I ordered these slippers for our family at Christmas. Because there are only whole sizes, it was suggested to go up to the next whole size. Big mistake. I had to reorder all the 1/2 sizes, about 6 people.
The size down fit perfect an all cases, four women's wicked good moc and three men's wicked good boot moc.

Bought a pair for Christmas 2009 and they are terrific - very warm and good for running out for the paper or to the mailbox. After the second winter, the top of one mocacasin where the rawhide ties ripped. I called customer service and they immediately sent me a new pair. Excellent customer service.

A lot of the reviews mention a problem with keeping the laces tied. Here's a trick I learned from a friend who is a sailboat rigger who needs to keep his boat shoes tied at all times. After you make the first loop with one end of the lace, wrap the other end of the lace around that first loop TWICE before completing the knot. Then just make sure to cinch the knot tightly and it should hold very well. Hope this helps!

I wear these every where all year long in all kinds of weather. They typically last me over a year depending upon how wet they get. I get the Men's size, since they do not offer this style in the women's. I get a size bigger than I need so that I can wear socks in the winter and in the dead of summer the extra room allows my foot to breath more. LOVE, LOVE this moc. Just wish I knew when and if they ever go on sale, cause I would buy 2 pairs to have on hand when my current pair wears out.

I've been buying slippers from LL Bean for years. They are a bi-annual gift for my elderly mother - the wicked good true moccasin style lasts her 2 years (she saves her older pair for going outside to get the paper, to Dr. appointments, while traveling, etc.). I however wear the clog style and they didn't quite make it 10 months before my big toe went thru. The support & tread are still good, I guess I'll use them outside for gardening. Suggestion: put an extra piece of hide material over the toes of the clogs, this in my opinion will give the buyer extended life. I do believe in these slippers, so will give them another shot.. I am ordering my moms mocs, my clogs and a pair of moccassins for my husband - we'll see how long they last this time...

I have a pair of the original Wicked Good Moccasins and loved the fit, warmth and comfort. In October of 2010, I purchased another pair but the slipper had been redesigned. The sole is more robust and there is more fleece inside the slipper and those are good things. The heal support is lacking and the overall fit is just not the same as the older style. Not sure what the goal was here but LL Bean should bring back the older version and keep them in stock.

I purchased these slippers in brown for my boyfriend and he loves them. I've tried them on and they are very warm, soft, and comfortable! I should have bought a pair for me too! I was worried that they would look girly because of the fur and the bow, but they do not look girly at all. The color of the fir is different than it looks in the picture. It is more of a cream with tan marbling. Which is great because that was another concern I had when I ordered them. I worried that he might stain/discolor the white fur quickly.

The slots in the tongue for the rawhide laces ripped out the first time that I tried to retie the rawhide. Not Wicked Good.

This is my second pair of Wicked Good Mocs. I bought my first pair ~10 years ago and they are incredible. I finally wore through the sole, and bought another pair. Unfortunately, the shearling on my brand new Mocs are significantly thinner/flimsier than the shearling on my decade old pair. I used to recommend these shoes to everyone, now I'm not sure I will

A gift for my boyfriend .The right shoe stitching on top "looks" like it was ment to be a right shoe. Bends a little to the right and looks odd, overall still a nice pair of slippers.

The last time i bought these mocs, I don't remember a problem keeping the laces tied when they were new. This pair simply won't stay tied, no matter what I try. I've been given tips from friends and friends of friends to try to solve my dilema, but so far the laces have evaded every trick. The latest was soaking them in warm water and tying them as tightly as possible while still wet. That test is still in progress!

Warm but the quality control was very poor! Left different from the right. Stitching very close to the edge and will never last! Inside for totally different with one very thin! Sides length different! We'll see how long they last. Not two months old and at 80.00 not worth.Warm

Comfortable after I had to trim out some course stif thread poking up in both shoes. Looked almost like monofilament fishing line. Almost returned them but knew it would be a big hassle. Clipped off all the stif sharp threads and ended up with Comfortable slippers.

My problem with these slippers are the ties. No matter how hard I try they don't stay tied. I am 72 and am afraid of tripping and falling. They're very comfortable but I am leary of walking in them.

The 12W mocs looked nice, but I found them disappointing. They fit fine and were OK while sitting. But when I stood up and walked in them, they were uncomfortable. So I reject the "wicked good" description and am returning them. I will continue to enjoy walking around my house in the LL Bean rubber Coastal Clogs (like Crocs) that I got from Bean many years ago. I bought a second pair as soon as I tried out the first pair because they were perfectly comfortable for walking. I wore out the first pair just recently and am now wearing the second pair. The Coastal Clogs were one of the best buys I ever made at Bean. If I lived in Maine, I would call them wicked good. Around here, they earn the name "sweet."

It's a pain in the neck that they do not stay tied no matter what you do.

The shearling filled slippers were a little sparse (not as much) as the previous slippers I had purchased/received in the past. A bit disappointed

The quality looked fine, except they were too small, even accounting for how the downy part will flatten a bit with time.

You have most likely lost me as a customer. A neighbor has a pair exactly like mine. He paid $30 you charged $90 plus shipping.

I bought these as a Christmas gift to my husband to replace his moccasin-style slippers from another brand that lasted five years until he wore holes in the leather.
The pros: these are cozy slippers. They fit true to size and look good.
The cons: after about a week of indoor wear, the stitching on one of the heels started coming undone. I will attempt to repair it with a sewing awl, but I expected better quality from L.L.Bean.

The leather laces look nice, but aren't worth a hoot for staying tied. I've tried doubling the bow with no success. They need a different type of lace that stays tied on its own. Otherwise the mocs are comfortable to wear.

Great slippers, but the furry slippers started to come up on the toe area.

Ordered wide but still not wide enough. Leather laces won't stay tied. Moccasin not worth 80 dollars. Really disappointed.
