I would have ordered these sooner if you had wide widths.

Bought these for my son for Christmas. His old pair had gotten pretty ratty looking, but still good for outside his mountain home. Now he has a new pair for inside use

I buy a pair of these each year as my Christmas gift to myself. I use these nearly every day of the year - and wear out a pair every couple of years. So I'm very familiar with these Mocs. I like them for the durability, warmth, and traction for the quick trips outdoors to let the dog outside. Never have I had an issue with size or durability - I've never had a pair "fall apart" or "break." I just wear them so much they eventually start have little/no flocking left where my feet rub (remember, that's usually after 2 years of daily wear).
This year's (2019 winter) version of the Moc came with a surprise that I wasn't expecting . . . the flocking is much thinner there doesn't seem to be as much of it in the Moc. In the past, there was at least 1/2-3/4 inch of flocking/fur inside the Moc. This year's version is only about 1/4 inch. Maybe LL Bean has a new, more smart flocking this time around - but I'm truly concerned that I might not make it through 1 year without rubbing the flocking down. This is the reason that it's not 5 stars . . . and I hope this isn't a trend that LL Bean is starting to help reduce costs or cheapen their best product.

I should have read the product information more closely. I have narrow feet and usually by 11.5 AA. I bought these in an 11 and probably should have gotten a 10. I think they would have stretched but I don't know.

I have a wide foot but thought the moccasins would strech to fit my 5 to 6E foot. However, the stitching was such that streching was not going to happen. I wore them for a bried time (elevted as I lounged in my chair) and they were tight enough to cause extreme discomfort.
They seemed to be true to size and well made. Otherwise, they probably would have strecched over time to fit but I did not want to try that with such a quality product.
They were warm, which is why I wanted them.

I like these slippers very much but the laces keep untying. Not sure if I should cut them because it is annoying retying them all the time.

This is a great slipper, but I like my old ones better. I have a pair from L. L. Bean that is probably 5 years old that I wear all the time at home, even outside (I live in FL so it is warm mot of the year). I knew when I ordered these they would be different - they have fur coming out the top and have fur inside rather than just the shearling like material the old ones have. I had hoped they would feel about the same, but they don't. I highly recommend them for colder climates. I had also bought a pair for a friend who also had the old pair and liked them so much he convinced me to buy the original pair. Nothing against the slippers, neither of us love this version and are mostly wearing our old ones.

Seems well made and, overall, very comfortable. The toe box could be a little more generous in height for me. Otherwise, a good purchase.

After wearing the past 10 days, just tried to tighten these, as they seem, on occasion, loose. Wound up "tearing" through the top left non-reinforced eyelet of the right, looser, moccasin. May decide to turn them in, for a fresh, undamaged pair. Recommend installing reinforced eyelets, even ones that are interior, to prevent rips...

I bought these because they come in a 14EE. I do wish they were a hair longer and wider. I hope these last. Other brands never fit right and wear out in less then 2 years. Time will tell if these last longer. I think the inner pile is very nice, but in some places it seems a bit thin, or short. These cost a litter more then other brands I have owned, but they do seem to be worth the extra cost. The big difference between these and the cheap ones is that my feet don't get cold. The wool lining wicks the moister away and my feet stay warmer. Amen.

I purchased these Moccasin sleepers for my Husband for Christmas. He has had quite a few cheaper slippers in the past that didn't hold up very well, so I'm hoping these do, so far, so good, he say's they are comfortable, and likes them, time will tell........

My 14 year old son has size 13 feet in athletic and casual shoes. I ordered size 13 mocs and they were a full size too big for him, slipping off his heels. Recommend ordering down a size. Exchanging for 12. Beautiful, well-made shoe though.

The mocs are stylish and fit well however I'm disappointed in that the heel and sole cushioning is too soft. There should be a more rigid sole and heel using a cushion such as that found in Crocs.

Very warm and comfortable. The sole permits use outdoors. Without the 25% discount I would have thought them too expensive.

They're as good as Moccasins I've purchased before, that I paid $20.00 less for. Since this review is at the beginning of their use, I'll have a better reply, positive or negative, in a year from now, depending on how they wear by the end of the time.

I purchased these as a gift to replace a pair that have to be 20 years old. Although I find them pricy, I know it is what my son wants again, and they should last him for a long time. I am counting on it!

I normally wear a size 12 in everything and will go down a half size for a more snug fit sometimes. After reading some of the reviews on these I decided to go a full size down to an 11. These are still too big and slip on my heels as I walk. Fortunately they have laces which at first I thought was just for aesthetics. After tightening them up they do fit a bit more snug around my heals but now the laces feel too tight on the top of my foot. In hindsight I"m sure could have purchased TWO sizes down to a 10 and they would have been perfect. I am considering an exchange but it took over a week for these to arrive and exchanges typically can take more than too weeks from what I understand so I don't know if it's worth the hassle. I will say they feel great on my feet. The shearling lining is cozy and warm but be warned these slippers are definitely over sized.

Bought these slippers about a month ago and love them.
They are true to size and enjoy just walking out to the mail box and not having to change into my shoes..
Buy them if your looking for a warm and comfortable slipper !!

Been a Bean's customer all my life, and have never been disappointed by anything I've purchased there. These slippers are no exception. Nice soft suede leather and shearling lining that make you feel as though you're walking on a cloud. Expectedly, the slippers fit slightly tightly at first, wearing a medium sock. However, the slippers quickly mold to your feet within a few days of wear, and now they fit like gloves. The sole is a good solid layer of rubber that cushions and does not wear down easily. I wear the slippers all day long in the house, and also wear them to go in the garage to fetch wood for the fireplace. But I rarely venture out onto the driveway with them because I don't want them to get dirty. Speaking of getting them dirty, you'll want to spray the outside of the slippers with a water repellant spray. I do this because I occasionally drip fluids onto my slippers in the kitchen, and a H2O repellant spray will help keep them clean. On the negative patriotic side, these slippers are made in China. However, I don't believe Bean's would sell a product that they did not believe would make their grade of quality. And, if you're not happy with them, per Bean's policy, within one year of purchase, you can return them for a refund, have Bean's fix them, or get a new pair. Too bad Bean's longtime satisfaction policy was abused by some dishonest customers, because they used to honor returns, etc., even outside a 1-year period. The only reason I haven't graded them with 5 stars yet is because I just purchased them within the past month, and don't know what their longevity will be. However, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Yeah, I'm not sure these are really worth the money..I wore a hole in the bottom of both of them. Okay, it did take about six years or so of daily wear--maybe four to six hours a day--but still, I did wear them out. I men really, aren't they supposed to last a long time? For that kind o' money I am expecting long wear, right? (Yes, Yes, of course, I am joking. These slippers are basically the only footwear I wear at home. Get home from work? take off the shoes, put on the slippers. Wake up? Put on the slippers right away. Walk out to get the mail? wear the slippers. I have actually caught myself leaving the house to go grocery shopping with my slippers on--and yes, I changed into real shoes. I am on maybe my fifth or sixth pair--and I have two other pairs of other styles for the cold Mn nights. Worth every penny.)
