They're more comfortable than I thought they would be. They're warm enough and waterproof. I ordered a half larger and made them a custom fit with a different insole insert because I need more arch support. I'm thinking about getting an uninsulated pair.

Great boot. It jis just a little too big but ordered smaller size that I'm sure I'll be happy with.

I bought the Gore-tex/Thinsulate boots 3 years ago and they have always kept my feet warm and dry during our New England winters. I attached a photo of my older LL Bean boots that I bought in 1985 at your store. The leather uppers and laces are original (I had them re-soled last year), and an annual application of your Boot Guard product keeps both pairs in great shape. They are my rain boots now and at 37 years old, they are older than some of my co-workers!

I BOUGHT A PAIR A MONTH AGO PREPARING FOR WINTER COLD MONTHS NEVA WORN THEM BESIDES TRYING THEM ON I OWNED A PAIR YEARS AGO BUT NOT GOR-TEX AND THEY LAST ME SEVERAL YEARS, BUT NOW THT I COMPT THE GOR-TEX OV THESE INO THEY WILL OUTLAST THE TEST OV TIME, EXSPECIALLY ONCE I REACH FOR THEM IN NEED FOR TIME TOO WEAR THEY READY AN BORN TOO ROLLL

I love these new boots. Of course, since I received them, it has not been wet enough or cold enough here in Missouri to need to wear them! But I ordered them in advance of the winter, so I know they'll be great when it gets cold and wet and snowy.

I bought these about 20 years ago, and last year, for the fraction of the price of a new pair, I had LL Bean replace the rubber soles only because the chain bottoms were worn to the point they were slipping and at age 78, that's not s good thing. Not only are they warm, they are very comfortable for walking reasonable distances, as in a mile or so. I live in Maine and venture to even colder Minnesota in the winter now and then and for that trip, this is the only footwear I take. I've stood in many ice arenas around New England over the past few years and they never fail to keep my feet warm, The insides are as good as new as are the exterior, as you can see by the photo I just took (2022). AND they are made not only in USA, but in MAINE!

See my comment about sizing. 2. ***Sizing***If the sizing of the "original unlined style Bean Boot" is an issue ("medium size" too small and "wide size" too big) then try these "Gore-Tex Thinsulate" boots in the "wide size"instant fit! *Assuming you don't mind a little more insulation/warmth while being waterproof. 3. Immediately comfortable with little to no break-in period. Game changer boot!

LL Bean delievers a execllent quality boot made in Maine that will last me at least 20-30 years of heavy use in the winter season. I will be using these boots for the snow and the cold. I purchased these boots knowing that i will be moving back up north. Thank you LL Bean for making these boots here in Maine with execellent workmanship and quality materials. I recently purchased a pair of Made in Maine, USA boots. I've had LL Bean products my entire life, wearing them since high school. I've never been disappointed with their products. The highly skilled workmanship of the Maine team that assembled my boots shines through. Comfort and warmth is exceptional. No corners were cut in the leather stitching. Exceptional!

These boot are good, the wide size fits, and feet are dry.

I bought size 10 and normally wear a 10 1/2 or 11 , and these fit perfectly with enough room for heavier sock if i need it. They were surprisingly comfortable and so easy to slip on and off without bending over to grab them, i seldom even tie them. The gortex and thinsulate lining are a definite plus!

One size smaller fits great. I was a little worried that the goretex liner fit too tight in the store and felt slightly narrow but it stretches to perfect fit after a day. Love that I can drive and run quick errands without having to tie them.

This boot is exactly as I expected, it is warm, comfortable and easy on/ off. Customer service was excellent as it was ordered at the store.

This awesome boot is incredibly warm. I can hike and hunt and still feel my toes.

Lots of room to accommodate thick woolen socks. Easy on and off. Comfortable. Ordered my usual size 11, which was big enough.
