These slippers were too narrow for my husband. My hope was that the wide sizes from LL Bean would fit his wide foot. But the fit was not even close. To be fair, my husband's foot is very wide.

A long time customer of LL Bean products - apparel, luggage, shoes- I got these last Dec to replace a pair of LL Bean slippers that had lasted for over 20 years. These are not yet a year old and already the sheepskin lining is worn almost completely away and there is a separation in the seam of one. I hope these issues are an anomaly as I intend to order another pair of Bean slippers... BUT NOT THIS STYLE. One year of wear? at this price, that's riodiculous

It has been an annual event that I got my wicked good moccasins from LL Bean for over 20 years. However, in the last few, I've noticed the quality has deteriorated substantially. My latest pair were produced in Myanmar. I have been an LL Bean customer for over 30 years. To their credit, I still have flannel shirts and jackets that are over 10 years old. LL Bean used to be my most preferred brand. I so wish they would have stuck to their heritage.

I like them, I don't think they will last too long. I worn them a little for a few weeks and the inside fur is really starting to wear already and get thin.

The moccasins fit but within a couple of days I seemed to be walking to the inside of the left slipper. It getting to the point that I can't wear them. I purchased them August 28th. Today I noticed that the rubber sole is much thicker on the outside which is causing my foot to slide to the inside. The pair I purchased a couple years ago developed holes in the sides where it looked like the leather was thinner. I gave them another try but this will be my last pair. It's a shame the l.l. Bean has come to this. I no longer buy the flannel shirts that were my staple wear due to quality now the Wicked Good Moccasins.

So I was so excited to receive these slippers! But when they arrived one showed up like in the picture but not the other one. The other one appeared to have had the wool cut off the tongue of the slipper so none was showing over the leather. Which I thought whatever easy fix I can just cut some off the other side to make them look even. Which I did and they looked fine! But now after wear them a couple weeks only at night. It appears the top of the toes are already coming loose Really sucks because my fianc has a pair from a few years ago and they are still holding up great! Kind of the reason I bought these but unfortunately not very satisfied with my pair.

Not wide enough, no heel support, "Made in Myanmar." L.L. Bean used to stand for quality. Disappointed, returning.

The slippers do not match up to their counterparts I had purchased from the Bean Co. several years back. The slippers are on half inch lower in stature. I am considering returning them.

I went outside my budget just to get a better slipper....not worth my money! Started deteriorating within a month, the sheepskin started matting down on the back, the 'tongue' started rolling up, junk!
May as well buy the cheaper slippers! Very disappointed!
Frustrating,

These are holding up well because my husband hardly wears them. When he walks on the wood or tile floors it sounds like he's wearing his dress shoes. He won't put them on when he gets up during the night because they are so noisy it wakes me up.

Hi I like your slippers but have a complaint that my foot seems to walk to the side of it not sure if it's the molded soul or what for the price I would have thought it would be more stable and keep my foot flatly planted.

So far I am unimpressed with the LL Bean Moccasins that I received. They were back ordered and took 5 months to arrive. I have 2 older pairs that I have been pleased with for many years. The new ones feel tight and confining and make my feet hurt. I know that as I wear them the lining will pack down and some of it will rub off making them a little less warm and a little more comfortable to wear, but my immediate reaction is that they are neither the width or length specified.

Husband has been wearing these slippers for years. Always size 10 Wide fit him well. This year the Wide is nearly 1/2 inch more narrow than prior year's slippers. We measured from the outsole, edge to edge. Is this a Bean cost saving measure or just improperly labeled slipper? Not willing to take a chance that the slipper is mislabeled so not reordering.
I returned these slippers.

... seems to me that there is a manufactures' error in the construction of this product. Every time I put these on they look funny.

The leather edge on both moccasins by the ankle are too firm, not soft enough. They chafe my ankle and will cause soreness/blisters. I am size 10.5 so they are just a touch too small, but even if they were size 11 the same chafing problem would occur. I will have to return the moccasins and ask for a refund, because it's not clear the current manufacturing process for any of the moccasins in this line will fix the underlying problem. I have an older pair from 2017-2018 and the leather edges are soft and were soft from the start, so this seems to be a newer issue.

A badly worn area has developed in the heel of my left shoe. Rawhide strings continually unties and have to be knotted to remain off the ground.

This product has leather laces. They are nearly impossible to keep properly tied. The laces are long enough that, if one becomes untied and this is not noticed and immediately corrected, the dangling length of leather thong is long enough to cause a fall, especially in the elderly. Falls in the elderly can be serious and even life-threatening. My pair are pretty well worn out, and I think I am going to tie a knot in the lace of each, cut off the long lace left over such that it cannot dangle over the side of the moccasin, and apply some Gorilla Glue to the knot. I am looking for moccasins that either stay tied or use another method to secure the moccasins to the foot. The condition of my feet is such that I can never go barefoot, indoors or out.

I purchased these in black for my husband for Christmas 2019. He LOVED them. He never wears them outdoors. Puts them on first thing in the morning and in the evening till bedtime. They came untied constantly. This morning he showed me 2 areas where the seam came apart on the side of his foot. I purchased these because I wanted him to have a nice pair of slippers that lasted many years. I'm so disappointed in the poor quality, I expected these to last for years.

I purchased these slippers for my husband. When I took them out of the box, I thought there might be a problem. I noticed the tag was located in the bottom seam along the side, aiming up and was rather stiff, I didn't say anything and waited to see what he said. When he tried them on, he said he liked them except they were not comfortable, the strangely placed tag was irritating so I had to return them.

If you do not care about looks, this pair is for you. from the moment they came out of the box. The right hand moc tonque folded forward. No amount of coaxing could persuade it to stay put. Please advise!!!
