I have bought these shoes many times because they are so comfortable. But the reason I only give them 2 stars is because of the price. The price is too high for how long they last. The problem I have is with the inside. The inside comes apart for me in just a few months.

We ordered the EE size width for my husband's size 12 wide feet. When we got them, they said they were only an E width - not the extra wide that the web site said was available. When we called customer service, the representative said that was the only width llbean carries. They shouldn't make the extra wide width an option if that's not what is available.

I have tied these shoelaces 50 times. Why put laces on a bedroom slipper anyway? The shoe is comfortable but buy the one with no shoelaces.

These moccasins are absolutely GREAT - comfortable, functional (easy to slip on and off when laced property) - but there's the rub. Shipped with 32 inch shoelaces which are far too short to even tie a standard knot, let alone the (very good and recommended SEAMAN's\S SHOELACE with the provided link in the product writeup page).
In order to wear these shoes even using a standard knot, I had to buy ($10) a pair of 45" laces which are the correct size for this moccasin.
BAD attention to detail, Bean! Expected better. Should NOT have had to spend an extra $10 on a pair of $70 shoes to be able to wear them.
TWO STAR rating due to the wrong laces. Had these shipped with proper 45" laces, rating would be FIVE STAR.

I ordered 2 pair in a 11 my usual size. They were to short & narrow. I retuned them for a 12 wide. They are to big around the ankle but narrow in the toe area. I can live with that, but the fur wads up between your toes and foot. I can't stand it . It feels like you have Kleenex waded up under your toes.

I really wish I could wear these moccasins as I love the shearling and the look of them, except for the bow in front which I just tie in a knot and cut off the excess. But the toe box is as I look at them now almost comes to a point! My toes just crunch up even with light socks as I was hoping to wear them with heavy socks; winter and all. I am going to order them in the Wide EE next winter and hope the toes will be happy without the whole slipper flopping around. Oh and while I'm at it I wish the flap behind the bow would stay up as I often look down and it is lying down over the front with the shearling facing up! Maybe the j slip-on next year instead

My husband wore these slippers a handful of times and they fell apart. The stitching came apart and slipper inside material showing through seams.

I received a pair of Wicked Good Moccasins as a Xmas present last year-2013. I did not wear them at that time because I still had a pair of other name brand moccasins that I enjoyed. I chose to wear them beginning with the fall of 2014. I have to say that I am disappointed with the quality of this item. The shearling lining has virtually worn away from the inside of the moccasin in 4 months. (See Photos) I expected more from LLBean since I have purchased several items over the years and always been very satisfied. I would not recommend these moccasins to anyone. I guess I have to purchase this type of item in person where I can get a better feel for the quality of craftsmanship.

I bought these for my adult son's birthday a few years ago and they were great. This latest birthday, I ordered two different sizes, the first too large and the second too small. (no half sizes) The major problem was the width. The wide W (EE) is not wide at all and I had to pay $6. 50 in shipping per each pair to send back. Not happy, LL Bean. We've been customers for years.

For some reason these don't feel cozy at all. The wool bunches behind the toes which doesn't feel right and the workmanship appears mediocre at best. I have not worn these very much but the wool is already matted or disarranged (see photos). Disappointed.

2nd pair of these and man what a difference 2 years makes in the quality of this product. I can't believe how they just don't feel as nice anymore, the sole not great, the fur clumped up under toes.
very disappointing.

This is my second pair of Wicked Good Moccasins. The first pair, purchased perhaps 8 or 10 years ago, truly has lived up to its name in every way. The shearling was rich and thick, the tongue came well up on the foot, the stitching was uniform, the leather shoestring and adjustment string enclosed around the side and back, the width generous. This was an exceptionally comfortable and attractive slipper that represented the quality, comfort and value I've always expected- and received- with LL Bean products.
This replacement pair is a huge disappointment - wicked mediocre at best, more like a pair from a bargain shoe store than from LL Bean. In every category noted above - shearling, tongue, stitching, adjustment string, and width, these slippers are decidedly inferior.

My present Wicked Goods are finally looking pretty ratty.(my wife's words) I ordered some new ones and they were poorly constructed in that the left slipper had the sole attached off center. Upon contacting LLB the service was rapid and efficient as you would expect. However the replacement had an unacceptable fit. I hope this is just an isolated anomaly. I'm going to try ordering of another style.

