I bought a pair of these years ago and although they were an excellent pair of slippers, they did have a problem with moisture (sweat). I wore them without socks and the warmth made my feet sweat and this caused the lining to become matted down and hard in some areas. BUT, with socks...excellent! So I just ordered a new pair and will always wear with socks. But like many shoes today, I ordered a larger size than I am. I measure at size 10 and regular width but, like my last pair, ordered an 11 EE.

I only gave them a good rating. They only sell in half sizes and you have to go up to the next size. Mine feel ok but fit slightly loose due to being slightly large. If they were the half size down they would be perfect.

Glad to see wide option. Last pair lasted almost forever.. These are a better fit. Warm, comfortable and sole make these great to walk out for the paper! Definitely pricey but will wear for winters to come.

Warm and comfortable moccasins. Only problem is the rawhide laces that will not stay tied. Maybe Super Glue will prevent tripping over the laces!

I've owned these now for 2 years and I have to say that they're my favorite thing to put on my feet! They're warm but let your feet breathe. The laces are a little tricky as many have noted, but this is no different than any other raw hide lace. The thing that keeps me from making this a 5 star is that the footbed is not replaceable. After 2 years, the only thing wearing out is the inside sole. It's disintegrating because I wear them all the time. As others have noted, a call to customer service would probably get them replaced, but I can't in good conscious say I'm not satisfied. I also can't justify shelling out full price when the ones I have are 90% fine. Replacement soles are sold for other footwear pieces... why not these? I would spend $20 to replace the insoles.

I've had these for a year now and do love them, but would like to suggest to the reader to rethink about getting these with laces. The slipper itself is great: warm, fits fine, easy to walk outside. The laces, however, come undone... all the time. No matter how tight I pull they will not stay tied for very long, and I've tripped over it more than a few times. If I had to purchase another pair I would never get the laces again. Just something to think about before ordering.

Very comfortable Moccasins, but you will spend a lot of time trying different knots to try to keep the "laces" tied as they constantly come untied. The worst knot is the knot they ship with -- lasts about an hour of walking around.

I've had these mocs for about 2 weeks. I wear a 9.5 wide woman's shoe. I bought the men's moccasins hoping they would be wide enough. They are a bit snug in the width and a little too long, but I know they will stretch and a smaller size would be too tight. The fur inside the mocs is so soft and keeps my feet extra warm. The moc is sewn together with some sort of twine-looking string, not leather like I've seen with other mocs. The sole of the shoe is thick and sturdy... more like a regular shoe, which made the mocs heavier than I thought they'd be. Over all I like them, but I think I'll start to LOVE them once I break them in more.

I am enjoying my latest pair of Wicked Good Moccasins, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to keep the laces tied! They appear nice, but serve no useful function and come untied constantly.

I wear size 9 and these are just a bit tight when I wear socks...you may want to go up a half size. Otherwise, warm, comfortable slippers that I really like. I would love them if they fit properly.

This is my first purchase from LL Bean, and I've been looking at Moccasins for a while. Even though they were backordered, I got them in a short time. They fit comfortably, plenty of width, and the length is true to fit. Only complaint is the laces come undone pretty easily. Overall I would recommend them, as they are warm and comfortable.

Slippers are very warm and comfortable. Had WalM**t before. They last about 2 months before the soles crack. We'll see how these compare.

I grew tired of buying slippers during the "after holidays" sales that always wear-out after a couple months and decided to buy up and get a better pair. These wicked good mocs have been worn pretty much every day for 2 weeks now. My only complaint is that the fur kinda "balled-up" under the front bottom of my right foot but it seems to be flattening out a bit as I wear them. No problem with the left foot. I almost sent them back after two days but decided to take a longer look since the guarantee is "lifetime." I searched around for a wide width and these fit like I had hoped. They do well with or without socks. I don't regret spending the extra cash and hope they will last a good long time. So far, so good.

