My wife ordered the mic for me for Christmas. I couldn't wait to try them on. When I did they fell off my feet. They were size 11. I have worn a 11.5 for over 40 years. We sent them back after a phone call. We then got a size 10. Same problem. My heel comes out of the shoe when I walk even with a heavy sock. The heel is straight up and down not cupped like a shoe. It's no wonder my heel comes out. Poor design. I have even tried inserts. My heel still comes out when I walk. I have tried everything. I can't imagine going to a size 9. To get a fit. Poor design. Waste of $110 .

I'm a size 9 mens. These came in a size "9" and were way too big for me and my dad who's a size 11.5.

We received the size that we ordered and they run really big. I sent them back to exchange for size smaller. It's been over two weeks and I've heard nothing. I called them to make sure that they received them and I was told that it's going to take 4 to 8 weeks for any kind of exchange or refund. They couldn't even let me know if they had received my shipment.

Quality lacking. Ordered to replace a pair purchased in 1985. Shocking the degradation in quality. Fit, finish, construction, sorely lacking. Returned immediately. Will not order from Bean's again. What a disappointment.

I would give it 5 stars if it fit and if it fit the first time. I wear a 10 1/2 D with thin socks in LL Bean leather mocs. The size chart said to go down 1, so I bought a 9. My feet were swimming in them. I exchanged them after an hour on phone with customer service who reco'd a 9 NARROW. They came and they are STILL way too big even when I wear a thick ski sock. I got dinged for the return which I get as 25% of apparel is returned which kills companies. But this problem is solely because of LL Bean's HORRIBLE size chart which is wrong even when using their own other shoes for comparison. And because of it, I don't want to return and get a size 2 1/2 smaller and one size narrower than I normally wear and get charged for it. I will never buy another LL Bean product online because they just size totally wrong.

I love the style of these shoes. They are classic, designed to go with almost any outfit, and of course, keep feet dry. But dry feet and usable feet are two different things. In other words, these shoes are perfect for STANDING or SITTING in the rain/snow/damp weather, but not for walking in said weather, unless your walk is nothing short of crossing the street or meandering a few city blocks at maximum. I have worn my shoes once and have the damaged, blister-ridden, skin-peeled feet to prove why I, unfortunately, after having shelled out $100, will not be wearing them again … unless I find a puddle I need to stand in. I so envisioned myself pulling these out every year, during the rainy, snowy months, to keep my feet dry, warm, and comfortable against the elements, but alas I must be able to walk in those elements. Perhaps half sizes and/or appropriately wider widths — or even a customizable option for more money would suffice. Until then, I’ll have to wait until Reebok unveils their version of a duck shoe.

Great for slipping on to go outside. However, they fell apart after about 1 year of use. When I called to tell them they were too large they told me to tighten the leather laces, which may have aided in them coming apart.

Shoes are extremely heavy. They are actually heavier than any pair of full size rainboots that I own. They are also MUCH larger than marked size. Returning these ASAP.

Don't by online unless you know exactly what size moc you need. These shoes are a size and a half to two sizes larger than you typically order. LL Bean assumes you will be wearing super thick socks maybe two pairs-had to return my order. Not worth the fuss.

Size is totally wrong, clown shoes is better description. I've order the gum shoes three times in the past in 9N, but no longer available. The mocs come in narrow but were a joke. But I wasn't going to continue to send them back, PAYING FOR SHIPPING, trying to figure out their crazy sizing. Wasted my time and money, while they,LLB, ruined a great product

Shoes were much too long and the back was not formed properly to keep my heel from slipping out when walking. Returned for full refund

Normal size is 11, ordered size 10 due to reviews. 10 too long, ordered size 9, but fit not right. Cut of shoe changed from older version so it feels like it will slip off, even though size 9 is 1/2 size too short.

I was very disappointed that the shoe sizing was completely off. I usually wear an 11 1/2 extra wide. I ordered a 12 EE allowing room for heavy socks. They were way too big so I sent them back and got an 11 EE. They were also way too big, so I ordered a 10 EE and they were way too big as well. I gave up at this point. I'm not sure what is going on, I had these shoes years ago and didin't have this trouble.

Everything in the process went very well, but the size runs EXTREMELY large. I can almost put both feet in one shoe. Will be returning them as soon as I can arrange it.

Gorgeous boots and a great color. But the mouth is too wide in the back. My heel came right out. I wore thick wool socks with it, and it was still too big. My feet fit front to back, so a smaller size isn't an option. The straps are decorative and can't be tightened. I loved these shoes so much, but sadly, had to return them.

I purchased these Rubber Mocs a year ago. Stitching in the back of the shoe has come loose, soles have worn excessively. I sent them back, customer service called and said it was normal wear. After discussing the issue they agreed to restitch the back of the shoe. I have had at least three other pair of LL Bean boots and never had a issue. For the price I paid for the shoes I would expect Bean to stand behind the product. I have shopped at Bean for over 30 years. Will be looking elsewhere!

Bought a pair of low duck boots(shoes) and my heal keeps lifting out. Never had this issue with Bean Duck boots in the past. Not a sizing issue, rather, poor design incorporating a wide footbed for comfort.

These shoes are made WAY too big. I first bought size 11, as is my normal size. They felt about a size too big, so I exchanged them for size 10. Again, they are so voluminous they fall off my feet. Who are the fit models for these shoes, Neanderthals?
