I love Bean's Men's Wicked Good Moccasins, and have worn out two pairs. That took years to accomplish!
I ordered and got a new pair of 12 Wide EE, but the sole is narrower than my old 12 Wide (and I think those were EEE). Called customer service, who were very nice, and they sent me a second pair of 12 Wide EE just in case there was a mislabling error. Second pair the same problem. Regardless, I sent both pairs back. That was easy-peasy.
Now, I feel like Shoeless Joe Jackson!

I couldn't find the width measurements but I got 11 medium D. It is too narrow. I am trying to exchange for the wider one but the exchange process isn't as easy as it should be. This is really frustrating.

I have had several pair of your moccasins over the years. Loved them. The last few times I have ordered them, they are too narrow. I even put them up against my old pair and the new ones were a good 3/8ths of an inch narrower. They were not a true wide width EE like the ones I've bought from you in the past. I am now buying Old Friend moccasins. Thank you

I had hopes for these but was sorely disappointed by the fit not being even close. The box was labeled 13W and I checked the label inside this shoe and it was 13W. Check the picture that shows Bean's "wide" shoe versus the wide I'm currently wearing! Either these were mislabeled or the manufacturing plug is wrong. Now I must spend more money to return these for a refund.
Disappointed,

Though both the right and left slippers were marked 10W, the right slipper was much more narrow than the left. They looked and fit like a mis-matched pair. I sent them back. I am a bit disappointed in LL Bean's level of quality control. The problem was easily visible and simple inspection would have resulted in the pair being rejected before they were sold. I have been a Bean customer for over 45 years, and quality control problems are rare, so I was a bit surprised by this pair of slippers.

Looked like something was amiss at first glance. Looked like two right foot shoes. Such a disappointment as was a birthday present.

I've had mine for about 3 months now and I went through 2 pairs. The first one tore, as did the second pair. They constantly come untied for no reason, and the fit is very lazy. They also flatten at the same rate as cheap slippers.
Do yourself a favor and avoid.

Purchased Nov 2019 and wore until March 2020 just indoors. Size was right and comfort was good, but lining completely wore away immediately. Back ankle support is flimsy now so the shoe doesn't stay on my foot.
So sad wanted to love these!

Very disappointed in L L Beean; the quality has really taken a dive. An $80 dollar slipper not worth $30; no support. slipper just collapses and folds.

Shoes obviously assembled by two different people. Right shoe is perfect and classic style. Left shoe is not stitched the same in the toe. It is squared off compared to the rounded point of the right mocassin. I am disappointed as I paid full price for a Fathers Day present and my husband is too kind to complain or return. His first pair lasted years through obvious abuse and he was glad to get a new pair.

Item was out of shape after first wearing. Continuously had to tie the the bows on the moccasins. In my business career I sold LLean different products. At that time LL Bean had a product review committee
before purchasing products. Not sure if they still have the committee if so this product was not up to LL Bean standards that I expected

Bought these for my husband. He is disappointed in these slippers. Just like I am disappointed in the women's version of it. They fit so great when he first got them. But now a whole year later, the material has stretched out terribly and they no longer fit right around his feet. He only used them as slippers around my house. I truly expected these to last a lot longer. I will not be buying them again.

I got these based on the reviews at wirecutter. They were cozy and warm but I really question their longevity. My right slipper started ripping at the bend where the seam is. I only use these during the "cold" months in California so i expected them to last a little longer.

The fur has worn away throughout the area of the ball of my foot. It's now slightly uncomfortable, sticks to the foot. This started a few months in, now (just over a year later), completely worn down. I'd love them if they lasted more than a year.

I order moccasins in same size as St.John's Bay brand I've worn for years. The LL Bean moccasins were too long and too wide. I have cancer in my pelvis and legs and have to use a Walker. I wore them around the house for a day and kept tripping because of them. I was worried about falling, so I packed them back up and took them to the nearest drop off which is 10 miles from home. I exchanged them for 13 M. When they arrived they were so small I couldn't get me feet into them. Half sizes are not available in 13, so I just have an expensive pair of LL Bean moccasins which I will never be able to wear. Really disappointed since any items I've bought in the past have been excellent quality. I have an LL Bean parka I've had for nearly 20 years and several polo shirts that wear seemingly forever. So, these are the first purchase that have been unsatisfactory.

Bought 2 months ago for my 28 year old son. He only wears them as slippers so does not walk any distance in them but the insole is already down to the rubber under the big toe on the left foot and the 4th and 5th toes on the right foot. He does not have any foot "problems" or irregularities. Very disappointed this has happened since we loves the moccasins and wears them every day after work. I would not recommend them.

Slippers arrived and upon opening package immediately noticed that they had a very strong smell of sewer. I waited over a week hoping the smell would go away, but it did not. I ordered a replacement pair and they too had the same smell, but not as pungent. I sent both pairs back. I have had 3-4 pairs of these slippers in the past without any smell issues.
When I asked in an email if anyone else had reported the same issue I did not receive a response.
I obtained a new pair of slippers from another maker.

I've worn size 12-D shoes for 60 years. My last pair of dress shoes and running shoes were 12 D. I ordered 12 D in this moccasin and couldn't get my foot into it at all. I returned them and ordered 12 EE. Though the length is fine and I can get them on, they are so tight in the width they are uncomfortable. I literally wore holes in a pair of these moccasins years ago and they fit wonderfully. Are there no recognizable shoe size standards in the US? My wife says wear them to stretch them, but I shouldn't have to do that. There will be no more LL Bean shoes in my future.

I recommend caution before you purchase this product. I purchased two pairs several years ago. After light use, the rubber/plastic outsoles have chemically decomposed and are falling apart. The material is very low quality and is basically turning into something between putty and powder. Sad to see LL Bean cut corners on the materials they use to make their products.

I bought these slippers for my husband. He complained there was not enough padding in the heels. I am going to return them.

I decided to purchase these as comfortable shoes to wear at home. The lining was fine but the fit was not good. The toe area was too narrow and the back of the shoe was too wide. Will not purchase again.

My husband likes them very much. As for me, they leave scuff marks all over my wood flooring so I wish hadn't given him these for a gift.

Didn't last a year before the shearling was completely worn from the heel. Maybe that's to be expected, but I'm of average height and weight and wore them for lounging around mostly at night before bed. The replacement pair I was given for Christmas this year showed a decline in quality. I had ordered a size up last year as the shearling was so thick that the mocs were very snug to begin with (looked just like the mocs in the video on the product page with thick, fluffy shearling). That was not the case this time, and there is a marked difference in the thickness of the shearling, even when compared to my year-old pair where the shearling has compressed over time; so much so that they're quite loose. I don't expect these to last and won't be getting another pair for myself or anyone else.