I have owned a number of these over the years. I always wear them with socks and take good care of them but this time the innersoles have started to deteriorate - get all crumbly and start to break down. Never had this problem before. I called and was told to send them back for an exchange which I appreciate but I'm wondering if the new ones with ultimately have the same problem. These are only about a year old.

I received a pair of these several years ago. As many other reviews state, they are incredibly comfortable and warm. The hard soles are great for quick jaunts outside. My old slippers would soak through if I went out onto the deck when it was wet. I walk in these 100 yards out to our mailbox no problem. The top seam in the back has come apart on mine a bit, but after several years of stepping on the backs putting them on and tugging on the backs to pull them on. Also, after several years, some of the fluffy lining has worn away down to the leather. I know that LL Bean would warranty them, but I feel that I got my fair use out of them and that they still do their job anyway. I'll put another pair on my Christmas wish list for next year. I was gifted a pair of elkhides this year for wearing at the office.

As others have mentioned, the lining wears out. The last pair I bought in March 2015 wore out faster than any other pair I've owned (on 4th pair now). I returned them (1st time doing this) and a new pair is on its way. Despite this, I love these slippers. They are warm, provide support, look nice, are cushiony and soft and work great for short trips down the driveway. The exterior always holds up well. I have very finicky feet, (bunyons and a hx of a broken metatarsal, surgery, ouch) and these slippers just work for me. I'm also a women's size 11, and buy the men's version. Love them. Especially the chocolate brown ones, which are a rich and satisfying color. Wicked awesome.

These are very nice slippers and I'm glad I bought them. If you are considering keep in mind that the shearling lining makes for a snug fit especially in the beginning. The laces can be loosened to help. My only problem with these is the sizing tag in both slippers that is positioned right below the instep. As the lining compacts this tag becomes more exposed and chafes against my feet. I'll probably end up cutting it off but it would be nice if it was positioned elsewhere by design.

I have wide feet and I am between sizes 9/10. So, I ordered up a size. The width is almost perfect. It is slightly longer than would be comfortable for picking up your step and hurrying along. I should've tried on the 9 wide, maybe. Of course, who plans on running in these? Well, me. If I find a good pair of slippers I will wear them everywhere, far beyond the "short jaunt to the corner store" which always shows up in the copy for sturdy slippers. Which is to say, I use the slippers beyond their intended use (and no, I don't want to switch to driving loafers or other slipper-ish shoes). Given these elevated standards, I don't quite have what I want, but these are by far the best slippers i've found. By whatever quirk of the combination of my anatomy and the fur lining; my left pinky toes occasionaly curl up and rub up to my other digits.

First off, I absolutely love the way these feel on my feet. They are very soft and very warm and feel like walking on a cloud. The only problem, and the reason I deducted a star, is that they are too wide in the instep area. If they were about a half-inch to an inch narrower there I would give them 5 stars.

Absolutely love the slippers...inside, outside, and sole. Wear them both indoors and outdoors to the mailbox and even running around town in the winter! very warm and comfy. Only one question, my feet tend to sweat a bit, and the soft lining becomes a bit black and hardened. Can the inside be cleaned? I would never wear socks with these slippers.

I have used these moccasins for years. When the eventuallly wear out (after several years), i just buy another pair. Very comfortable and I love the sole that allows you to walk outside in them. My only complaint is that the leather string will not stay tied and I have to retie them every day or so. By the way, in my opinion, LL Bean is the greatest! Great quality items, fair prices, and they stand behind every item they sell. I have never had a problem of any kind with LLBean. Thank you LLBean!!

I love these. The fit is excellent and it is so handy to have a house slipper that I can wear outside on occasion. I buy a pair about every year, maybe 2 in 3 years. They don't wear out, but the fleece lining does wear down. I didn't give them 5 stars only because the fleece liner doesn't seem to be replaceable. I have 2 older pair with nothing else wrong with them, but I don't quite have the chutzpah to return them for that reason alone; I just keep the others for backup. I wish they would offer a refurbishing service. I'll buy them again when I need to and definitely recommend them to my friends.
