The fur has worn away throughout the area of the ball of my foot. It's now slightly uncomfortable, sticks to the foot. This started a few months in, now (just over a year later), completely worn down. I'd love them if they lasted more than a year.

I order moccasins in same size as St.John's Bay brand I've worn for years. The LL Bean moccasins were too long and too wide. I have cancer in my pelvis and legs and have to use a Walker. I wore them around the house for a day and kept tripping because of them. I was worried about falling, so I packed them back up and took them to the nearest drop off which is 10 miles from home. I exchanged them for 13 M. When they arrived they were so small I couldn't get me feet into them. Half sizes are not available in 13, so I just have an expensive pair of LL Bean moccasins which I will never be able to wear. Really disappointed since any items I've bought in the past have been excellent quality. I have an LL Bean parka I've had for nearly 20 years and several polo shirts that wear seemingly forever. So, these are the first purchase that have been unsatisfactory.

Bought 2 months ago for my 28 year old son. He only wears them as slippers so does not walk any distance in them but the insole is already down to the rubber under the big toe on the left foot and the 4th and 5th toes on the right foot. He does not have any foot "problems" or irregularities. Very disappointed this has happened since we loves the moccasins and wears them every day after work. I would not recommend them.

Slippers arrived and upon opening package immediately noticed that they had a very strong smell of sewer. I waited over a week hoping the smell would go away, but it did not. I ordered a replacement pair and they too had the same smell, but not as pungent. I sent both pairs back. I have had 3-4 pairs of these slippers in the past without any smell issues. When I asked in an email if anyone else had reported the same issue I did not receive a response. I obtained a new pair of slippers from another maker.

I've worn size 12-D shoes for 60 years. My last pair of dress shoes and running shoes were 12 D. I ordered 12 D in this moccasin and couldn't get my foot into it at all. I returned them and ordered 12 EE. Though the length is fine and I can get them on, they are so tight in the width they are uncomfortable. I literally wore holes in a pair of these moccasins years ago and they fit wonderfully. Are there no recognizable shoe size standards in the US? My wife says wear them to stretch them, but I shouldn't have to do that. There will be no more LL Bean shoes in my future.

I recommend caution before you purchase this product. I purchased two pairs several years ago. After light use, the rubber/plastic outsoles have chemically decomposed and are falling apart. The material is very low quality and is basically turning into something between putty and powder. Sad to see LL Bean cut corners on the materials they use to make their products.

I bought these slippers for my husband. He complained there was not enough padding in the heels. I am going to return them.

I decided to purchase these as comfortable shoes to wear at home. The lining was fine but the fit was not good. The toe area was too narrow and the back of the shoe was too wide. Will not purchase again.

My husband likes them very much. As for me, they leave scuff marks all over my wood flooring so I wish hadn't given him these for a gift.

Didn't last a year before the shearling was completely worn from the heel. Maybe that's to be expected, but I'm of average height and weight and wore them for lounging around mostly at night before bed. The replacement pair I was given for Christmas this year showed a decline in quality. I had ordered a size up last year as the shearling was so thick that the mocs were very snug to begin with (looked just like the mocs in the video on the product page with thick, fluffy shearling). That was not the case this time, and there is a marked difference in the thickness of the shearling, even when compared to my year-old pair where the shearling has compressed over time; so much so that they're quite loose. I don't expect these to last and won't be getting another pair for myself or anyone else.

Bought these as a gift for a friend that loves LLBean and has ordered and loved this item (or similar item) years ago. Very disappointed with the fur inside. It's rough and not soft like you would think it should be.

First pr purchased couple yrs ago were size 12W and fit good. Next pair last X-Mas size 12W too big, so ordered most recent pr size 11W and they're still too big. All other footware size 12W and fit ok. Truly disappointed for such pricey slippers. Expected way more from LL Bean.

Just got off the phone with customer service. I am not sure what's more disappointing; the mocs or the attitude of customer service. I purchased two pair; one for my husband and one for my son. My husband's seem to be holding their own; my son's not so much. The mocs are worn as house slippers and my son takes excellent care of his shoes and boots. The lining is falling apart and they have become uncomfortable. The slippers are either 1 or 2 years old. How long should one expect a slipper to last? Do I have unreasonable expectations?

Falling apart after only one year. For the price, grossly disappointing. I can get this quality each November when department stores stock up on mass produced slippers. Kind of a shame.

I've owned numerous pairs of these slippers over the years and have always been very satisfied them them. They are like walking on clouds. However, the latest pair I received for Christmas last year wore our very quickly, like after several months. The lining has obviously changed from previous versions and now falls apart easily. After several months, chucks of lining started falling out and would end up between my toes. Wish they lasted as well as the old versions. The outside lasts forever, but who want to wear slippers that still look great on the outside but have no lining left? No me.

I have been buying these slippers for years, the last 2 pairs the lining wears out very quickly (within a few months) and ll bean considers it normal wear. In the past the lining would get matted but you would not get bald spots

I received the Wicked Good Moccasins as a gift because I kept stealing my boyfriends. He's had his for about 3 years and wears them occasionally. I've had mine about 1 1/2 years and wear them daily. In the past 4 months both pairs have worn completely through in the heels. I am completely disappointed in the quality for the price these cost.

I have been buying these Moccasins for my wife and I for many years. The last pair I ordered feels like I was sent two right Moccasins. The one used with my left foot looks like a right, and feels like a right, even though the LL Bean tag is on the outside area. I am not happy with the fit. I think they were made incorrectly. Makes me consider not being a future customer after decades of being a satisfied customer.

I have no issues with the fit or comfort of these slippers. If they were better-constructed, I'd love them. Unfortunately, I ordered these in October within about 4 months, the interior started coming out in clumps and the soles started becoming threadbare. The quality of the construction is not very good, unfortunately, and for the price these slippers should last for years when worn for about an hour or two a day inside the house.

No longer the same, 'wicked' is just the past tense of wick. I bought these to replace my three year old ones that wore out. The sole is thinner and more flexible and the over all fit and construction is sloppy so not giving the snug fit it used to have- moves around while walking.. very poor quality.
