Bought for my son who has always worn 9 D shoes and has an older one of these slippers, but new ones are too small and cannot be used. I had the same problem a few years ago and I wear a 9.5 D and ended up giving them away. Evidently the new supplier does not use the same size as before. Most aggravating.

While the quality of the slippers seems okay, they are not the same as the slippers that I have purchased in the past. I am disappointed. I wear a 10 and ordered a size up, but they still seem tight. Maybe they will loosen more as I wear them, but they seem tight to me. Now made in China, I think that LLBean may have given in to profit over quality. What happened?

nice, but the fleece sticks out on left foot, and you CANNOT even see the fleece on the right foot, because it is inverted under the tongue... . Looks UGLY because one shoe has a nice fleece border that sticks out under the tongue, and the other shoe has NO Fleece Border at all.... Not Symmetrical P.S. i ordered 2EE and still not wide enough...

Used recommendation to move up 1/2 size. The slipper is way to big. Would not recommend a bigger size or to even choose this slipper.

Very narrow for ww width - could not get my foot passed the instep! I will try next size up ......... I have found that Bean sizing in most products have been not true to size - especially to the narrow and small size! Not to say mismarked! Product itself quite good (have had a pair before) sizing terrible!

These slippers are so big, they are unwearable. I ordered the same size that I wear in other footwear. Since I wore them for an evening, I feel like I can't return them. I will be donating them to "Big Foot!" I sure wish somebody would get control of sizing in all clothing and make products that actually match standard sizing like they did 40 years ago!

My feet are size 13D, and that is what I ordered. The slippers I received were so small I couldn't get them on. They were exchanged for size 14D. These fit pretty well from the front of my ankle forward. From there back, though, the fit is loose and sloppy. L.L.Bean, you don't get "Wicked Good" from China.

Bought these as a Christmas gift to replace an older pair of the same slippers and there's already two holes in the big toe area by July. Also, my husband says this round of slippers is not as "cushy" as they used to be. What are you doing differently? BOO!

I purchased new slippers with Christmas money and was thrilled, as I have been wearing LL Bean slippers for at least 25 years, and am a lifelong Mainer and Bean customer. Within 2 weeks, the heel of the slipper was coming completely unstitched and detaching from the slipper. I returned them and received a prompt replacement. This time, it was less than a week before the exact same defect showed up in the replacement slippers - both feet! To say I am unimpressed with the quality of these supposedly "Wicked Good" slippers would be a monumental understatement... they cost $80 (!!) and for that price and with a name as bold as "wicked good", they darn well ought to live up to their name (and yours, might I add). I have received a third pair. I am wearing them sparingly, to prolong their life as I am not confident they will last as long as the pair they are replacing. I seriously hope this is a fluke, but that remains to be seen. I hope to remain a loyal customer, but if these new slippers don't satisfy me, I'll definitely be shopping elsewhere.

I bought these for my stepson for Christmas and had to reorder a larger size. They arrived last week and there was an overpowering chemical odor when I opened the bag. I opened the box and tried to air them out. It took a few days but they still smelled. I don't know if they are going to hold up or not. My son wants a pair but I am reluctant with reviews of quality issues.

I've bought slippers for my husband for many years and this is the first time I had to return an item because of problem with the product. After about a week of use the stitching on the heal of the left slipper came undone.

They fall off my feet. Feet sweat when worn without socks. Returning for smaller size and style that also covers ankle so they don't fall off.

After one season of use the fluff on the back heel has completely worn down and the shoe has relaxed/expanded so much that it's almost a size too big. When I asked to exchange I was told no because this is normal wear and tear! How can it be normal after just one season of use? Expected better quality than this.

I purchased the wicked good moccasins for my husband 2 months ago. He has been wearing them for about 1 month. Although they are warm and look good, they have no heel or side support and he told me the sides flop over. I was quite disappointed because the slippers I purchased for him one year ago were more supportive and he would even walk outside with them. I may have gotten the wrong style, but I feel that even a moccasin should offer more support and stability for the feet. I would not purchase these again.

Great slipper BUT the lambs wool lining is so thin that it feel like it's not there. I won't buy these very expensive slippers again. A disappointed Shopper who has bought these slippers many times before.

My CA teen son really wanted these so I splurged for his first real winter in NH. They ripped near the tie within the first week while traveling home to CA where there are no stores. When he went back to NH the following week and tried to exchange them in store he was declined due to too much wear (5 days). These were much too expensive to rip so quickly. Very disappointed. First & last LL Bean purchase for us.

This is the fifth pair of wicked good moccasins I have purchased over the years. This time I got black for a change. The sheepskin feels like cardboard and there is only half the amount of shearling lining compared to other pairs I have gotten. I don't know if is because I got black or they are cutting back on quality to save money but this is disappointing. These use to be the best slippers.

I have owned several pairs of these of these over the years. On my current pair the soles are disintegrating and have developed a hole. Not sure they are worth the price anymore. Considering looking elsewhere for new slippers.

I work from home and cold feet during the winter can affect my productivity. I bought these on the recommendation from NYTimes to replace a pair of low cost boiled wool slippers. These LLBean slippers were amazing at first. My feet were warm and there was no foot sweat. I was blown away how well they performed in keeping my feet warm and dry. However, after about 2 months of daily wear, some of the sheepskin inside wore away (on the sole) or has been matted down, reducing the slippers' effectiveness at keeping your feet warm and dry. In fact, they eventually became very poor performers in keeping my feet warm and dry. I found that I would have to change socks during the day. The slippers also began to suffer from smell. Other than that, the workmanship seemed high. No problems with the soles or broken seams. The leather laces always seem to come undone, but that's not the shoe's fault. Maybe the answer is to buy at minimum two pairs and alternate so that the slippers have an off day to dry and breathe? I'm not convinced that will solve the issue. I think these slippers are only for situations where they get used for a couple hours at most a day. You come home, kick off your regular shoes and slip these on for a few hours. Even then, you might want to alternate a couple pairs.

My husband noticed the fur inside was thick and he was okay with it thinking that the fur would fit his feet after a period of time. The fur lumped around his toes and were extremely uncomfortable. He had two other pairs and they were wonderful. Returning them after 2 months.

First ordered the cheaper slippers, but sent them back as they were too tight. Upgraded to these and got the Wides and one foot is loose. They seem to be well made, but I was hoping for a thicker sole, especially for when I go outside. I should know better than to buy shoes mail order. Sorry, but for me, they're just not worth the price.

Mocs fit well and are warm. However they are made in China-durability is unknown. I will no longer purchase items from LL Bean if they are Chinese made. LL Bean should focus on manufacturing their products in the USA.

I got these for Christmas in 2016, shortly after I got them, the sole started to separate from the shoe. Last fall the leather started to split along the side to the point of no longer being wearable. For the price, they should last much longer than they did