Cramped, uncomfortable fit, despite following sizing guidance. No support and extremely thin outsole limits their use to indoor floors only. Trips to the mailbox had better be short, and on smooth paved surfaces .....
Value at this price point is questionable, considering fit/performance and the overall very light construction (e.g., single stitching throughout, etc.) Hate to buck the trend of hundreds of positive reviews, but I can't recommend these, unless they are on sale at a steep discount. Returned the pair I purchased.

I purchased these via LLBean.com and, while they were comfy and fit well, the stitching on one of the slippers was shifted at least an inch from where it should have been causing the slipper to look unbalanced. I am disappointed in this quality and brought them back for a refund.

I have purchased these slippers several times over the years. I use them constantly in and outdoors. This time I immediately noticed that they are about an inch shorter in the back. This means my heel keeps slipper out, and also means snow gets in when I take the dogs out. Returning them. Going to try the Moc Boots. Was hoping to save the $10 since these only last 2 years with my use.

I received the first pair which were amazingly soft and seemed well constructed. Only problem was that they were a size to big and my heel kept slipping out while walking.
My wife then purchased the exact same mocs one size down. I was pretty excited to get them, but as soon as I put them on I could tell they were different from the first pair.
Even with the smaller size my heel was still slipping out which is frustrating. Even more frustrating was there was a significant and noticeable difference in the quality and texture of the wool that lined the mocs. I've attached pictures where it is clear there is a difference in material.
I really expected more out of a pair of $70 mocs. I wouldn't recommend buying these online. Luckily the L.L. Bean store is close to my wife's work, but when we went back to the store the third time they didn't carry the other mocs in the store (the ones with a higher rise that cover the heel and ankle).
Anyway hope this review helps anyone that is on the fence about the mocs. Great potential, but was a headache for us.

I've worn out several pairs of these over the last 25 years. Alas, when I replaced the most recent pair this fall, I found that the design of the slipper had changed, with a different fit, and worst of all, the label was sewn into the seam between the sole and the side of the moc, right where it would rub and scratch the arch of my foot! I had to rip the labels out to be able to wear them. Terrible design change for the label alone. Come on!

The shearling in the foot bed bunches up and makes the shoe uncomfortable. I purchased the wide shoe size but they still feel narrow.

I received these as a gift. Wore out in less than a year. Hole around toe in about 6 months and I do not wear them in summer. Also would not stay tied. Got tired of tying double knots, but would still come undone eventually. Wish they lasted longer and did not have laces on them, as laces are pretty much useless. Comfortable and warm when worn. I would think LL Bean would have better quality.

After purchasing and then exchanging this shoe a few times due to manufacturer defects, I finally received a very comfortable pair. (L.L.Bean provided great service.) Unfortunately, after the first few days, the shoes would NOT stay tied. Had to re-tie them multiple times a day, even after a double knot. Finally had to cut the laces off! In the meantime, the inside soles started falling apart.
For the price, I had much higher expectations of this moccasin.

The tag is on the inside on the bottom, so it hits the arch of your foot. Why? This is really, really uncomfortable. Sure I can probably cut it, but then I'll have a raw edge hitting the arch of my foot. I'm sending them back. This is not what Bean quality should be. Why would you put a tag there?
Too bad as they are otherwise comfortable, though they are narrow. I wear a normal width. If you wear a wider shoe, these aren't for you. But then again, with the tag right under your arch, I can't recommend them for anyone.

Ok I bought these slippers in January because it was cold. They fit great and have felt amazing. Other than winter I wear maybe once or twice a month. They are starting to tear-up inside. I only weigh 160Lbs so it cant be my weight. Just saying...

I just returned mine that i had for 6 months the lining on the inside wore out all the way down to the rubber sole for $69 i would think they would last a little more than half a year. Granted I wear them everyday when I'm in the residence hall at school, but that's what slippers are for to be worn around inside. Other than that they are warm and comfortable hopefully this pair will last me longer.

I have an old pair and wanted to replace them but dear lord these are ugly. The soles are much thicker and make them appear and feel bulkier than the handsome classic from some just a short time ago. Sadly, the quality is still good but this "improved" model shall be returned to you ASAP.
Bring back what was never broken.
