I bought these for my sons girlfriend so she just started wearing them. But in the past I bought them for my daughter-in-law and they rip constantly. She has to return them quite often. For the money I paid for these, they should never rip! Also I had the impression they were made by hand by LL Bean. The tag says made in China. Shame on you llbean

My primary consideration for a new pair of house slippers was warmth. These are indeed warm, and I've worn them around the house all day today. However, they have a decidedly odd fit. They are my size, and the length is good - no toe-hitting. But they are wide from front to back, and they actually slip off my heel as I walk.(All day, it's been clump, clump, clump, clump from one room to another). When I glance down at them, they even look wide -- reminds me of snowshoes. But they are warm, so I'll live with them. Maybe with heavy socks.

I have been wearing my L.L.Bean slippers for over 5 years, and recently the seam started to fray. I just traded them in for a new pair and upon putting them on was horrified at the quality. It feels as if everything has been cheapened, from the lining to the thickness of the sole. I wish I kept my old pair! Shame on you L.L.Bean, wish you didn't sacrifice quality for the rising demand in your product. If this is your first pair of slippers I'm sure you'll enjoy them, however if this is a replacement pair you'll be greatly disappointed!

My husband buys me a new pair every year. I wish they would last longer, but the soles and the tops come apart, the lining wears out very quickly. I love them, but they never last a whole year. I hate seeing how much he pays for these things every.single.year. I think I'll tell him to skip these this year and just buy ones from Macy's they are the same, and less expensive.

Slippers are cozy and warm at first but the fur wears down quickly ....also they seem to get wider with age. The fur becomes lumpy in places and worn in others....a disappointment at this price! I usually love LLBean products but not this..sorry.

My slippers came apart the first week I wore them. I would never have paid this amount of I knew this would happen. The stitching started coming apart and that is very frustrating.

The sizing is a mess. First bought my true size and it was huge. I went down on a second pair by a whole size and still too big. Just gave ip.

Why is the sheep skin stitched down....around the foot....which makes it decoration....? Why, being that it is a slipper, and meant to be cozy and warm, isn't that sheep skin meant to turn up around the foot ? The first is ridiculous. The second, sensible. I was so disgusted by this that the pair is just sitting in the box. It should have been made clear that the sheep skin was just there for.........looks. Then, I would Never, Never have bought it.

I am so disappointed with the women's slippers I bought a while back. I've had to delay this Review; I was in a car crash that serious affected my ability to get things done, and suffer brain fog from a concussion. Anyway, I was SO excited to get the slippers! I've been wanting real slippers for several years. The slippers arrived! Beautiful blue color. I put the left one on with a bare foot; the right one I put on my cozy woolen sock......wanted to see if the slipper would fit with that sock. I walked around the house for about 25 minutes then removed the socked slipper. The fleece inside was matted down...so then the right slipper is too loose. I tried to comb-up that fleece, but that right slipper still loose. I want to wear the slippers year-round....but the right slipper is too loose for bare feet. and I do need to wear sox in Winter becuz my feet and ankles are cold without tall wool sox. Can I return the beautiful blue slippers?

the right foot was not right. It felt like the top piece was a left foot piece sewn to the right foot.

While my size 8 wide moccasins are a good fit, my daughter's are way too wide for both her and me. I am returning hers and ordering a regular size 8 in hopes they will be a better fir.

Have bought these for my family for many years. I bought 2 as gifts this year. they are both 1 inch or more shorter than previous. We measured the soles. This was an online purchase. Went to the store and bought the same size (women 9) and they fit. This appears to be a serious quality control issue and not what I expected from llbean

Disappointed. I really didn't like the heavy "fuzz" on the outside of the slipper!

I ordered a pair of dark brown slippers. Upon opening the box, I found one dirty tan slipper, period. Obviously a return . Never had this problem before. Contacted Customer Service and they addressed it.

I bought these a week ago and was so excited, I had a pair last year I absolutely raved about that were so stuffed with shearling that they felt like walking on pillows at first. The ones that just arrived have easily 50% less shearling and it makes a HUGE difference in comfort. Not as good. So disappointing

LL Bean slippers used to last years. I bought these slippers on 1/4/25 and only wore them indoors in our clean house for four months. They starting wearing through the exterior wool after two months, revealing the brown ties beliow. The backs of the slippers will not stay up, which is truly annoying, and yes, they are my size. The most troubling aspect of these slippers is the tripping hazard. The laces will not stay tied even when double knotted. I am a senior and this is quite problematic. Perhaps a lawsuit would prepare the company to be more careful about their products. In light of what I have experienced, I would like to be sent a complimentary pair of mule slippers with rubber soles, ones without ties. Thank you.

The slippers had zero support. Not sure I would have minded 20 years ago but these middle aged knees and arch require support today. Also, they kept sliding off as I walked. They are real cute though; just really uncomfortable...

Got these slippers as a gift to myself for Christmas. I really wanted to love them because they kept my feet the perfect temperature. First issue is that they are constantly coming untied. I have a narrow foot, so I need them tied. Second issue is that the padding where my heel is left the slipper within 6 weeks. And finally last week when I went to tie the left slipper it abruptly ripped right up to the side! If you make slipper that has these kinds of laces that don't stay tied at least make the top stronger. Very disappointed and already initiated a return. I want to order another pair, but I don't see a good alternative with LL Bean for a narrow foot.

Purchased last day of Dec 2024. Not as well made as regular Mocs purchased in 2020 which I still wear. Reported the poorer quality - stitching absent, inside padding disappeared quickly.

They used to be, but I guess like everything else, LLBean has decided to cheapen their impeccable quality. I will no longer purchase these slippers. The backs don't even come up as far on my ankle anymore. Not happy with this purchase at all and am done with LLBean. Definitely not the quality I have always had w/these slippers.

Tried on a pair in store and they fit perfect but wanted different color. Ordered the color and they were easily a size too big and much too wide. Almost as though someone had worn and returned. So Returned them. But had to pay for return which made me decide no more buying from a company which charges returns for items that are incorrectly sized.
