Finally brought this style back! Replaced a 20 year old pair I had fixed at the cobbler a few times because I just couldn't stop wearing them. Good as ever!

It's great this comes in wide. Replaced old ones I'd had for years. Great fit!

The Bean boot is the best in its category. My husband has worn countless brands and styles over the years but this boot is his favorite in every way.

Well made product! The size does run just about a full size larger. Ordered half size down for our son but was still too large. Fit my husband perfectly, reordered for my son. Now have two happy guys! Again, well made product from the U.S.A.

I have had my Bean boots for 8 years. They are very versatile. I suggest ordering a size down because they run big. If possible, take a pair of Bean boots socks and try them on at the store. I love my boots and wear them fall through Spring.

They are comfortable, keeps feet dry but run big. Try on first. However, LLBean is so good about returning items. Very forgiving.

Went back and forth between the 6 and 8 inch boots. I live in New England. Returned the 8 inch and went with the 6 inch version, which were much easier to slip on and off, and felt more like high top sneakers, but in a good way. Also I didn't think I would ever be standing in 8 inches of water or snow, and if I did, I'd use my Sorels. Definitely don't regret the decision. 6 inch will be a good 3 season boot for me.

These 6" boots are just what I need for walking my dogs in all the rain we've had this spring. Easy to slip on and tighten up; it's part of our pre-walk routine. These boots are surprisingly comfortable with a nicely crafted footbed. Size down as other reviewers have written. I wear a 10.5 in most shoes and got these in a size 9 which was perfect.

A classic. The fitting scheme is bizarre, but the directions on sizing worked for me.

Excellent boot. Wanted to write a review as this purchase brings me full circle in the world of Bean. The first product I ever purchased from Bean was this very same boot, which I believe was Beans first product ever made, coincidentally. I purchased the, if memory serves, 12 inch boot in 1988. I just purchased the 6 inch boot, what would be some 34 years later. That has been interspersed by many purchases over the years. L.L.Bean is the best clothing company in North America, possibly world wide. It's been an absolute pleasure to wear your products. Looking forward to further purchases.

I wear a size 15 and was surprised to read I should order a size down. The 14 fits great! I'm a happy bean guy!

These boots are phenomenal. I can work all day in the dirt & muck, and my feet stay dry and clean. Great product. Thanks to Leslie, my bootmaker!

Qualty in all respects. Purchased for my husband. This is his second pair of this type LL.Bean in 45 years. Finally got him to throw away first pair. He didn't even have to break the new ones in.

Boots fit really well, the sizing was right on for me. They are comfortable, and I can see them holding up in the winter (with thicker socks) or a rainy spring day just as well. I like things that can be used in different situations, so I like that they are not too warm. Good looking and well made.

These boots are great for the slush and muck. Easy on/off, clean up etc have earned these a priority spot next to the front door.

Comfortable, keeps your feet warm and dry. Great value too!

This is my second pair of 6 in. Boots, wear them all the time, very comfortaable, durable. No complaints.

I prefer the 6in to the 8in and I have had both. They are easier to get on and off, easier to lace up, and they retain less heat.

They run big so order a half size down. I love these boots!

Just got my boots and they are everything as advertised. I could have saved myself a lot of time and money and aggravation by getting them when I first wanted a pair. They fit perfectly. I wear a size 8 wide so I got a size 7 wide as recommended. Perfect. Very comfortable with good arch support. Thanks Kera, my bootmaker! You can tell these will last a long time. Do yourself a favor and get a pair, or two, now.

As expected, great versatility for yard work, snow treading and general wet and inclement conditions.
