had these one month and they already feel flat in the sole. Previously, I could wear them for 6 years or so. I'm very disappointed.

The ties on the moccasins are a hazard, especially to older adults. The ties will not stay tied despite numerous attempts using bunny ears, double twists, etc. The ties are long enough that I step on them causing me to fall. I do not recommend them.

I purchased these slippers from a department store. The shearling inside started to wear down bald after less than 3 months. I know LL Bean is supposed to guarantee their products for a year. The department store told me they cannot accept a return even with a receipt and I would have to return them to LL Bean directly. The associate I spoke with at LL Bean told me the same. I DOUBLE CHECKED before sending them off as I didn't want to mail something in and not get refunded or a replacement. Weeks later, I found out that they will not be helping me and they now have my product. So I have no slippers and no money. Extremely disappointed in the customer service and quality of these slippers.

TL;DR - Tie the laces at your own risk! The customer gets blamed for this poor quality yet pricey product.
After years of wearing LL Bean slippers, I bought this pair less than a month ago. Within less than three weeks of indoor use, the hole where the lace goes through slightly tore when I was tying the laces.
When I tried to exchange the slippers at a store, the store declined them because of "accidental damage". Wut? Isn't this reflective of their product and not the customer?
I called LL Bean customer service and was told I'd need to mail them to Freeport for "inspection", and I'd find out in two to three weeks whether they would accept the return. Huh? For a pair of $90 slippers?
I did not expect this from a company that has lauded itself for high quality and excellent service. I have bought many durable products over the years, and never expected this. LL Bean needs to do better.

I bought these a little over a year ago. The slippers felt fine for about a year but recently became very uncomfortable around the toes where the wool lining the bottom of the slippers is shifting and bunching up into hard knots which are very uncomfortable. The wool lining the bottoms of the slippers are also wearing away in places making the slippers less comfortable and not as warm as they started out. It's only a couple of months past the return window so now I am stuck with over priced slippers that already need to be replaced.

They look and feel wonderful, but unfortunately the rubber soles are squeaky/noisy on non-carpeted flooring. I will be returning and buying the JCrew women slippers that I know do not have squeaky soles. What a disappointment!

I got these for my wife as a Christmas present. She wears a size 8.5, but these only come in size 8 or 9, so I ordered the size 8 since the info said you would wear them for a bit and they would conform to your foot, but they were much too small and were painful for her, so I returned them and ordered size 9, but those were much too big and her feet just slipped right out. She needed a size 8.5, which is not offered. I got charged $6.50 for each return, so I feel ripped off having to pay for 2 returns when they don't make these in mid-sizes. I suspect a lot of people have the same problem.

I have been buying these for 30 years and the quality has declined. They are not as cushy as they were. They are not a week old and the sole feels thin already. I am disappointed.

I am shocked to be making a negative review on a Bean product. These moccasins are slightly different widths. You can see this if you turn them over. Further the top if the tongues are sewn differently on each moc. One is sewn to the top of the tongue. The other is not . If you feel the depth of the sheepskin in one is denser than the other. It seems to be a great failure in quality control. How can they make one mix differently than the other on a pair ??

Worst slippers ever. Appear to be different sizes even though tag says they are the same. The rawhide "tie" never stays tied. It hangs off the side presenting a tripping hazard.

Size marked wrong, both marked 8 wide, left is more like a 9 and the other like a 7.5. Both seem to have been worn before.

Bought Women's Wicked Good Moccasins for myself. Bought Men's for husband. We take our slippers when visiting with friends. I proudly put on my new LLBean moccasins only to have our friends point out that the sole of one of my slippers was not sewn onto the sole! I was mortified. The packaging and receipt have gone by the wayside long ago. I have never worn those slippers again and would be grateful for a return and even exchange.

I wanted to love these slippers but will likely return them. They have a really annoying label sewn into the arch of the inside of the slipper - so either you try and remove it and void the warranty if that doesn't work or wear a heavy sock that means the slipper doesn't really fit now. If I'm going to pay this price - I expect a slipper without this annoying uncomfortable label.

For years, I bought the cheaper Minnetonka version of this slipper. I finally decided to splurge on these, and had my husband order them for Christmas. It hadn't even been a year of use, and the leather has separated from the sole in two different places. They are literally falling apart! I'm very disappointed and will go back to my cheaper Minnetonkas, which held up better.

I bought these slippers last year and when they got sent to me I got sent two left feet!!!!! After exchanging them I literally wore them for two months not even!!!! And the whole side ripped out at the scene where the fabric meets the soul, and it looks like they cut it so far that it wasn't even stitched into the soul. I went back I returned them got another pair same thing happened. Now they're saying that they were overworn when they were literally two months old so they wouldn't take them back so now I'm out $90 and a pair of slippers. The fuzz inside wasn't even matted down. I still have a backpack from when I was a little kid and bought a backpack a couple years ago and it didn't even last year. I don't know what they're doing to the quality of their products, but they're not even making them to last anymore like they used to.

Purchased two pairs. Size 9, the right slipper was smaller than the left so the my right foot was rubbing against the slipper. Purchased the 10, the right foot of that pair was a half inch wider than the left foot. I tightened it with the rawhide lace and the rawhide tore the top of the slipper.
I've been purchasing these slippers for MANY years; i would buy a new pair every year because i would wear them so much. HOWEVER, i feel that the quality of the slippers isn't there any longer.

I bought these based on the stellar reviews. So many people mentioned having theirs for 10 years! $90 for slippers seemed steep, but if they are THAT great I'll invest! Fast-forward 1 year and the lining or worn through on the inside. Now, 2 years later, i just realized there's a large hole at my left big-toe. So these are trash. So much for sustainability and buying quality clothes...

I was suspicious as soon as I opened the box and noticed that not only did they look smaller than the old ones I was wearing (same size), but there was an insert card referencing the "snug fit" and how they "should feel confined." Sure enough, when I held the sole of the new ones up to the sole of the old ones (purchased only nine months ago!), the new ones were at least half an inch narrower, and approx. 1/3 of an inch shorter. This is outrageous. We've bought these moccasins in my family for decades, and have always loved them, but I guess this year LL Bean won't be on the Xmas list. Save your money, because LL Bean clearly saved theirs by skimping on materials.
