Already used these in two snow storms and could not recommend them enough.

The boots met all my expectations and requirements, as usual.

Bought for my teenage son, he loves them! Ordered online but had to go to store to exchange and the associate was super helpful with the exchange and new order. Son thinks they are super comfortable, warm and dry.

This is second LL Bean boot purchase in 30 years. Very well constructed, excelllent value, and I know I will get 30 years from these new boots.

I actually bought these boots to wear hunting. I figured I would have had to break them in so I wore them for a couple of days before going. I put on a pair of typical athletic socks and then a pair of wool socks. Slid my foot in and to my surprise they were 100% comfortable. While out and about walked through mud and creeks and no issues. Only issue I found was when a stepped in a hole that was a little deeper than planned and wouldn't you know they are water proof all the way to the top. Then you can guess my foot was wet once it went over the top. The boot actually dried fast before I needed to wear them the next day which is great as well.

If you plan on wearing these in any level of snow, definitely get the Gore-Tex/Thinsulate version--they are so much warmer than the base version. I know it's a well-established fact that these boots do tend to run large--these don't seem to be quite as large because the insulation does take up some of the space however.

Fit is great. Warm and stylish.

My son told me he lives in these shoes. His feet are warm and dry, so I think that's about as good as it gets. (hmm, should I buy a second pair?)

I wear an actual size 12 and I ordered a size 12 due to the Gortex lining. They fit great with without thick socks.

I bought theese boots for a xmass present for my son he works outside in the winter they keep his feet warm and dry and still can climb ladders with out worrying about slipping

This boot is everything I had expected and wanted it to be. The boots look great, and the gore-tex liner keeps my feet warm, dry, and comfortable. I don't need to wear thick socks to be comfortable in this boot, but when I do it's just that much more comfortable. Do be very careful to read the sizing recommendations. I wear a 10-10.5 in most shoes and I did order a 9 for this boot. The first time I ordered the 9 Medium D, and the only issue was that the toe was narrow and uncomfortable, which I think was a direct result of having to size down. LLBean was very accommodating and helped get me in a size 9 Wide EE, which is the perfect size.

I purchased these boots as a Christmas present to myself, and oh boy what a gift they are! It took about a day of solid wear to get them broke in, and that was all. Since my purchase, I've worn them in rain, snow, and mud. They have performed better than expected. The thinsulate and gore tex liner is a must! Very well made and extremely comfortable!!

I have naturally cold feet, and when I'm out pushing snow, my feet have still managed to get cold even though I'm moving. These boots curb stomp every other boot I've worn. They keep my feet warm, leave enough room for wool socks if you want, and are snug enough that your feet can move comfortably. Would recommend ordering a size smaller than normal (I typically wear 11.5 or 12) and ordered a 12 since you can't do half sizes. Absolutely had too much room.

I got them for my husband for Christmas and was a little nervous about what size to order based on the information on-line about it. But decided just to get the size all his shoes in his closet are and they fit perfectly. He really likes them. I expect them to last as everything I've ever bought from LL Bean does. Thanks!

I bought these as much to keep my feet warm in winter as anything else. I was extremely happy with how comfortable they are.

Warm, comfortable and great for any weather. Good traction on ice also.

Fit great, use them while I shovel the snow

I have had a pair of bean boots in rotation since I was a kid, and I can honestly say that they have never disappointed. With the addition of Gore-Tex and Thinsulate you can not find a more functional boot for the harsh winters in New England. I have yet to put this specific pair through the ringer but I have every confidence that they will not fail. If you are on the fence, pull the trigger on these.

Originally bought for my hubby for Christmas. Went by website size recommendation to go down a size if he wore a 12, which would be an 11. Was not the case, returned for his normal size 12 and he is so happy and loves these boots. He loves that they keep you nice and toasty warm and are not heavy. Great product, quality material. BTW great customer service too!

I love these boots! I was nervous about the sizing but the sizing guidelines are helpful, so really listen to the guidelines! Warm (with thinsulate), durable boots!

These are great boots. They are a lot less bulky than other insulated boots I own for hunting. I purchased a pair of the uninsulated boots for my wife and daughter and they both love theirs. I went back and forth and finally decided to get the insulated Gore-Tex version of the boots because I spend a lot more time outside in cold and wet conditions. As recommended, I ordered one full size smaller than I normally wear and they fit perfectly, and they are comfortable with or without a pair of thick socks. The thick socks help on the upper leg where the tops rub, but right now they're still new and maybe a little stiffer than they will be once they are broken in a little better.

I ordered this for my husband for Christmas. He loves the boots but did have to exchange it for a smaller size as it ran a size too big.

This boot is everything I hoped it would be. They feel like they run a tad big. Since they do not carry half sizes, if in-between sizes I would order down. If you were planning on wearing double socks or very thick socks, they might fit more snug. Would highly recommend this boot!

Living in the mid-Atlantic, we don't need heavy duty boots. The goretex/thinsulate ll bean boot provides the perfect combination of warmth, Moistireprotecton and flexibility. Highly recommend!
